When you are so sleepy
and you want some coffee
but you don’t have the time…
treat yourself to Kopiko.

Since a Sanrio Town moderator (dunno which one though o_O)asked me to make a translation of the Coke Beat, I’ll do my best to do it. Filipino’s not my strongest subject, though, so for those who read this who are really good in the language, sorry!:O
I’ll just translate this line by line so we’ll be able to follow it.:) It’s not going to be a direct translation though, otherwise, it wouldn’t make any sense at all. lol
Here’s the beat, let’s do this together
Here’s the beat, don’t mess up
Faster and faster
Don’t miss anything
Don’t mix it up
Do you get it? I get it!
The…
Coca-Cola!
Getting confused, Getting confused
Getting dizzy, Getting dizzy,
This is my coke!
This is my coke!
This is my coke!
Whew! That was haaaard! No wonder it was in Filipino! If it was in English, the players would end up losing their breaths before the end of the song! lol Still cool though.:D
No one will easily forget the “Coke Beat” ad, released a few years ago in the Philippines. With a catchy jingle and matching moves to go along with it, no wonder it became such a hit!
Ito ang beat sabay-sabay
Ito ang beat bawal sablay
Pabilis ng pabilis
‘Wag mag-mimiss
‘Wag mag -mimix
Gets mo na? gets ko na!
Ang ahh…. Coca-Cola!
Nalilito, nalilito
Nahihilo, nahihilo
Coke ko ‘to!
Coke ko ‘to!
Coke ko ‘to!
Can you follow their actions while singing with them?
Hey! I uploaded a video on Dreamstudio.:D I got it from a friend a couple of years ago. I hope you like it, and please leave comments too!
