Hello everyone! I needed an extra day off to process what happened at RAW and ECW this week. Last week was national “Writing Team Insults the Viewers Week” so now this week appears to be national “Bizzare Walkoffs” week. Let’s get to it!

WWE: Okay, the bizzare happenings started with the Crowning of Willaim Regal, who won the King of the Ring Tournament last week. Ken Kennedy made his return, and proceeded to insult Regal. Regal got into a great fist fight with Kennedy, with both men getting an odd pop from the crowd. But the power of being the new King, mixed with his usual feelings made Regal snap, and so during the main event ~ HHH vs. Randy Orton for HHH’s title, Regal ordered the camera crews to cut the Raw feed, even threatening to take out the main man in the truck if he didn’t. Raw went to an eerie black screen, and JR and King continued commentating until the Raw feed suddenly shifted into and episode of Law and Order. Fans say that after the tv feed was cut, Regal came out and stopped the match cold. HHH is still the champ, but nonetheless confused.

On ECW, the main event was Kane in a handicap match vs. Bam Neeley and Chavo, but just as Kane came out, new commentator Mike Adamle WALKED OUT. After the bell rang, a concerned Tazz also left the commentary booth, leaving the main event to carry on in utter silence. Kane won, even though he banged up his knee, but wrestlers and fans alike were more concerned with this bizzare walkoff. wwe.com reports that after Tazz left to find Adamle, Adamle walked into the parking lot, got in his car, and drove away. Tazz was unable to return to the booth in time for the closing bell.

Adamle’s walkoff comes as little shocking to Chicago fans, as this is not his first time! Adamle once commentated for baseball, and during a Cubs game in 1999, fans report he once more, walked off. The WGN crew of course had a replacement come out in time for the next inning, but unlike baseball announcers, ECW does NOT have ANY backups, leaving nobody to take over in case of an emergency, like this one. SmackDown and Raw each have backup talent that can take over for Cole, JR, King and now Mick Foley, but for some reason, ECW is left alone by WWE higher ups.

TNA: Good news and bad news surround TNA today, just hours before Impact is set to air. Bad news first: During this weeks tapings (which might cover the next few weeks), Petey Williams (Lil’ Petey Pump) suffered a broken orbital bone.

Good news: ROH and TNA are once again in talks to send talent to ROH again! ^_^

ROH: Mark Briscoe had succesful surgery to repair the damage left by Jimmy Jacobs having stabbed him in the arm, but as Mark’s doctor points out, the damage was WAaaaay worse than thought. Aside from the obvious wound, underneath this problem was a ton on exrta tiny wounds, left from other-non related matches and incidents. Mark’s tendons had to be pulled, and his whole arm was reconstructed, as pins and rods had to be placed in his arm. The full article is now up at rohwrestling.com.

Mixed Media: Lance Storm has an EXCELLENT commentary on Mike Adamle up at stormwrestling.com. A must read, especially now since hours after the posting, Adamle walked from ECW. In other news, Sid Vicious is set to wrestle for an upcoming NWA show!

Well, that’s that for now. As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!
