Hello everyone! Due to the amount of news, I will be condensing the WWE and TNA sections again. Also, I am spreading out all of the news into new sections, to speed up your reading time. Rest assured there’s a ton of news so let’s get to it!

Sailormoon: Wikipedia, IMDB and several other news sources are currently dealing with an unusual error. Apparently the Sailormoon S voice actress for Sailor Venus is gaining credit for another Senshi voice she did NOT do. Emilie-Claire Barlow, who also did voice work for the hit show

Total
Drama
Island, is being touted as the voice of Sailor Mars in the Sailormoon R movie, and again in the first and second seasons. Katie Griffin was actually Sailor Mars in the R movie, and in much of the English version of the series. It is unknown how the error occurred. On the upswing, Ms. Barlow is enjoying a successful Jazz career.

I hope you all are taking part in the Sailormoon campaign. If you want Sailormoon back, then pick up your free goodies on the Rasslinkitty how to save Sailormoon link on the blogroll. Just scroll to the right and down.

Legal news: Ashley, daughter of Ric Flair was arrested this week on charges of kicking a police officer. Apparently Ashley and her father Ric were involved in a fight with a young gentleman. Ric walked away with a black eye, and Ashley was carted off after being tasered. No word on how the fight began. In other legal news, Kurt Angle was acquitted of his 2007 DUI charge, due to lack of evidence.

Roster changes: Mick Foley has signed on for a short stint with TNA, Tomko is back part time with TNA, and Eddie “Primo”
Colon and his elder brother Carlito were moved to SmackDown, after gaining NO attention from Mike Adamle.

Debuts: Afa JR debuted at WWE Unforgiven as Manu. He has aligned himself with Ted and Cody, and was an FCW standout. Ron “The Truth” Killings is now R-Truth, and has resumed entertaining crowds as a member of the SmackDown roster. His last SmackDown appearance prior to his current stint was in 2001.

Injury report: C.M. Punk suffered a concussion at last Sunday’s PPV at the hands of Randy Orton. Randy kicked an already down Punk, trying to show up Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase JR. Also at Unforgiven, Chris Jericho suffered numerous welts, caused by an insane Shawn Michaels. Shawn sat on
Jericho in an unsanctioned match, and bloodied
Jericho with a belt.

Corrections: In my last post, I said that Shawn would be out 6 months. As it turns out, his triceps tear is miniscule, as is the injury near his elbow, and Shawn was able to work the Unforgiven PPV. He probably won’t miss too much time after all.

Title changes: CONGRATULATIONS to Matt Hardy on his win of the ECW title, and to Chris Jericho, who won the RAW title due to emergency booking and a quick pin.

Idiocy report: After watching the writing team of both WWE and TNA continually belittle the intelligence of both wrestlers and fans, I now debut this new category. It is my hope that this will shame certain people into shaping up.

Starting off the idiocy report will be WWE. For some strange reason, WWE insists upon keeping Mike Adamle as Raw GM. This past week, Adamle stopped the main event because he was board. The match was supposed to have been Batista vs.
Jericho, who was already injured, but midway through was changed to Batista vs.
Jericho and JBL, making no sense what so ever. But the idiocy didn’t stop there. Last Sunday, they chose to have Big Show re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-RE-start his feud with The Undertaker. Why? Because somebody in the back didn’t want loudmouth Vicky, to take one for the team. This is the umpteenth time Big Show has had a spontaneous feud with Undertaker, simply because they are both large.

Next up is TNA. The fans know Sting is a heel. The wrestlers know Sting is a heel. Management knows Sting is a heel. Sting thinks he’s a face. WHAT? Sting has spent the last three weeks coming out at the last minute to babble incoherently about how he thinks the young wrestlers suck and only the elders should run TNA. He thinks that the young ones owe him something. Everybody else on planet Earth knows that without young guys like A.J. and Joe, there wouldn’t BE a TNA for Sting to go peddling his pension problems to. This storyline involves several people, and yet nobody has been smart enough to book Sting vs. Joe & A.J. If anyone needs to be asking for respect, it should be A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe. Without these three men, TNA would not exist. Sting and Kevin Nash never truly learned respect when they were young, didn’t pick it up at TNA, but ought to learn it, if either of them wants to stay employed.

Also. May I ask why Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Maryse and Michelle McCool are employed at all, when none of them are wrestlers?
Bikini contests? Whiney outbursts? Trashy costume displays? Last time I looked, WWE and TNA were PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING companies, not babysitters for the mentally challenged. Boys, get your act together. They’re UGLY, and they’re frontal man grabbers aren’t even that big.

Rounding this off, I’d like to point out PWO. Yes, you guys are broke. That ain’t the problem. What is the problem is the fact that 94% of your roster can’t act. The storylines get dragged out as far as possible, but seldom are the matches booked. For example, Jason Bane and Cronus have been at war with each other for months, yet how many matches have they had together? How many times have I seen Bane vs. Cronus? Oh yeah, I haven’t. And why does Johnny Gargano only want to feud with the handicapped? Of ALL the wrestlers in PWO, you pick Gregory Iron? What’s he ever done to you? Dude seriously. Furthermore, whoever is booking this needs to pay less attention to his mullet, and more attention to his roster. That’s right, I’m looking at YOU.

WWE: Since my last post, Chris Jericho has become the new Raw champion, after Punk was taken out.
Jericho was chosen by Mike Adamle as a last minute replacement, and won via a rollup, bypassing a beating from JBL, Batista, Rey and Kane. However Adamle proved once more to be a moron, as he scheduled the concussion ridden Punk and the welt ridden
Jericho to face off for the belt in a steel cage, THIS Monday. You can watch the match live on
USA.

TNA: WELCOME BACK JEFF JARRETT!!! WE MISSED YOU!! Now go El Ka-bong Sting for me. Jeff returned Thursday, standing over the main entrance ramp, on a NEW ramp that sits on top of the old one. (Nice effects!) Samoa Joe braved the rafters long enough to tell Sting (who was in the ring) that he’d be going to the PPV, just not alone. Jeff appeared, amidst the roar of the crowd, guitar held high above his head.

ROH: The new movie “The Wrestler” which features Ring of Honor roster members swept audiences away at the film festival, and has now been picked up by Fox Searchlight for a national distribution! Read all about it here: http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117938197.html?categoryid=31&cs=1 and here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080909/ap_en_ot/film_the_wrestler

Currently, ROH is touring
Japan, and the roster is totally excited. There’s a daily article up of rohwrestling.com, documenting their progress. It’s a good read, and I highly recommend it.

Mixed Media: Lance Storm has a new commentary up on this past week’s TNA and WWE tapings. If you would like to read an intelligent summary of events, then I must recommend visiting http://www.stormwrestling.com/tvthoughts.html .

Hello everyone! This is going to be a short post, but it’s chocked full of news, so let’s get to it! (Especially for you Sailormoon fans!!)

Injury Report: Due to a personal oath I made with myself, I will not spoil tonight’s Raw taping. Raw was taped last night, because today is Labor Day. However, there is one injury I must report from tonight’s taping, and that is the re-injury of Shawn Michaels. During tonight’s broadcast, Shawn leaps off to attack Lance Cade and Chris Jericho, only to BOTCH the move and land horridly. As a result, Shawn has a torn triceps. Shawn will most likely have to pull out of Sunday’s PPV, and will be out of action for 6 months.
