Hi everyone, it’s me Purin!

Boy or boy, do I have good news for you! *giggle giggle*

First, I am not sick anymore! Yay!

#2, *hheeheehee* Mimmy was chased out of the zoo by the zookeeper today because, hahahaha… the zookeeper thought Mimmy was an escaped tiger!! Rawwrrrr… Mimmy’s practising really well :P But that’s not the good news. The good news is I think Mimmy has decided not to be a tiger after all. That makes me, Purin, a very happy puppy because well, tigers are very fierce animals I think :\

And finally, Keroleen’s kitchen is back!! :DDDDD I wonder if frog food is soft and yummy *wonder wonder* I’m hungry :P

The other day GM-Wayne rescued me from where I was stuck in the air. I kind of liked how we ended up standing like that with his dino facing the world all around us. So I added more boars :P

With the Food for Friends event over, ripplecloud found herself staring lamely at her dried up oatfield… and that was when it dawned on her that she been so busy that she had not been to the hairdresser ever since before Hello Kitty’s Birthday party!

The result? Her blue-coloured hair had faded into a dark brown overnight!

And it had grown so long that it started to become irritating and ripplecloud had to tied it up instead.

Yes the change was that drastic, but FFF was a traumatic event. :P I mean, all that farming  drove deadrose mad didn’t it?

A visit to the hairdreser was very much in order but the hairdresser didn’t seem to have learnt any new hairstyles from the last time hmmm…

Pic above: Ok, actually I didn’t know Miku during Founders’ Beta but the silver hair is cool. I would have changed to that but it’s pretty common at about that time so I changed to the dark brown pig tails instead. :P

Well, at least only Starrfire7 seemed to have realised my hair was in an awful state! We met up so we can take a screenie showing off her glossy red tresses all slicked back and sharp looking. It looks a little too severe if you ask me :P

Note: Starrfire7 had always looked fierce, even when she had brown hair and ordered me to finish up my Hunger Strike quest :P

Then, ripplecloud went off to the harbour where GM-mickey was giving land deeds in exchange for the special event keys. ripple knew exactly what she wanted.

And then since she was idling around anyway, ripplecloud went to help build manni’s house. Housebuilding is a particularly hazardous occupation.. 1, it is mind-blowingly boring at times and 2, you sometimes get whacked by the other people building the house. Example… :P

So it escaped me as well why I would even volunteer to go help build yet another house. But I did, and Sailoria was extremely kind to let me leave the guild for a while to help my non-guild friends. She issued lots of dire warning expulsions if anyone should add someone to take my empty slot while as I was gone. You gotta love Sailoria :D

And for a second there, ripplecloud was a free person without a guild.

OMG, look at that house! They have barely started! Now what have I gotten myself into? D:

And then I was in a different guild… a smaller, quieter one. The vibe was different. And then we were four when Juno joined us sometime later.

You can tell everything is going downhill when nobody noticed that the building changed… we were THAT sleepy!

Honestly, my rational brain tells me trying to build the Empire Building is the worse thing you can do in the middle of deepest night (OMG 4a.m.!). So I decided that this build was just not worth it hahahahahaha! Goodbye *Twin Starrs* guild :P *snore*

The next day it was at my favourite spot in London (next to Pichanz and the London Eye) that I bumped into one of my Sailoria guildmates, who kindly added me back to the good old Sailor Scouts guild phew :P

Note: I don’t have a screenie of the guildmate adding me back so I will post one of GM-RoAN and I at this spot I am talking about instead hahahaha.

And then it was back to building another guildmate’s house…

… which turned out to be pretty fun because DawnLaRee was online :D

And so was kel! :D  It was great to catch up one last time with these two before HKO closed. It was always fun to talk to Kel who wants neon pink hair :P And I think I don’t talk to either Dawn and kel enough because I was always hurrying around hee :P

So kel was already at the kevent early and she said ripplecloud should check out GM-Wayne’s clothes. And I actually have an early screenie of GM-Wayne… so you can see the changes he made to his appearence as he GMed on the game hah :P

The dried oats are still there - -’ They should be piling on the ground to re-fertilise my land and disappear!

Hi everyone, it’s me Purin! Achooo!!! *blows nose*

I visited UsaBunnBunn the other day and I think I caught a flu bug from her D: ha-ha-haa-a-CHOOOO!!! *sniff sniff*

So I have been sleeping at home. I don’t even feel like eating my favourite pudding although ripplecloud has been making me drink hot milk. I don’t know, the milk doesn’t seem as yummy as usual though :\

Anyway, ripplecloud made me wake up to show her where my dog biscuits are. She said since I don’t eat them anyway, she’ll take it to Wilson, GM-Zel’s dog. I have been using those dog biscuits to decorate my basket because they come in different shapes and look so cute. I don’t eat them because I like soft food like pudding and warm milk better.

So I guess Wilson can have them. So here they are ripplecloud!

The Monster Wrangler event, I hadn’t died so many times since the days of being a noobie >.< Finally I levelled enough to get better clothes!!! Muahahahaha… it took a lot of effort I tell you… (to stop talking to everyone :P)

After Hello Kitty’s birthday, everyone started to farm in earnest for the Food for Friends event. It was also at around this time that ripplecloud started seeing GM-Calealen regularly…

ripplecloud also started visiting more guild-mates at their farms, like Katy’s…

And Waltrik’s

I think Waltrik left the clearing in the centre of his lemon tree forest so that he doesn’t get too claustrophobic in there :P

Everyone had prettier farms than ripple! *Oops*

So ripplecloud bucked up a bit.. and…Tada! I present to you ripplecloud’s oatfield!

Somehow, it offended ripplecloud’s sensibilities to see a whole square of oat plants so I have them in rows instead :P

ripplecloud was one of the guild representatives for the events, even if I am the furthest from being an awesome farmer :P But collection times were fun because this was the time when people visit my farm in a hurry to drop food. Heh.

While tending to my oats, who should drop by for a surprise visit? It was Tidesong!

Sometimes farming could be so tedious it drove you to your buddies’ farms for a break :P

Of course ripplecloud had to make a return visit at Tidesong’s farm too! I’m sorry I didn’t bring you a lemon pie for tea when I visited… GM_Calealen confiscated it, blame him! :P

Anyway, ripplecloud made up for the lack of a gift by amazing Tidesong with my mind-blowing intelligent conversation!!… er… Such as how the winds blow in opposite direction in her farm so that her lemon trees and tea plants sway in opposite directions towards each other, than in the same direction! Hah!

Ok, and how prickly her plants were…

I missed the the guild build event :(  so the next best thing I could do… check out the fine house that *Twin Starrs* built for noliai! :D (We happened to be online at the same time lucky me :D) Thanks noliai for having me :)

But most of the time, ripplecloud was just boring herself mindless staring at her oats grow @_@

Oh look here’s GM_Calealen to collect food again.

The law of ripplecloud says No illegal parking muahahahahaha!

But since GM_Calealen has been so nice to wait for me at my farm (even if he is AFK… maybe he fell asleep heh :P) ripplecloud decided to be extra nice and made lots of warm choco-milk for Elvis…

And I really meant LOTS of chocomilk haw haw haw…

I even offered Cal fried caterpillars. I understand its a delicacy in some countries and I have tons in my warehouse! GM_Calealen sort of ignored that question though :P Maybe he didn’t fancy frying them himself since I don’t have the skill guide for fried caterpillers. :P

Yes that’s me, still looking at stuff grow. Brain freezes even without Slurpee.

And as time moved on, the oats started to die and the event was almost over… phew!

And then it was over and everyone started to talk about something else instead yay!

To me, the Food for Friends event was the most tiring event ever!

Many thanks for all guildmates for being ever so helpful and supportive during this event! AND giant glomps for Sailoria for pulling everyone together magnificently for FFF as well as for the guild build (which I *cough* missed :( *cough*) Also to Gingerbreadgirl and all guild farmers, coal miners, money makers who toiled endlessly for this event. And also to our miraculous BlondeBlueEyes who never failed to amaze Sailoria and I with the container shiploads of money, chocomilk and pies! Sailoria absolutely fainted from your awesome-ness! xD

…Continued from Purin investigates Donut Pond…

Hi everyone, it’s me Purin! I’m sorry I’ve been gone for such a long time :P You see, I have been busy attending Hello Kitty’s birthday party. And then Muffin, Bagel and Scone and all my other friends keep asking me out to play. I was also interviewed by Sanriotown, they did a blog post on me, Purin and my family and friends! :D Heehee. I was so proud, I kept telling Muffin and Scone and Bagel about it!

And then later on, we found that Donut Pond has returned! :O  And Keroppi jumped into the pond and started swimming because in the middle of the pond, there is an island in the middle of Donut Pond with a clump of with pink tulips mysteriously growing in the middle!

And I really wanted to go with Keroppi to see the mysterious pink tulips! But..but I can’t swim!! :( So I went home and ate some pudding. They made me feel very full and sleepy so I fell asleep…

And then when I wake up again, I find myself on the island on Donut Pond standing in the middle of the pink tulips!!! And then I heard a voice!! It was My Melody! I couldn’t believe my puppy ears even if they are big and long!

But it WAS My Melody! I told her how much I missed her and I asked her how I can bring her back. But she told me now was not the time, and that she will appear in our dreams when the time is right! And I was so sad that My Melody will continue sleeping under the Pink Tulips that I cried and cried.

And then I felt someone shaking me and calling my name! It was Keroppi, Keroleen, Ganta and Kyoroske who have rebuilt their home on Donut Pond. They asked me how I came to be sleeping by the Pink Tulips bush at the island but I don’t know why either. They said I had been sleeping for a long time :\ but now that I am awake I think I will go home and eat some of Mama’s pudding. Mama always says:”You can’t beat Mama’s homemade pudding!” And her pudding is really yummy!.. I think I will go home now. Bye Bye~

The last two weeks of Founders’ Beta was really hectic. There were a lot of events scheduled so I had to miss some events due to life’s responsibilities *feels like a martyr :P*… One of the events which I really hated to miss was the GM Piñata! event. It seemed like everyone had a lot of fun for that event :\ and got a lot of goodies too!

Luckily I found GM-AVA who gave me a new top and three wigs *woot!! I love cheap thrills remember? :P* Thanks Starrfire7 for the tip :P It was also fun to meet GM-AVA and Munchkins for the first time, and to learn that GM-AVA was the lone hotdog in his guild. :P But the big question is… should I or should I not change my hair?

Hours before Hello Kitty’s 34th birthday party on Hello Kitty Online, Starrfire7, Noliai and ripplecloud went to the hairdresser to get our hair done, so that we would look the best at the party. It was very busy there and Makis the hairdresser worked until he was quite blue in the face and from top to toe.

Everyone was very punctual, even early, and the party room was full to the brim with excited people.

Sometimes, noliai and I can be kind of strange.

Since the party did not seem to be starting yet, we entertained ourselves with an impromptu worm party.

Then the party really got started, but it was a little confusing… We were to play hide-and-seek.

Ok… I confess, I could never think of where to go seek for Hide-and-Seek :P

So a bunch of us decided that there has got be other amusements elsewhere and we hopped over to GM-Bacon’s farm, hoping the GoodMan Bacon will serve up some bacon and hash… but what do you know? GM-Bacon was not at home. :( Heh! xP

And since the field was empty of crops, we thought we would do the neighbourly thing and set our pet to fertilising the land with poop of the most fragrant kind. :P

I hope GM-Bacon doesn’t get mad at us for trampling around his farm uninvited :P… and I made sure there was no poop where I was sitting before I sat down ok.

And then since there was no house to visit, we dispersed quietly after Dino left territorial markings on GM-Bacon’s farm. We are that peaceful :P

Sprite and I decided to sacrifice ourselves (wahahaha xD!!!) so we skipped the next party and went coal-digging instead. But the second party proved to be more interesting than the first… the prize would help the guild in the Food for Friends event! So of course we could not help but to rush back to London to join the second party too :P

We made it just in time to join the guild event and make our guild’s line slightly longer!

After the GMs have counted all the lines made by the different guilds, we went to Sailoria’s farm. The next challenge was a lot harder. We had to form the shape of the Twin Stars - -’

We almost couldn’t make it because everyone was seeing stars in a different way and giving different instructions. But finally Sailoria took the lead and with the amazing cooperation from everyone, we formed the star just as time was almost up!

GM-Sabrina was very encouraging!

Finally all of us went down to the harbour and thinking ourselves one of the most orderly guilds (besides the <月光祝福> guild and nevermind that we were rioting having a peaceful gathering at GM-Bacon’s farm earlier muahahahahahaha… xD), we got into line like eager soldiers.

Anyway as we sun-tanned on the harbour, the GMs were giving quizzes. I despaired of ever answering any of them in time (and correctly to win a prize) but guess what…. Tee and Victor5 actually did win the Hello Kitty USB thumbdrives! :D Congratulations again!

After a while, there were some interlopers in our line… heehee…

Sailoria, HKO Founders, Misfits, Charmmy Kitties, I♥HelloKitty and the *Twin Starrs* guild all won the various guild events at Hello Kitty’s Birthday Party!! :D (not sure if I have missed out any other guild :P, if I have sorry!)

Because of some miscommunication about where we were supposed to get the prize, I ended up being the one receiving the guild prize from GM-Calealen at a top secret location, lucky me :P

The prize was lemon seeds and money. It was precarious perching there like that! But I thought it was pretty too. The seeds and money were left with our amazing Sailoria and Gingerbreadgirl who managed the distribution of it to our farmers. :)

I’m glad Hello Kitty’s second Birthday Party ended on a happier note for us compared to the first party :) Thanks to the GMs who took in the feedback from the first party :D

Although the second birthday party happened at a time that most members were not online, we still did great as a guild. Way to go Sailoria and also all the other awesome guilds who participated and had fun! :D

Went to Hong Kong in December with the family. It was our first time there so we basically hit the tourist traps. It was a lot of fun but also pretty exhausting walking around the whole day :P. My toe still feels numb :(. Anyway, I was sorting through the environmental pictures, and this is sort of the digital index of the pictures I have. Photo spam ahead!

row 1 - I love the old buildings with geometric or repeated shapes and patterns that attract the eye.
row 2 - I seldom travel around X’mas and in my country we were never too hot about decorative lights and stuff on buildings so the light up of the buildings that form the city skyline was a novelty to me
row 2-3, column 3 -I happened to see statue/clay figurine of famous kungfu legends
row 3-6 - We spent an obscene amount of money on food. But then it seems food is in general slightly more expensive in Hong Kong anyway. Although the gap is closing I dare say.
row 6-9 - Lalala, wax people at Madam Taussauds on the Peak. It looks like Einstein and LKY had a tiff and are ignoring each other :P

row 11 -  we took the ferry to Hong Kong Island, switched bus and tram to get to the peak
row 12 - signage reminiscent of John Lennon and Yoko Ono?, night markets (pretty pervasive around the region so it’s a familiar sight)
row 13 - if you are not familiar with Carrie Chau, she’s pretty awesome :) (although my mom thinks its ugly heehee… generation gap.)

Ocean Park
I never really thought about visiting Hong Kong at all. There are lots more exciting places to go to really… like India wahahahaha.. Anyway, it seemed like a relatively safe and easy place to bring my mother and brother to. To be honest, I was too busy to read up about any of the tourist spots, so it was a surprise to me that Ocean Park had other stuff besides the aquarium and the amusement rides.
row 1 - what kind of a fish is this?? o_0
row 2-3 - I was particularly taken by the birds’ colourful plummage in the aviary, very lovely colours.
row 4 - the seals were particularly animated when fighting for food :P
row 4-5, column 3 - Ocean Park is built on a cliff, should be pretty exhilarating to be on that ride on a cliff?
row 5, column 2 - the seal and dolphin show was awesome
row 5 and 7, column 1; row 6 - more aquarium shots. The aquarium is basically a HUGE tank that is about 3 storeys tall. It looks a little overcrowded with all those giant fishes.
Last row - There is only one way to travel from one part of the park on the cliff to another part on lower ground and that is by a fairly long cable car ride that spanned across hillslopes. I would like to see that image in one of Miyazaki’s animation perhaps :P

Macau
row 1-3  - various indoor shots of the Venetian, a luxurious hotel-resort. I did not stay there but it was a nice place to be trigger happy.
row 3-5, column 3 - various outdoor shots of Venetian. It was visually impressive because it was the only tall building on its island.
Other photos - random impressions of the older parts of town and food.
Last row, cloumn 3 - Cheap Granny shoes!! to replace my worn out shoes xD …I am amused by the brand - 福妈妈 - which translates to “Fortune Mama”… auspicious :P muahahahaha!
