Winning Pitch

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Most of the buses I ride to work are now equipped with these LCD screens that show these commercials and music videos. Funny, because a lot (and I mean a lot) of ‘em are Electrolux products, so, being the crazy girl that I am, I decided to post the lyrics of the Electrolux jingle that was such a hit in the 90s.:P I don’t know if they won any awards with this, but I do know that it’s based on an actual song, I just don’t know what it’s called.@_@ Probably made the poor Electrolux salesmen have major “song stuck in head” syndrome though.

I’m gonna knock on your door,

Ring on your bell

Tap on your window too

So why don’t you open your door

So I can show you more?

I’m your friendly Electrolux man! *imagine hand waving*

That was in the 90s. Now, if a total stranger asked me to go and open my door, I’d probably run screaming for the cops.:P

CSI, Anyone?

The fingerprints of koala bears are virtually indistinguishable from those of humans, so much so that they could be confused at a crime scene.

Wonder if any boo-boos of wrong identification have happened in Australia. Would they arrest the poor koala bears? Let’s hope they’re not asked to put their hands up, or else they’d fall of the trees.:O

Must be All Those -Iums

The letter “J” does not yet appear anywhere within the periodic table of the elements.

Wonder what’s wrong with it? Is it some weird scientific superstition (how paradoxical :p)?

Must Have Had Too Much Coffee

A hedgehog’s heart beats 300 times a minute on average.

No wonder approximately half of the hedgehog population pass away before they are a year old.:(

Where is Mario?

Friday, July 6th, 2007

Nineties’ kiddies, here’s something for you. Before there were Princess Toadstool/Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, and Koopa, the Mario brothers only had each other (if you’re excempting fireballs, crabs, turtles, and icicles) when they were known as, er, well, the Mario Brothers.

I played this when I was a kid, so when I saw the video, I couldn’t resist posting it here.:p

For those who have no idea what this is about… I’ll feel so old when you tell me so.XD

Oh yeah! Click on the link if you can’t watch the video from here.
