My Boss’ Desk XD

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Mood: Irritated

Ah… So many things I have to do in the office. I go in one meeting to the next and now my throat is so sore. I wish there was 2 of me so that I can do everything in the set time…

My brain seemed to have been in some other place than in my head during one of the meetings I had with my boss. (I didn’t mean to really! ) I was playing with my camera phone absent-mindedly, and when she called for a break, I took this while she wasn’t looking:

You can still see her arm in the background while she types away, haha! I don’t think she knows she’s been caught on camera… well… part of her anyway.

That Hello Kitty thing is actually a tissue holder. Strange looking isn’t it? I remember her telling us where she bought it, but I dunno exactly where that place was…

I do hope she doesn’t find this blog… or I might get in trouble.

Should I Customize My PSP?

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

Mood: Sleepy

It’s quite early where I am right now… So my officemate had the bright idea to try and wake me up with this:It really looks cute I think… And it goes well with my Pink PSP after all, since it’s pinkish-purple.

People in the office have been talking about customizing their PSPs for a while. I don’t really want to put those sticker things on my PSP because I like it as it is… PINK! But I also fell the need to show the world that my PSP is unique from everyone else’s!

Hm-hm… More things to consider…

Onegai My Melody

Mood: Happy

I saw a really cute video of My Melody… I thought it was fan made until I saw this…

There’s a My Melody animation series created by TV Tokyo! Not only is My Melody the star, but her friend Kuromi-chan (also known as the “Evil My Melody” to some people) is there!

The girl on the left is My Melody’s owner if I’m not mistaken… Interesting though that girl on the girl on the right is the human version of Kuromi-chan! (this notion is based on some youtube videos I’ve seen, so I’m not really that sure… ) They’re both very cute though and I’d really like to have these toys.

I wonder where I can get this series..?

Hire the Employee of the Year!

Mood: Disbelief

I found something on the Internet that’s really interesting. I think Mom and Dad will be very interested in this.

Need temporary help on your company’s reception desk? One Japanese employment agency is suggesting you try recruiting a robot.

For just under 50,000 yen (240 pounds) a month, a fraction of the cost of a human temp, the PeopleStaff agency will despatch Hello Kitty Robo, a robotic receptionist capable of sensing a visitor’s presence, greeting him or her and holding simple conversations.

The Nagoya-based agency is also offering the services of Ifbot, an elderly-care robot that chats and poses riddles and arithmetical problems to train the brain and help avoid dementia. Spaceman-like Ifbot, which also quizzes people about their health, is aimed at hospitals and old peoples’ homes.

A spokeswoman for PeopleStaff said it would cost more than 300,000 yen a month to employ a person for this type of work, but warned that the robots were not capable of doing everything human employees can do.

The Shirt Says It All

Mood: Cheery

Here I am writing about Hello Kitty Stuff I find on the Interent, yet I always forget about the Kitty Shop in this website…

The idea they have for changing designs with terms of body temperature may or may not be such a good idea. I mean, for this pattern on the shirt I don’t mind it, but for the other two (pink bow and grey echo) it may be a bit much…

I mean, what if you were in a really cold place? Wouldn’t you have irregular patterns on your shirt?

Well, for whatever it’s worth… I like the pink one the best. Thebag and umbrella looks good too… Perfect for the summer…

Hinamatsuri!!! X3

Current Mood: Ecstatic!!!

Tomorrow is an important celebration in Japan. March 3 marks Hinamatsuri, the Japanese Dolls Festival! It’s the day when the girls in the family are celebrated and honored, so some people call it “Girl’s Day”!

And rightfully so! Girls need a special day after all!

Special dolls representing the marraige of the Emperor and his Empress will be put on display, and Oba-chan used to say that if the family forgets to keep the set before the night of March 4, the girl in the family will not marry before the next year…

Here is a picture of what we’ll have on display tomorrow. This isn’t exactly mine, but it’s the same one.

  • Dear Daniel - The Emperor of the Sanrio Royal Court
  • Hello Kitty - His majesty’s Empress
  • My Melody, Lala, and Kathy - the three Ladies of the Court
  • Pokopon, Pochacco, Kiki, Pekkle, and Tabo - the Court Musicians
  • Hangyodon - The Minister of the Right
  • Batz Maru - the Minister of the Left
  • Monkichi, Pop Pom Purin, and Keroppi - the Prince’s Footmen

I hope everyone has a good time tomorrow! I can’t wait..!
