Below is a link to my lovely friend Bi ’s blog (currently she plays over in HKO SEA for those of you that know her! )  . This pic is from back in November where a bunch of us were hanging out in HKO SEA (which is an AWESOME server and publisher to play at! )

   –  we ended up at GM Bacon’s farm (who never updates his blog, grr , worse than me! )

  where GM Bacon -using his amazing GM powers - built the absolute 1000 percent best house in HKO

 -and built it on one of the best looking farms.  Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! Isn’t it Booty-ful?

NOW - currently the Pirate Ship house is un-available in game and never has been available in-game AFAIK . The cutie farm land that looks like a mini-island — that has been available in HKO before —- but currently isn’t AFAIK (in HKO NA and SEA at least) .

Anyway - I have pasted pics from part of Bi’s entire post here - just so I can regularly see my ’someday’ future house. ;)

There are many wonderful people with fabulous talents that are players in HKO .  GM Abby - finally posted an update to her BLOG.

Which made me think of me lovely friend of Pirate - miss Dawn LaRee who is an amazing cake artist and baker- she makes such cute things -with , of course, the cutest being the HKO themed goodies!  I thought if Dawn because of Abby’s love for the boxpig. And you have to check out Dawns Blog pics to see what I mean .

The furniture is a mixture of in game furniture recipes, item mall, HK 2009 Birthday Party items and Valentines Day 2010 items . 

I like the heart bed - but wish that it was programmed to be functional-so that my character could actually SIT on the bed!

It’s time to reward the hard work and achievements of our loyal beta testers!  Several events were held during the Sanrio Digital beta runs.  The winners of these Beta events are eligible for rewards in Hello Kitty Online’s North American version, available at http://hko.aeriagames.com.

Event rewards: Designer Depot

• Customized guild shirts
• Customized guild hats
• Note: each guild must submit their design as described here.

At the end of the Founders’ Christmas Reunion, guilds rushed to collect the resources needed to make their own customized guild shirts and hats.  Now it’s time to submit your guild designs!  For more details, check out the mechanics in the HKO Event Blog.

Event rewards: My House

• Exclusive crafting guides to produce unique avatar items.

During the global Closed Beta, the ultimate achievement was to build a house.  Players were asked to submit screenshots showing their avatars standing inside their farms and in front of their houses.  200 players accomplished this and will receive in-game money and crafting guides for unique items. For more information, see the mechanics on the official News Blog.

Event rewards: Lucky Seven

• In-game cash
• Exclusive crafting guides to produce unique avatar items.

Another achievement during the global Closed Beta was obtaining a pet.  Players were asked to take screenshots with 6 other players, each of them showing 1 pet for a total of 7 pets in the picture.  The 126 players who accomplished this challenge will receive in-game money and unique crafting guides. For more information on the Lucky Seven event, please see the Mechanics on the official Event Blog.

All rewards are valid exclusively for the North American release of Hello Kitty Online.  A confirmation email will be sent to the SanrioTown emails the winners used to login to Hello Kitty Online during the events.  We will be announcing the dates when the rewards can be claimed, so check back often!

Ok ahoy hko-ers - I KNOW that I am seriously umm delinquent in blogging- so i am getting ready to blog some more. In the mean time, this post serves as an up-date incase any of my friends and other peeps want to make a comment here. Take care-serenitycat

So -I did play HKO NA Closed Beta -which definitely fell short in some areas! Don’t even get me started on the problems post patch! HOWEVER- it was GREAT seeing and playing with lots of old friends and meeting new ones-that was the BEST part of HKo NA closed beta . An official thanks to the guilds that let Capt and I adopt in -since it was too short for us to get Pirate Guild running- I adopted into Cafe Cinnamon and Capt adopted into Maicrosoft .

I also play -casually - HKO ID. I won’t go into a current rant about ID’s lack of welcome to International players, but I will say ,I do play ID to see “current later content” (read develope my strategy guide to Paris and above)  and to see some of my in-game friends like Emily (hi em!) and Bi (waves at Bi) .

This update will eventually be followed with posts that have screenies- even tho I admit I still don’t know how to properly edit the screenies so they look fab when posted-but hey -maybe some day I will learn .

as of Sunday 9-27-09, I do have the flu- so I am sure that my posting will be sporadic-but at least I am trying. (whew) .

Well - I was looking through my screenshots (which there are NOT enough of them - must remember to take more screenies!)

And decided to post up one of the capt and me in game!

He is out of town right now - so this seems a good one to post. I sure do miss him! 

This screenie also includes CHOCOCAT- who I just LOVE!  This screenie took me a few times to get it right-cause I wanted it to show chococat at the height of his jump -up in the air- took me a few times to get the timing right!

And I REALLY miss HKO! Miss all the Pirates and other in-game folks and even some GM’s. and I think I even miss my farm -maybe - a little. (all the Pirates will fall OUT in shock on the farm comment- as it is a WELL KNOWN fact that Pirate Queens do not make good and willing farmers!) . Anyway- miss you all! I am wondering if we should just give up on HKO EVER coming back?

One thing I enjoy seeing in other peeps blogs is a pic of their character avatar. I know that we change clothes , hats , and hair -but a lot of us seem to adopt a particular look or outfit for a majority of our playing time.  So, I am including a  couple of screenies here . The one with blue hair is earlier - and the blonde hair is more recent. I was gifted with the blond hair at kitty’s birthday party- and was THRILLED to get it! So , whoever  that GM was that gifted me- THANKS again!

My poor neglected blog….. sad, very sad. tsk , tsk

Well, we have been traveling a bit - so less time for blogging. But we wont be traveling much in June , July and August -so it should improve here.

Sat 4/25 was my birthday . And the capt took me to Disney for my birthday! We had fun! Although I am not totally happy - since he didnt tell me that his back was hurting him - cause he didnt want to spoil my birthday trip .  However, we did have a fun time, and Disney was nice, the weather was great and I got to ride some rides that I hadnt before - like Rockin Roller Coaster which was awesome! smooth , great coaster!

 Anyway- I will try to blog some pictures soon ! Including My birthday gifts that we bought at the mini-Sanrio store that is inside the Japanese Department store that is at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot ! And  what else would my gifts be - but Chococat and Hello Kitty merchandise!

!I just discovered some of the BEST gaming news I have heard in a VERY long time! :

Studio Ghibli is making a video game! sssqqqquuueeeeeee!  I am so excited!

Use the external inks area to go to the Japanese Official Web Site -oh how I wish i could read Japanese!  and u can use the other link to go to the English IGN site!  I am SSOOO excited over this. Studio Ghibli has made some of my VERY FAVORITE animated films- including my much loved Howl’s Moving Castle!  NOW I will have to buy a DS!! links and pics to follow in a few mins!
