I dare you to do these two things (don’t worry, it doesn’t require sacrifice of life or limb :P):
1. Spread your fingers (whichever hand works) on a flat surface. Next, bend the middle finger like this:
Got it so far? Next, lift your thumb. Now, your pinkie. Now, your pointer. Still good? Now, try lifting your ring finger. Were you able to do it?
2. Sit on a nice, comfortable chair. Now, lift your right foot and start making clockwise circles. While doing that, draw the number “6″ with your right hand. Is your foot still moving in the right direction?
If you were able to do both, I salute you! You’re part of a small percentage of people who can actually do these tricks!
I don’t have any explanation for the rotating thing, but I found one for the paralyzed finger trick:
With the paralyzed finger, it’s because all of your fingers actually have independent tendons save for two. That’s right: the middle and ring fingers’ tendons are connected, which prevents the ring finger from moving when the middle is folded.
Fool your friends with this too!:D
This is kinda gross: around 600 bugs actually live in people’s mouths. While most of these are actually helpful (phew!), some actually cause tooth decay and gum disease.
Out of the 600, 45% are only known by their DNA fingerprints and have never been cultured.
I’d sure hate to have this guy between my teeth.
When did I get these valuable life lessons? Only today.@_@ Well, not quite, but I got reminded of these things today.
Like I always tell my friends, you learn new things every day.

There are theories that state that the Easter eggs originated from pagan practices, but there are no clear-cut stories that say that this is the actual origin of the painted eggs.
Anyway, it was eventually adopted by Christianity, in that eggs became the symbol of new life (trivia: the chicken or the egg question has already been answered. Check out Genesis 1:20-22). Anyway, during the Lent season, tradition says that people weren’t allowed to eat eggs because of fasting, hence, the abundance of eggs at the end of it. The egg is seen as symbolic of the grave and life renewed by breaking out of it. The red (the old traditional color of Easter eggs) supposedly symbolizes the blood of Christ redeeming the world and our regeneration through the bloodshed for us by Christ. The egg itself is a symbol of the Resurrection: while being dormant it contains a new life sealed within it.
Another story would be extra-Biblical. After the Ascension of Christ, Mary Magdalene supposedly went to the Emperor of Rome and greeted him with “Christ is risen,” whereupon he pointed to an egg on his table and stated, “Christ has not risen no more than that egg is red.” After making this statement it is said the egg immediately turned blood red.
Anyway, whatever the case, I wish all of you a blessed Easter.:D Hope you and your family have lots of fun this day.
