Last Christmas, I found myself staring at a huge stash of Manga that was about $2 each…

The other day, I was in a similar situation… But I had to as some people to pinch me and ask if the price was really as I saw them to be.

Sure enough… It couldn’t be any clearer…

“Ah! Megami-sama!” were being sold at the local bookstore at a jaw dropping $4 a piece! The original price of these here were around $20, so it was a huge bargain!

The only catch was that not all the volumes were available for purchase. I got about 10 books, ranging from volume 1 to volume 20, but really… I could hardly care less! All I ever wanted was to own one of these since they were so expensive! And Now I have 10! And they’re all in English!

I am so happy~ x3

I love how Kosuke Fujishima has evolved his style. I never realized this series has been running for the past 20 years..! No wonder the current art style is so different that the first few books. Must have been a really great success!

Maybe I should take a picture of all the books. :3 Hee~hee~~

Not sure how interested people are about manga here, but I’m really really happy about this so I’m going to post it anyway~

 My sister and her husband came home from Taiwan yesterday, and look at the haul they got me…

The last 5 volumes of Fruits Basket, plus an additional, special edition volume! I think the special edition is an extra story about Kyo the Cat because it has the character “mao” up on front.

I am so broke and so happy. xDDDD

But I have no intentions of opening them all at the same time… I think I will probably open one a day, if not one every 2 days. I need to brush up on my Chinese again, because I lack practice…

Who is cuter?I can’t decide between the 2 of them really… I love My Melody because she’s pink, but I like Kuromi too because she’s more of a gothic looking character…

You can’t deny that the pink skull on her hoodie is cute..! x3

But apparently, I’m not the only one who’s having a hard time trying to decide who’s cuter… There’s a Japanese commercial that’s promoting My Melody and Kuromi products, and it uses Onegai My Melody animation! Check it out!

I’ve been watching Nickelodeon’s original animated series called “Avatar, The Last Airbender” lately, and found it very amusing. It combines action and comedy in a choreography of artistic martial arts and beautiful elemental effects.

But a better review of the series will be saved for later…

For people familiar with the series, this character will be quite familiar to you. His name is Uncle Iroh, the happy-go-lucky, fun-loving uncle of the Prince of the Fire Nation, Zuko. He became the father figure to Zuko when he was exiled by his own father in the series.

What saddens me is this image I saw in the 15th Chapter of the 2nd Book:

I was recently informed that Mako was actually the voice actor of Uncle Iroh. He was also the voice of Aku in Samurai Jack, and Master Splinter in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie.

He died July 21st, 2006, a day after he was given the confirmation that he is the official voice actor for TMNT. They might be able to find a replacement for the voice of Uncle Iroh in Season 3, but I don’t think it will ever be the same…

I’ll miss you Uncle Iroh. T_T Even if you are a fictional character. T_T

Ok, so I’m not entirely happy… I mean, my blog seems to only show the HTML codes instead the usual editor that I got used to… I suppose this means I need to lay off my pink smilies for a while. T_T Is anyone else having this problem?

Anyhow. =D I’ve been playing with my pink psp so much that I seem to forget the meaning of sleep. ^^;;;

It’s basically a percussion game where in you hit specific keys to go with the beat of the music… It takes a while to get used to (actually, took me VERY long to get used to because I’m not very good at games like this), but the mp3s they have are absolutely lovely~! *hearts*

Hm… I’m probably just playing the game because of the mp3s no matter how bad I am at playing it. xD

Ah, and this guy is an uber hottie! *love*love*love* ^3^

He’s the guitarist of the anime band in the game… So gorgeously hawt~ x3

Finally got rid of the cold… well… almost? Thanks to Luty for suggesting some vitamins.

Now… Kooh on the other hand, is a bad influence… She sent me the image on the right in an email, telling me it’s a character in Pangya cosplaying Hello Kitty.

Technically, Kooh, no where in the game did it ever say “Hello Kitty”. But I have to admit, gal, she’s nice and pink… Maybe I’ll give this game a try…

Oh… I already have so much to do and you want me to play pangya..! Lol…
