…your friends will never fail at putting a smile on your face =)

Today is my birthday, and despite the day not going as one would expect, it still ends up special because of the love that my friends have showed me. Thank you for all those who remembered - despite me hiding the real date, those who greeted me - despite me not being able to stay in touch due to work and other stuff, and those who sent me birthday cards - I hope I didn’t miss thanking any one of you guys.

I wouldn’t miss having a birthday bash. No not me. Although unfortunate turn of events prevent me from doing so. I hope you guys understand. I’ll make it up sometime soon.

I know my mom doesn’t read this (gee, she doesn’t even know how to work the computer - sorry ma!),  but my biggest thanks goes to her… and my dad too. I know my mom and I have a squabble over my cat (let’s save that story for another time), but as a friend has told me, things will work out. I just have to remain stubborn - to keep my cat. My mom IS my mom. I won’t be here if not for her. And she’ll probably be the last person to be there for me even after everyone else is gone. I know we will work things out.
