OK gals, and maybe some guys :P, we are now going into the last leg of ripplecloud’s HKO Closed Beta screenies… boo hoo…

Kindly understand that these screenshots have been edited and they were originally taken a few months back during the Closed Beta testing of HKO. The game is currently being improved and is not available for play. ^^

I hope the next Closed Beta is just around the corner and that I may take part too… :)

ripplecloud logged onto the HKO client, knowing that this is the last day of Closed Beta. She was sad, but also kind of relieved that the crazy house-building was coming to an end (to tell the truth :P)…

What she didn’t expect was to see this!

Note: In order not to create any misconceptions, you don’t get to see everyone’s nicks unless you mouseover them in the game e.g. NoMeNot!. I added the nicks for easier identification of some of the familiar players that we know ^^

The streets were more bustling than usual and what was with all the funky head gear? Is it some new activity?? Teletubbies vs Alien fishheads?? :O

Well, it seemed that GM-Tadakatsu (whom I’ve never heard of until the last day) was playing Santa Claus and giving closed beta testers a preview of the HKO fashion that will be available in Open Beta, by handing out free clothes to whoever wants them! So we were having an impromptu costume party! Omg, I wanted some tooo!!!!

But erm… … ok starrfire7! This was the first time I met starrfire7, by the way.. please to have met you ^^ Meanwhile the others hanging around seemed to have gotten tired of Tada being not around and Toki started to “poke” him virtually (No worries GM-Tadakatsu, nothing else was done to you besides poking :P)..

Everyone came to life when GM-Tadakatsu came back from AFK. It was “Tada, tada, I want this” and “Tada, Tada, I want that” and GM-Tadakatsu very patiently dealed out the goods :) I didn’t know what was available or what to ask for, so I asked GM-Tada for something blue but…

… bleah… talk about colour stereotypes! But it’s ok, I got a nice purple top in the end^^ Everyone liked the purple top :)

I was grateful so I gave Tada virtual ice-cream from the virtual picnic basket that NoMeNot! MidNiteEyes, BlondeBlueEyes and I were enjoying on our grass patch ^^.

People were still asking Gm-Tada for stuff. The Tada brand of clothing was in hot demand… is GM-Tadakatsu the next Takada Kenzo?? XD… I remembered Tada said he had a long skirt…

GM-Tada kept giving out clothes and forgot his lunch! Looks like the virtual food we kept stuffing him with earlier didn’t help at all muahahahahaha…

But there are still others coming online who haven’t gotten new clothes yet :\… so GM-Tada stayed on a little longer… and everyone was very happy ^^…

So finally Tada went off for lunch, but not before he sat himself comfortably by the side of the road and this was what happened - photo taking session wahahahaha … The people are in pink were members of the Made in Holland guild. ;)

Wouldn’t it be great if there’s actually a “Hyde Park” in London where we can all sit around for community get-together and picnics XD…
