Did you know that mapmaking is older than writing?
I wonder how that the old explorers made and “read” maps. Did they go and say, “Hey, we’re supposed to go to that place that looks like an elk”? More importantly, how did they know what to name places, if they didn’t know how to write it down? This is speaking from personal experience, because my memory’s incredibly lousy and I have to write things down so I won’t forget.@_@ Who knows? Maybe our countries were named “Potato,” “Carrot,” or “Cabbage” without us realizing it, since their old names weren’t written down anyway.
Man, my sleepiness is getting to me. I’m not making any sense.@_@

Haha. Funny! But yeah, I’ve heard about this. And apparently, there are master navigators, who can look for places (like islands), by using only their skin. I mean, they can go look for a place, then go back to where they came from, then find that place again. Something like that. Hahaha. I’m not good in explaining! Hahahaha
