I finally found my written journal…. =)

Well, today was Big Sis’s and my first ice skating lesson. However, Mommy’s car wouldn’t start, so Daddy had to drive home and fix it. Then, we took off in Daddy;s car and ended up, surprisingly, not late! =D

It turned out that Basic 1 class was taught with Basic 2. =O

We did swizzles, glides, backwards swizzles, and backwards glides. Afterwards, they started playing Christmas caols. Big Sis and I skated around, singing (and dancing for someone =D). Big Sis tripped over a hunk of ice too =D LOL.
After eating at “Say-Ronnos” (Serranos) =D Big Sis went to VRHS to try to see Mrs. Mann. After failing to see her, Big Sis and Mommy went out to pick up the goodie bags our art teacher makes for us. Once they brought them home, I ate 2 out of the 3 pieces of fudge =D

NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM! They were yummeh! =D

I thought tomorrow was the duet festival, but it isn’t! :P Anyways, I went to piano lessons today and my brother and I practiced our duet together. We cracked up and stuff, and it was soo fun! We ended up laughing till I thought I might need to go to the bathroom :P Also we hit each other with these soft smashers, like circular foam attached to a stick :P

It was fun. :D Here’s the song I’m doing with him. I play the girl’s part and him the boy’s.

Everyone in my family went to eat a brunch of Dim Sum with some of my relatives to start out the day. The food was pretty good.

This is not a picture of the food we ate, but this is an example of dim sum.

We also drank some Chinese tea along with it, which I don’t have a picture of…….

After our relatives left, we dropped by at the Toronto Science Centre. I wonder why “center” is “centre” in Canada. :o

This is not mine either, by the way.

Anyways, the science centre was very interesting and educational. It contained this very cool rock exhibit with a bunch of very very very very old rocks. And some were really smooth! And another felt like wood! Very interesting. My favorite rock was a smooth rock with a sort of black “aisle” down the middle.

When we were done, we went to the space exhibit. It was very cool. You could learn about the birth of the universe; see models of the planets; learn about black holes, stars, and galaxies; and much more! Soon we had to leave to go to a movie. It was about Mars, how we are someday going to land people on it, and how that, for now, they will use Spirit and Opportunity (robots)to learn more about Mars. We even got to see them build them! They reminded me vaguely of Wall-E. =D

Afterwards, we went to the special Mars section, where Vincent almost lost his little doll dolphin, which he adores. Then, we went to the human body section. It was very interesting. However, I did not see all of it before it was time to go.

We were originally planning ot drop by Chinatown, but upon arrival, we couldn’t find any parking spaces, so we went to my relatives’ house, to have some soup an strawberries before setting off for a big dinner. I never knew I had so many relatives. =D We ate at Wasabi, and there was this piece of cake that tasted SO good! It was chocolatey, and I don’t know how to describe it! After eating, we stayed there at Wasabi until it was 9. Then, we had to go back to my mom’s aunt’s house to pack up and go to sleep (which I am currently doing besides blogging). Good night! (Or morning, or whatever) :P

Today was spent traveling from Washington DC to Canada. We stopped to look at the US Niagara Falls (or Eagle Falls). We arrived at my mom’s aunt’s house very late. That was basically it! =D

Today we went to Monticello. It is very pretty. My favorite room in the house was Thomas Jefferson’s bedroom. There was a bed in the wall. And in the dining room, I saw a dumbwaiter and a “hot chocolate duck”. In the backyard, there was a hole in the trees to view the University of Virginia, for when Jefferson was planning the university, he was too old to climb onto a horse to ride down the hill to see it. I thought that was cool. I also bought a huge pencil, a long skinny one, and a huge Sacagawea dollar coin at the gift shop. Our next stop was Jamestown. Over there, I learned about life in Jamestown through galleries. There were Indian arrowheads too. And there were replicas of James Fort, the ships the people came in, and an Indian village. The belowdecks of the ships were very small and stuffy-hot. The Indian village was filled with animal skins, but they are Indians, right? I think James Fort was my fave though. It was very cool. It depicted storage buildings, schoolhouse, and houses which were rather small compared to our house. There was also a gun demonstration that made my heart rattle when the person shot the gun. At the gift shop, I bought a Powhatan teddy bear, some postcards, a pin, and a pencil.  For dinner, we ate at Marino’s and it was so QUIET. (It’s an Italian restaurant) By the way, outside of Jamestown Festival Park, there was a place where all 50 states’ flag was shown. There was also an American flag there and a fountain. =D

At 4:55 AM, I woke up to start our first day of vacation! After about one and a half hours of packing (Dad did it all), we started the long journey out of Texas at precisely 6:30 AM.

After a break at a McDonald’s (still in Texas), we continued on until we reached a picnic area. There we ate our lunch (in Texas). At 12:26 PM, we arrived at Louisiana! We all cheered! Finally, we were out of Texas! The rest of the journey was spent reading, resting, dancing around at gas stations (to keep our blood circulated), and working on lanyards!

At 4:23 PM, we entered Mississippi. And at 5:57 PM, after eating dinner on the road (hot dogs), we entered our destination state, Alabama! Still, we didn’t arrive at our hotel until 9:30. So, I was a bit surprised. Anyway, I better go to bed, for tomorrow we are going to Tuskegee Institute!

My dad had to go work at his company for the first half of the day, so my big sis, my little brother, and I did the decorations. My big sis designed it, and I had to tape up the streamers. Good thing my mom bought us a huge balloon, unless we would have had to blow up the balloons, and let me tell you, I can’t do that. Afterwards, my mom bustled us upstairs to dress up for the party. I wore a green (”spring”-y) dress with a sparkly flower headband. But after pictures, my head started hurting, so I took it off. :) My little sister got her own laptop, 6 books (two were thick), a big Hello Kitty plushie, Precious Moments, a Kitchen Fairy, and a bunch of clothes. My big sister got along the same lines (excepy for the 6 books part, she got one book: 1001 Things a College Student Needs to Know or something like that :)).

The cake was based on the color pink, and there were a bunch of flowers on it. (There was wax from the candles on it, but Mommy picked them off. I am glad. :)) It was delicious. I ate 3 slices. :)

After we cleaned up our party mess, we went to Cici’s Pizza to eat. We also played a bit there. A beat my brother in air hockey, and my little sis and I played against my brother and my big sis. They won, of course. But I was pretty good, going against my big sis. Or maybe we were both bad (as my big sis says). We played a bit of race cars, then went back to air hockey until the puck got stuck. So we went home.

Back at home, after eating grapes, and preparing to go to bed, my mom, little brother, big sis, and I played poker (we used fake Monopoly money) and Chinese poker until 1:30 AM. Then, we got tired and had to go to bed.

I had a lot of fun yesterday. Maybe you should look at the post on my big sis’s blog about this party. See blogroll for it.

Yay! I’m back!!!

Yesterday, I had to go to the dentist. Instead of using the paste on me to brush and polish up my teeth, they used a spray. Ugh! It tasted funny, and made my mouth feel well, I guess… funny!!!

After that, Mom, everyone else, and I went to Chuy’s meet up with Dad to eat lunch!!! The enchiladas there were really good, so go there some time!!!

“Scream ’til your daddy stops here,” is some sort of mascot for Chuy’s or something. =D

What have I been up to lately??? Well, I have been doing math in preparation for my excel math test, which will determine if I’m in it or not. And I have been Neopetsing. =D

I made improvements on my guild (I made it!!!!), Neopets Mine Guild. I’m thinking on changing the name to “Neopian Mine Guild”. Doesn’t it sound much better???

I also joined the guild my li’l sis made, Tamagotchi Connection Palace.

Vincent also made a guild too!!! It is called Dolphin Lover’s Guild. (P.S. This is for Big Sis: Vincent’s guild logo is a picture of Willie!!!)

Basically that’s what I have been up to lately

Oh yes, I have also been reading the W.I.T.C.H. books!!!!

Soooo, did ya miss me?

I apologize for not blogging for a while…… *shoots a LOOK @ Big Sis*

Updates! Updates! Updates! Don’t you love them???

  • Anyway, I went to MMU for the second time in my life two days after my previous post. It was really fun, and my favorite part was still the composer dramas! They’re really funny, sort of weird (=D) “plays” about composers. After the end of 3 days, day 4, otherwise known as last day, dawned. At 11:30 the students (yes, including me!) held a concert to show off what we had learned there to our parents. We sang, recited Bible verses, and some of the older ones (also including me!) gave reports on the non-performable things. I was pretty horrible, but nobody understands why I just don’t exactly like giving speeches (even short ones). But life is life, and I got through. And as my mom says

You can’t get through life in America without speeches

So, as I said, life is life

Mom “threatens” to pack up (or confiscate) my laptop now, so more updates later! You’ll be sure to enjoy it! ;D

Yesterday was jst any ordinary day, until Dad IMed my bro.  He said that there was an Office Max bag that would save us 15% off of all the things we fit in it, and that Macy’s had an extra 40% off.  I went downstairs to tell Mom about it.

We (mom, big sis, bro, li’l sis, and I) decided to go to Office Max by Lakeline Mall to buy some supplies for my sis, who is starting college at MIT, and my bro and I.

We spent maybe an hour there, and bought binders, and other things……….

Then Mom needed to go paya bill at Dillard’s, so big sis took li’l sis, bro, and I to Border’s.  There we spent almost 2 hours. I got more than halfway done with this book (and I just finished it =D) :

You should check it out!

But at that time, I wasn’t finished, so I bought the book and The Lightning Thief, another book.

After that, we went to the food court to eat dinner.  (I ate a huge club potato from Club Potato.  =D )

Then, we went to see the movie Wall-E on it’s opening day.  It was really cute.  My favorite character is Wall-E and then my second is Eve.  It was very cool how the maker’s of Wall-E (the movie) imagined how all the mechanics and “technology” would work.  The movie was very well imagined and the ending was good.  i loved this movie!  It was funny, and I even got a free Wall-E stretchy watch!

The watch was blue and had “engravings” of Wall-E and Eve, and I am currently wearing it! =D

When we got home, it was already 9:30 PM.  So everyone prepared to go bed, except for Big Sis.  Hehe.
