Somewhere in the forests outside Florapolis in a parallel universe, a day after Muffin’s birthday.

Purin: *digging into the ground* crystal, crystal, crystal… oh! Why do I only get crystal chippings but not crystals?

Muffin: *hiding from the heat from under Purin’s beret* Crystals are rarer… maybe if you stop digging so furiously and be more careful, you will stop chipping them, and get full crystals…

Purin: Oh… @_@ sheesh, I wish Founder’s Beta is now so we can just ask those humans to help us mine for crystals. Then we can go play instead Muffin :P

Just then Purin’s mama comes by with a lunch basket packed with milk and pudding and overhears Purin’s comment.

Purin’s mama: Humans! Not here when the Dark Lord Cinnamoroll is still about! *looking worried*

Link: *looks up from collecting wood with his unbroken broom wand* Don’t worry kind madam! We will make sure the Dark Lord is no more!… Just as soon as we can get the Light Arrows made :\

SuperForce: *looks up from grazing on the grass nearby* Are you sure these new Light Arrows we are making will work Snappy? Link’s original ones broke down, didn’t they?

Snappy: Those arrows don’t work here because they belong to another world and follow different rules. Just make new ones using materials from this world and they will work. Trust me.

The strange traveller, called Link, looks up and smiles humbly. He is still trying to get used to these strange folks, animals really, most of whom look harmless and cuddly-wuddly while the horses like Snappy and SuperForce look more hardy and strangely out of place in this fantastical land. 

Purin: *looks up with his mouth full of pudding from mama’s basket* Yes SuperForce! Snappy knows what he is talking about. He is a magic horse you know.  (o^ω^o)

SuperForce: *under his breath* Not to mention old and cranky, heehee…

Muffin: *excitedly* Purin look! The last crystal!!!

Purin: *Digs carefully, then holds all collected crystals in his paw* Now we have six coloured crystals! :D

Link: I have enough ivory wood as well. *wiping sweat off his forehead*

Purin: Yay, now we can go find Kiki to make the Light Arrows. Kiki is a fine inventor you know.  :) *explains to Link*

The group finds Kiki by the roadside at Florapolis.

Kiki: Ah, I see you have found all the materials that I need to help you construct new Light Arrows! :D

Purin: Yes here they are! ^^

Kiki: *starts handling the materials expertly* Now I can make arrow shafts from the ivory wood and fashion these six crystals into one light-bending crystalite tip to make the light arrow. This will take some time.

Purin’s Mama: *laughs* I do think I can hear those inventor cogs and wheels ticking in your head Kiki.

Snappy: Shhh!!!! Quiet, can you hear that strange sound?
