Hello everyone! I just wanted to update you on the wrestling scene real quick:

ROH: Austin Aries has suffered from a head injury, and will be forced to pull out from the events for this week. Austin wants to return in time for next week’s shows in the Midwest, but ROH officials want him to rest, and come back ONLY if he’s at 100%. Get well soon Austin! WWE: Raw on Monday was lackluster, but mentioned two new matches for Backlash. Due to Cena and HHH winning their handicap matches against JBL and Randy Orton respectivley, The Raw title will be defended in a four way for the PPV. It will be Randy vs. HHH vs. Cena vs. JBL. Also due to confrontations in reguards to HBK’s contoversial win over Ric Flair at WM24, it will now be Batista vs. Shawn at Backlash. The Raw card also saw Beth Phoenix beat Maria, Santino Marella and Carlito score a miracle win over Bob Holly and Cody Rhodes, Brian Kendrick (Spanky) and Paul London beat Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, and Umaga beating Val Venis.

On the ECW side of things, Tuesday saw a wild crowd welcome a packed card. Chavo and Kane have signed their contract to sqaure off at Backlash for a rematch for the ECW title. As Kane and Chavo playfully bantered back and forth, Chavo said coily that from now on, he has someone looking out for him. With that, a large newcomer from OVW helped Chavo put Kane through the table. This has only angered Kane, and next week, he’s bringing his big brother The Undertaker to settle the score. Kofi Kingston won a surprise match against Domino, CM Punk beat Miz, after Morrison was thrown out by the ref, due to his lousey commentary, and Tommy Dreamer beat Colin delaney in a contract vs. carrer match. Tommy reluctantly pinned Calin, but has not given up on the kid getting a spot on ECW.
