SOME of you have been helping ALOT with the Bring her back campaign, as numberous schools across Canada and America are allowing students to hold anime review stage plays, in which the theme from Sailormoon is sung aloud! WWE: Fans are threatening a boycott of next week’s ECW taping, due to Joey Styles having been replaced with Mike Adamle. The decision to replace Joey was made just prior to airtime, with NO further warning made out to Tazz or the rest of the ECW crew. Joey will now head off a new area of wwe.com, but his new role is still unkown as of this writing. Adamle butchered ECW’s airing, even calling The Brothers Of Destruction simply “Destruction Bros.” Adamle had a difficult time keeping up with simple names like C.M. PUNK, and even got ALL of the move names wrong. Now, most fans would have looked past this, if not for the fact that Mike Adamle has been with WWE since January AND SHOULD HAVE ALREADY KNOWN THE NAMES OF ALL THE WRESTLERS BY NOW, INCLUDING THEIR FINISHERS, SINCE HE’S BEEN ON EVERY SINGLE RAW TAPING OVER THE LAST FOUR MONTHS!!! Tazz did his best to ease tensions and welcome Mike, but with Joey gone, only Tazz, Tommy Dreamer, Nunzio, Steve Richards and the partially inactive Balls Mahoney remain on the current ECW as ECW originals, since everyone else was too young for the original East Coast show. For those of you who are too young to remember, Mike Adamle was the announcer for the original American Gladiators, which you can watch on ESPN Classic each week. Adamle has no prior knowledge of professional wrestling, with his earliest tie being that a former athlete that was featured on American Gladiators (the original), would later tag team with Billy Gunn (Kip James) and Chuck Palumbo as the fun loving “Rico”. Paul Heyman is said to be outraged over Vince’s hiring of Adamle, and has posted a funny new read here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/heyman/article1060395.ece Even non-Heyman fans are appriciating his wry sense of humor and thought provoking truths.

The ECW card was mild, with the best match of the night hands down being Undertaker and Kane~THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION, beating the daylights out of Miz and Morrison. ECW also had a diva contest for no apperant reason, with Kelly Kelly getting a cheap win. The crowd could not have cared less. Also, Mike Knox flun Colin Delaney’s body around like a rag doll. CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Deuce, Domino, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin in an 8 man tag. Adamle managed to call Jimmy Wang Yang “Wang-yang” and Kofi “Coffee”.

TNA: Okay, this was a confusing card. Bare with me here. Samoa Joe came out to give a victory heads up to the viewers at home that he intends to hold the title with honor, dignity, and respect. Scott Stiener came out with Rhocka Kahn and Little Petey Pump, and gave Petey the X Division title shot briefcase. He then bantered incoherently at Joe, that at the next PPV he wants a title shot. The came Kurt Angle, who informed Joe that due to the “win belt or quit” contract Joe signed, that Kurt gets a rematch next week. Okay. So then Jay Leathal cut a promo while waiting for So Cal Val to vacate the LADIES bathroom. As he finishes, SONJAY DUTT AND VAL come out of the LADIES room! O_o Um…. nevermind. So then Jay wins a brutal match against Johnny Devine, retaining the X Division Championship. But then Petey comes back and WHACKS Jay upside the head with the briefcase! After attacking Jay’s head several times, he screams and babbles incoherently, and then asks the ref Rudy Charles to ring the bell. Petey then drops Jay on his head one more time in a Canadian Destroyer, and 1-2-3 Petey is your new X Division champ. During both matches, Petey and Johnny were incoherent, and Johnny made several passes at Val. The brutality prompted Sonjay to come back and tend to his friend Jay, while Val cried REAL tears, unable to comprehend why these two had it in for Jay. LAX faced off against AJ Styles with Tomko, and Eric Young with Kaz in a three way for the tag belts. During the match, Eric left and out came Super Eric. Super Eric pinned AJ, and the ref counted it, even though AJ’s shoulders were up! Now this left Super Eric and Kaz the new title holders, but AJ thought “Hey wait a second! If Eric wants us to play along and believe that Eric and Super Eric are 2 different people, even though they exist in ONE body, then shouldn’t Super Eric’s run in count as outside interferrance???” AJ brought this to Cornette’s short attention span, and after much bickering out of ol’ Jimbo, Cornette asked Super Eric if he’s still Eric Young in there. He replied that he is NOT Eric Young, but instead Super Eric, Son of Mortar, Father of Zyon. So because Cornette can’t be bothered to follow comic book lore, he stripped everyone of the tag belts, and now the tag team titles are vacant. Still with me here? Rhyno and Christian won against Team 3D, and afterwards, Brother Ray and Devon got into a huge fight, which security had to break up. During the night, Cornette had a screaming match at the TNA Knockouts, screaming that they are spoiled brats, even though the women all have to share one teeney-weeney lil’ dressup room that’s cramped. Cornette made no sense, even screaming at faces like Roxxi. ODB even paused drinking for a moment to process Cornette’s babbles. Awesome Kong defeated Roxxi in an exciting match. Bobby Roode, Kip James and James Storm were defeated by Booker T, Matt Morgan and Sting. After the bout, Morgan and Sting had some words, boasting about “their” victory, which Booker T took exception to. Booker T stated that he didn’t NEED THEIR help, and that if Sting wants a crack at him, meet him in the ring next week.

ROH: Kevin Steen has some form of death wish, as he is once again throwing himself at Nigel McGuiness, first in a tag team match tonight, then one on one for the title in Chicago tomorrow. Last week was so intense after Nigel used the ropes to score a victory, that Steen had the nerve to even scream at ROH owner Cary Silkin! O_O; Steen wants Nigel’s belt, and doesn’t really care how he gets it at this point.
