Hello Kitty has a Mouth?! o_o

Mood: Sickly…

I’ve been ill for the past couple of days… I think the heat of the weather is getting to me… I missed work for one day already and I’m still not as well as I should be… *sniff sniff*

Anyway… I have really nothing to show you guys at the moment… But I did notice something else from another blog…

Is it just me or does Hello Kitty have a mouth in this DVD cover?

I mean… Any Hello Kitty fan has probably asked the question about why Hello Kitty has no mouth before… and then there was that 2D animation that came out years ago where Hello Kitty had a mouth…

My point is… Hello Kitty isn’t suppose to have a mouth. For whatever artistic reasons the artist had, she had no mouth… “She speaks from the heart” as Sanrio says…

So why does she have a mouth on an official Sanrio home video?

I’m just confussed…

Anyway… My dear friend Kooh has shown me a cool site called Imeem. I haven’t uploaded any songs there yet, but decided to try and post a song from someone else…

Just a bit of a test. I hope you guys like this song…

Voodoo Dolls

Mood: Happy

I go to the office car pooling with a friend of my brother’s… For the past several weeks, I had to commute since he went on a business trip and vacation. It’s already summer so it’s pretty hard to commute in 29 degree celcius heat…

voodoo_kimono.jpgAnyway, he came back the other day, and gave me a present! Yay~

It’s a voodoo doll from Ethnic Voodoo. He originally bought it for me to kinda “gross me out” over Japanese stuffs…

But the moment I saw this pretty little girl in a pink kimono, I was eccstatic..!

To the misery of my brother’s friend, his original plan has failed…

According to the description, this voodoo doll’s name is “Sakura Girl in Kimono”. She is part of the Soothing and Healing series and she is bought mainly for people who aspire to have class and elegance.

I think I like her even more now…

Oooh~ Contest!!! X3

Mood: Excited

Oooh~ Sanriotown is holding up another contest! Yey~~

You basically have to make a video using Dream Studio and the use the “Twinkle Effect”. I’m really excited with this one, but for some reason, I’m not really aiming to “win”.

You know why?

The grand prize is a jewelry from MaBelleLife… As much as I love diamonds and all… The 3rd prize, which is the “Judges’ Award”, is much more interesting…

It’s a PINK Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! I want it!!!

It’s a 7.2 megapixel beauty… And I really love the color! (Not obvious, yeah?)

I need to get some kind of idea/inspiration for my video… I aim for the 3rd prize, I don’t want the necklace or the camcorder… I want that pink Sony Camera!!!

My Hello Kitty Stamps

Mood: Overwhelmed

I was away from civilazation for the past week… The Internet in our house was cut because of some technical problems with the service provider… Who knows what happened is a real mystery…

Anyway, went to McDonalds a few times. There was a new one that opened near the office, and they gave us these “Member Cards” wherein you get free items when you buy a certain amount of food…

Check out what I got..!

A nice pair of Hello Kitty Stamps..! Oh so happy~

Well, the stamp itself isn’t really of Hello Kitty. The black one says “Born to Love” and the purple one says “<3 You more & more”. Cute, ain’t it?

I’ll see if I can make up for the lost time and post more entries this week…

Mood: Not in the Mood

We’ve all seen how the Powerpuff Girls always save the day before bed time in Cartoon Network…

Some of us were even priviledged(?) enough to see the Anime version of the three cute superheroes…

But what about a live version of these cute little girls?

Don’t believe me?

No?

Well, I don’t believe me either, but have a look for yourself:

According to the OneRing sources inside Peter Jackson’s ‘3foot6′ and WETA have sent along word that Peter Jackson is working on a live action version of the popular ‘Powerpuff Girls’ cartoon. “WETA Workshop is already hard at work on props and miniatures based on the cartoon,” our source reveals “Pete is very excited about this project and is looking for a Summer 2008 release”. Meanwhile, news that his other projects, directing ‘The Lovely Bones’ and producing ‘Damnbusters’, have all been put on the back burner. Thanks to Michael who emailed us this.

I’m just stunned… Lolz… It should be interesting to see how the movie will look when it’s been released.

Let’s just hope we don’t end up watching some kids in a costume like the one on the right… I mean really… I don’t want to go see a movie where in grown-ups are dressed up like this shouting “We’re the Powerpuff Girls!”

The world just keeps getting weirder and weirder…

What in the?! O_o

Mood: Hungry…

As I prepared to work today, I went about searching for my PSP. (Can’t leave for work without a PSP you know)
Le gasp~! What do I see?

AH!!! A pink spider! Get it off, get it off!!!

Lol… Actually… It’s a pink chibi Tachikoma I got in the mail today. A tachikoma is actually something from an anime called “Ghost in the Shell”. They’re battle tanks with artificial intelligence. Their AIs are so advanced that in time, they began to question whether or not they themselves have “ghosts” or souls within them.

They began to question what will happen to them when they die.

Both segments of Ghost in the Shell killed off the Tachikomas in the end. I wonder if there will be a third segment and a 2nd rvival of the Tachikomas. Their AIs are said to be stored in the Internet afterall…

Wouldn’t it be cool to have robotic AIs? Or to have parts of people who have missing limbs recreated into fully functional robotic limbs? It’s kind of a scary thought, but I’d like to see that happen one day…
