Eating in the Dark

“The Dark Side of Hyde Park” was a restaurant in Sydney, Australia that had a unique feature: customers had their meal in complete and total darkness.

Yep, the waiters here did wear night-vision goggles.

The restaurant had a two-fold purpose: to make people feel what it’s like for a blind person, and also to enhance their dining experience, because this way, they would be able to concentrate on the taste of their food and nothing else.

Eventually, however, the restaurant had to close down.

Maybe they broke utensils, plates, and glasses on a regular basis.

The last line is funny! HAHA!

Oh, I dont mind eating in the dark, like once in ten years but I dont think I would go back to such a restaurant again that soon after one time there. It can still be seen as funny for me if I dont get to see the food that I am putting in my mouth, but not being to see the utensils and where what is, can be pretty annoying. I dont think this is the way to enjoy food. The same reason why too much bright blinding lightings can be annoying too, so I prefer amber.
