What’s my blog address?

Friday, December 29th, 2006

Ever wonder what your blog address is? Still confused at the instructions posted at the forums? Well look no further and say bye bye to that confusion!

We’ve updated the admin panel of the blog to show your exact blog address, and look, its clickable too! How easier can it get?

Why can’t I see any of my comments?

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

Hi guys! I’ve been receiving a lot of emails and posts in the forums about you not being able to receive any comments from people who visit your blog. A possibility could be that the settings blocking comments might be turned on. Just turn this off to allow comments from everyone! Here are the steps in doing it.

1. First go to your blog’s admin panel.
2. Click on the “Options” tab.
3. Then click on the “Discussions” tab.
4. Scroll down and look for the section that says “Before a comment appears.”
5. There is some stuff with check boxes below it. Make sure there is no check in “An administrator must always approve a comment” and “Comment author must have a previously approved comment”.
6. Scroll down further and click on the “Update Options” button.
7. You are done! Anyone can now post a comment!

Jumping and Rolling Text Effect

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

Lets try using the “Jumping and Rolling Text Effect”. This effect would be great for introducing a lively picture on your Dream Studio creation! The text jumps right from the top of the screen and when the letters are all settled, they suddenly roll out. This is a “Repetition” effect, which means its going to keep on looping and playing until the slide is finished.

How to apply it:
1. Click on Text and create the text you want. For this example we are using “This is cool!”.
2. On the right side where the effects are, click on “Repetition”.
3. When a menu shows, look for “Jumping and Rolling” and click on it.
4. You should see a preview of your text bouncing around and then rolling away. You are done! Don’t forget to apply and save your work!

How to choose and apply text effects.

Monday, December 11th, 2006

Still not sure how to select effects for your text? I’ve uploaded a video showing the steps on how to create and select a text effect.

Here are the steps:
1. Click on the text tab. It will expand and you will see some options and a “Create” button. Click on it.
2. On your workplace, you will see a that some text will be created, double click on it or click on the “Input” button. A new window will open up. Type in your text now then click “OK”.
3. On the right side of the panel, there you will see the available effects. One is “Entry” and the other “Repetitive”. Click on any of the two. It will expand into another menu then you can select your effect here. For this example we chose the “Snow” effect.
4. A preview of the effect will play. Just click on “Apply” then you are set! Don’t forget to save your work!
