Hello HKO peeps! Ahoy!

 Cats affect your typing- didn’t you know that ?  Frequently in Pirate Guild chat I will have typos (sometimes even humorous typos-but that’s another story) . And the reason I am typo-ing (is that a word? O_o)  is usually cause there is a cat on my lap obstructing my typing by obstructing the keyboard. Or draped over my arm and adding 10 poundsof weight to my right arm . Or sprawled on my desk and obscuring my keyboard. Or sitting on my shoulder and requiring love and attention- or - well, you get the idea.

Anyway, I am including a pic here of one of our cats-Felix . He is named after the Bible name of Felix not the cartoon. (YAYadding my 1st screenie or pic added to a blog post!)  and you can see bythe pic that there a PC nearby!

So , there you have it- evidence of my typos problemn! ~serenitycat

You know some things are just WRONG- as in “this thing” just doesn’t go with “that thing”. 

We all know that peanut butter and jelly go great together-they just seem right !  Then there is wrong- like say, maybe peanut butter and mayonaise or pb and ketchup . eewwwww– yucko- just wrong.  :( 

Well, the other day I heard a wrong thing- I was at the chiropractor’s office and ,of course, they play Muzak (you know cheesy music with no voices) and there was a U2 song on Muzak! A U2 song !!! Who on earth, ever thought it was ok to make a U2 song into Muzak in the 1st place ?- I have NO idea!       It’s not even that I am a HUGE U2 fan - I mean being an 80’s girl                   (ie I was a teen during the 80’s and yes, I really AM that old ,and still LOVE HK and played HKO!) I like U2 fairly well. But I am not a huge fan, who  is now offended- I am just a person with common sense and decent ears who can ,absolutely, hear that it is NOT RIGHT to put U2 on Muzak! So , they were playing “Where the Streets Have No Name” on the Muzak- it just sounded so WRONG! ya know ?!

There ! I feel better ! Ranting is good- so anythings that you find wrong in your corner of the world? feel free to leave a comment !

Today is Saturday!  We just got back from a “going-out of Country* party for our friends who are missionaries- they are leaving the US soon to go to the Dominican Republic.  I was very happy to see them and hear all that the Lord is preparing for them in DR. I pray that they will be a blessing to all the people they serve there.  Capt and I are making tentative plans to go visit them sometime later this year! Maybe in April -which is my birthday month. I have never been out of the country before and now that I got my passport (hurray) maybe I can finally go!

Meanwhile at home I am looking forward to starting my excercise/kick boxing class back up. I spend way too much time in front of computers! and need to get up and get my blood moving! LOL!  later y’all.

Well, this is my first post.  I have a LOT to learn about this blog process so - for now this blog will be rather plain - since I dont know how to add in videos and pics and stuff!

I am serenitycat ,  PROUD officer of Pirate Guild. ARRGGHH!  and I just wanted to post up and say I AM SO EXCITED about Christmas Reunion- Founders  !! I hope to be able to play some tonight when they turn the servers on - but wont be able to stay up too late- cause I have to work tomorrow. I am on EST and have to be at work by 8:15 am . But, hey I can play some this weekend - so it’ll be okay!
