Hello everyone! I apologize for taking a whole month off, I live in an area that has experianced high volumes of BAD weather over the last six weeks, so for today I’ll only focus on the important notes, rather than the weekly play by play, at least to get you caught up until my next post. Let’s get to it!

In Memoriam: Over the past week, Leah Maivia, the wife of the late Peter Maivia and grandmother of The Rock, passed away at the age of 81. Prayers go out to the family.

ROH: Due to financial setbacks, star booker Gabe Saplosky had to be let go yesterday. This comes as a devastating loss, as Gabe was well loved in Ring of Honor. Gabe also worked as Paul Heyman’s right hand man during the days of the original ECW, years before WWE’s buyout. Gabe worked in ROH as a booker, announcer, website manager and various other positions, and certainly this was a VERY difficult choice for Cary Silkin to make. No further comments at this time are available.

Cary, if it helps, my mom just put in her order. Hope to see you in Chicago!

Gabe, thank you so much for all your hard work. As a lifelong wrestling fan, I can tell you honestly you are the best booker the industry ever saw.

Prince Nana made a shocking appearance at ROH two nights ago, pleading for his job back. Nana was escorted out by security, and an announcement was made that Nana’s entrance was NOT part of the show, NOT part of the storyline, and NOT planned. No word yet on where ROH will go next with Nana.

After a whirlwind summer of Delirious having his heart broken by Daize Haze, which ended with Delirious joining Age of the Fall and poking Daizee in the head with a spike a few weeks back, the tensions have caused Daizee to snap.

This past weekend saw Daizee jump Rhett Titus and beat him silly, even when the cameras were off! Daizee is blaming Rhett for everything that went wrong with she and Delirious, EVEN THOUGH DAIZEE’S THE ONE WHO TOLD DELIRIOUS SHE DIDN’T WANT TO BE WITH HIM! Rhett’s reaction thus far is understandably confused…

Sailormoon: My good friend Codename Sailor Earth informs me that her site Moon Sisters has moved to http://www.moonsisters.org. The website, which is three and a half years old, was moved to HostMonster, due to Time Warner shutting down AOL Hometown, where the site sat since it’s opening. To celebrate the move, Moon Sisters has new wallpapers, and other new content.

TNA: Jeff Jarrett… don’t you ever leave us again!!!

Jeff Jarrett’s return to television has spawned a stellar fight with Kurt Angle, and a new voice on the side of the younger talent, a voice very much needed, as elder wrestlers Sting and Kevin Nash have tried their level best to muscle out true stars like Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles. Adding to Joe’s cause however is none other than Mick Foley, who recently bought a share in TNA, officially making him a new boss alongside Jeff Jarrett! The news was a welcome surprise, which should soon bear fruit.

WWE: Cyber Sunday saw it’s fair share of ups and downs. Here’s the post PPV rundown of events:

Shelton Benjamin retained the US Championship against R-Truth, formerly Ron Killings.

As of three weeks ago, WWE has changed the name of Sho Funaki to the horridly stereotypical “Kung Fu Naki”, ironic since Funaki doesn’t do Kung Fu. No word yet on how Funaki can put up with this abuse.

Rey Mysterio Jr beat Kane in a shocking No Holds Barred match!

Matt Hardy and Evan “Matt Sydal” Bourne put on a stellar performance, which saw Matt Hardy retain the ECW championship.

Miz and Morrison somehow beat Cryme Tyme. No doubt this will only fuel the rivalry these two teams have shared.

Honky Tonk Man had his first match in a WWE ring in several years by beating Santino Marella. However, due to an incompetant ref, the win was via DQ since Beth Phoenix tripped the beloved I.C. legend. This prompted ZSantino to scream at her, which annoyed Honk Tonk Man further, which caused Golddust and Rowdy Roddy Piper to come out, which resulted in a very LONG OVERDUE beat down, as the three legend beat the daylights out of Santino. THANK YOU!

Undertaker beat Big Show in a Last Man Standing match. Though the two obviously would have wanted something more exciting, the two put on a hardcore performance, taking each other to the limit.

Mickie James won a diva contest, and then was beaten down. NEXT!!

HHH was jobbed again, retaining the title against Jeff Hardy. NEXT!!

Batista beat Y2J Chris Jericho to win the WWE title.

AAA: X-pac Sean Waltman is set to return to Galavision airwaves soon as part of the new stable “De-Generation Mex”. X-pac still comes out to the DX theme.

Well that does it for now. As always stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

  1. Wow… sailromoon and wrestling. I never expected to see those two words in a single sentence. Interesting read though. ^^
