Hm… Lemme think…

1. The night we went up the Peek. It’s basically the highest point in all of Hong Kong. It was beautiful! You could see the lights of the city, and I had fun looking through the telescope to see if I can find where my hotel was.
2. The first time we went to 198 (now 208) Flavors Sorbet. It was heaven… It was freezing in Canada, but we still went out for ice cream! And there was literally 198 flavors! And you can taste test all the ice cream you want as well! x3
3. When I finished my thesis presentation on the 5th night of no sleep, I was finally able to snuggle my pillow and sleep soundly… for 16 straight hours! I woke up for a while and went back to sleep for another 8 hours before I was really back to normal.
4. The night when we had free passes to an eat all you can buffet in Shangri-La was probably the best, most deliscious night ever..! There was Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Asian foods everywhere! And there were at least 5 different kinds of dessert, including ice cream!!!
5. The night I wandered along the streets of Canada, I couldn’t sleep at the time, so I walked outside, went to the park, climbed up the hill and watched the sun rise… I’m not much of a morning person, so I never get to see sunrise much… I prefer sunsets better I think… ;3

I’m also wondering if I should buy a digital camera already… I’ve been using my officemate’s camera for taking picture of really small, close-up items… Nyurm… Think, think…

Not sure how interested people are about manga here, but I’m really really happy about this so I’m going to post it anyway~

 My sister and her husband came home from Taiwan yesterday, and look at the haul they got me…

The last 5 volumes of Fruits Basket, plus an additional, special edition volume! I think the special edition is an extra story about Kyo the Cat because it has the character “mao” up on front.

I am so broke and so happy. xDDDD

But I have no intentions of opening them all at the same time… I think I will probably open one a day, if not one every 2 days. I need to brush up on my Chinese again, because I lack practice…

I got in late for work… because of heavy flooding in all areas…

There’s a lot of heavy rain going on… but that was this morning, and now, the rain has gone… It only left after it got me all wet… ;x Oh poo~!

Have a look at this picture I took while I was on the over pass… I find it strange that all the traffic was only on one side of the road… the one going towards the West…

Brr… I feel cold now… I wonder if people would mind if we lower the air conditioning a bit? I mean… make it less cold, so higher the temperature..? o_o;;; I dunno…

Maybe the rain also washed my brain away… I can’t seem to think straight anymore… This is going to be so bad for my meeting..! But a lot of people couldn’t get to work today… So sad… :c

I found some cute emoticons on the Internet. They’re onions actually… and they are very, very emo~ Not in the bad way, but in a cute way…

Actually I found these from That Is Cute, and decided to do a little research of my own. It turns out, these characters are from a Chinese website called the Onion Club… Their emoticons are so cute~~ x3 Whoever thought an onion could be so lovable?

Anyway, I grabbed a few of them for my blog… Remember to go visit their website for more of these cuties. xD

Now meet Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin is an energetic little boy with an imagination that would beat any artist in his time. He turns his stuff tiger into a real live tiger called Hobbes! As any little boy, Calvin gets into all sorts of trouble, and his adventures with Hobbes, showing you the world through the eyes of a little boy.

Cute comic series and really funny..! I think some newspapers still publish these series in the comic section. If not, they have books for you to check out. Definitely something worth looking into. ^_^

Meet my new pet. =D Yay~! x3

Ok, so technically, they’re not real pets… but I treat them the same way. Mom doesn’t really allow me to keep real cats as pets because she says they stink. Ok, I’ll admit, a real cat does have a certain scent about him, but I still love them anyways…

Those are actually 2 different stuffies. The lion is actually a magnet, and he’s stuck on my file cabinet right now. The bread (which I call “pan”, the Japanese name for breads) is a key chain. I bought them on the same day my brother bought the Hello Kitty Wristwatch for his girlfriend.

Why? Well… I wanted to buy something to remember the day I went out with my brother… It doesn’t happen very often anymore, so I bought a keepsake.

 I’m a cheeseball I know. ^_^ But they’re my family, and I love them to bits… Don’t we all? xD

Oh yeah, this would also technically mean I got “nothing” during that day. (People who read my previous post know what I mean). What I meant by nothing is that my brother didn’t buy me anything… Except he did treat me to Ice Coffee… After I bought him dinner. x.x Rofl~ xD
