Coke-Induced Hallucinations?

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Is it me, or are these two videos similar to each other?@_@ The beat’s different, but the concept’s almost exactly the same, and the thing is, they’re from two countries: one’s from the Philippines, the other, from an Arab country (?).

If anyone can give me any more ads from other countries, I’d be very grateful.:D

What a strange collection: Coke commercials.@_@

Oh yeah, if you can’t watch the video click on the links below:

Lb = Light Bulb?@_@

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Ever wondered why “pound” is abbreviated as “lb”? Apparently, it came from the Latin term ”libra pondo”, meaning weight or balance, where the constellation got its name.

Now I’ll be able to think of Latin terms while checking my weight.:D How… smart.

Numa-Numa Cat

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Looks like a video week for me.:D I was going through Dreamstudio, and I saw this uber-kawaii Muffled Noise posted. I couldn’t stop laughing! Thought I’d share the love with all of you people.:D

There’s something about it that’s so addicting. It’s been five minutes, and I’m still watching it! I love the way the kitty nods, it makes his head so fat and round.:D Such a perfect Brain Freeze video, if I ever saw one.

Oh yeah, you can watch the Numa-Numa Kitty by going to http://video.sanriotown.com/video/9f7d3aa3700edfcf, if for some strange reason you can’t watch it up there.:P

Ok, now, back to watching the kitty. Nyahahahahahahaha!

Can’t Breathe… Too long… A word…

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

is considered to be the longest English word to date, consisting of 45 letters. It pertains to a lung disease caused by inhaling fine silica dust usually released by volcanoes.

Interestingly, the word was coined specifically so as to be considered the longest English word. It’s more commonly known as pneumoconiosis (not that that’s saying much), otherwise known as black lung disease.

You know what? If someone with that disease was forced to mention the name of his/her disease, s/he’d have run out of breath a quarter through the word. People sometimes… Tsk, tsk.
