My Spanish teacher has been absent 1 day last week and 2 days this week.
Day One: I had a Japanese substitute, and she didn’t know how to control the class. It started out ok, but then, as we got into the activities part of class, my classmates started to chat and , therefore, miss the instructions. Everyone was goofing off and talking and shouting questions across the classroom that they could answer by themselves just by reading the white board (like I did and,, as a result, got my work done). When you have a Japanese substitute for your spanish class, it doesn’t work out too well.
Day 2: I had a French sub. This sub was pretty good, and she actually knew how to control the class. Too bad she didn’t speak Spanish.
Day 3: I actually had a Spanish-speaking sub today! It was awesome. She knew answers to every question, and she was the best sub so far.
