Mood: Still Ill…

*sniff* I may need another day off from work if this cold of mine continues… Not that I’m complaining or anything like that… It’s just that I don’t want to be cooped up in the house because I’m sick…

Anyway, an officemate of mine is thinking of buying new speakers for her PC… I think her speakers are having some problems since they’re quite old, and look at what she’s replacing them with:

Ooohh~ They are just too cute!!! I asked her when and where she’s going to get them, but she refuses to tell me..! I really must do some more shopping if I want to get more Hello Kitty stuff…

The speakers are connected to the PC via a USB port. And we all know pink Hello Kitty look so good with a black PC right?

Now the question would be where to find these… Hm…

Oooh~ Sanriotown is holding up another contest! Yey~~

You basically have to make a video using Dream Studio and the use the “Twinkle Effect”. I’m really excited with this one, but for some reason, I’m not really aiming to “win”.

You know why?

The grand prize is a jewelry from MaBelleLife… As much as I love diamonds and all… The 3rd prize, which is the “Judges’ Award”, is much more interesting…

It’s a PINK Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! I want it!!!

It’s a 7.2 megapixel beauty… And I really love the color! (Not obvious, yeah?)

I need to get some kind of idea/inspiration for my video… I aim for the 3rd prize, I don’t want the necklace or the camcorder… I want that pink Sony Camera!!!

As I prepared to work today, I went about searching for my PSP. (Can’t leave for work without a PSP you know)
Le gasp~! What do I see?

AH!!! A pink spider! Get it off, get it off!!!

Lol… Actually… It’s a pink chibi Tachikoma I got in the mail today. A tachikoma is actually something from an anime called “Ghost in the Shell”. They’re battle tanks with artificial intelligence. Their AIs are so advanced that in time, they began to question whether or not they themselves have “ghosts” or souls within them.

They began to question what will happen to them when they die.

Both segments of Ghost in the Shell killed off the Tachikomas in the end. I wonder if there will be a third segment and a 2nd rvival of the Tachikomas. Their AIs are said to be stored in the Internet afterall…

Wouldn’t it be cool to have robotic AIs? Or to have parts of people who have missing limbs recreated into fully functional robotic limbs? It’s kind of a scary thought, but I’d like to see that happen one day…

Mood: Angry

I can’t believe it! Of all the people in the world, it had to be her! Argh!!! Noooo~ I refuse, refuse, refuse!!!

Oh yeah… you guys have no idea who I’m talking about…

You see, my brother’s girlfriend is going to the USA. I don’t really hate her, but I don’t exactly like her either… I never liked the way she treated my brother, and I don’t care if she rich and beautiful and… and… spoiled!!! She can’t tell me her hormones were taking over when she’s like that!

Anyway, she’s going to the USA and she’s planning to buy a pink PSP of all things! She thinks it will be amusing for the two of us to have pink PSPs…

Well I don’t!!! I don’t want to have the same stuff as she does, and I had the PSP first!!! Grrr…

Maybe I’ll put a Hello Kitty sticker on my PSP to show her that mine is not the same as hers…

Oh and kudos to the Sanriotown people for providing cute layouts for our blogs! Now my blog is so pink! I love it even more now!

Mood: Sleepy

It’s quite early where I am right now… So my officemate had the bright idea to try and wake me up with this:It really looks cute I think… And it goes well with my Pink PSP after all, since it’s pinkish-purple.

People in the office have been talking about customizing their PSPs for a while. I don’t really want to put those sticker things on my PSP because I like it as it is… PINK! But I also fell the need to show the world that my PSP is unique from everyone else’s!

Hm-hm… More things to consider…

Need temporary help on your company’s reception desk? One Japanese employment agency is suggesting you try recruiting a robot.

For just under 50,000 yen (240 pounds) a month, a fraction of the cost of a human temp, the PeopleStaff agency will despatch Hello Kitty Robo, a robotic receptionist capable of sensing a visitor’s presence, greeting him or her and holding simple conversations.

The Nagoya-based agency is also offering the services of Ifbot, an elderly-care robot that chats and poses riddles and arithmetical problems to train the brain and help avoid dementia. Spaceman-like Ifbot, which also quizzes people about their health, is aimed at hospitals and old peoples’ homes.

A spokeswoman for PeopleStaff said it would cost more than 300,000 yen a month to employ a person for this type of work, but warned that the robots were not capable of doing everything human employees can do.

Only to find this attached…

Apparently, this is a Hello Kitty Breath Tester. No, I’m not kidding… This cute little device apparently checks the quality (and smell, I suppose) of your breath, so you know whether you can go talk to your boss or not…

How exactly this works is beyond me…

Anyway, your breath will be rated in 4 different ways… From the best smelling breath, giving you a Hello Kitty smile and 3 hearts; to the worse smelling breath, giving you a disgusted looking Hello Kitty with a black heart…

I think this is cute, and hilarious. But I don’t think I’d buy one at all.
