Hello Everyone! There was no Sailormoon or TNA news today, but GOOD LORD the WWE and ROH news! Let’s get to it! In order to get to everything, I’m separating the ECW news.

WWE: Jeff Hardy has been suspended, following an alleged Wellness Policy violation. No further details are available at this time, prompting many to think that Jeff is on a long list of popular wrestlers being singled out, due to Jeff’s independance. Jeff Hardy will NOT be in the Money In The Bank Match at Wrestlemainia, as his suspension will last the next 60 days. Hence forth an emergency MITB qualification match was scheduled Tuesday for ECW, where CM Punk beat Big Daddy V via countout in Punk’s hometown of Chicago. Many of the wrestlers are said to be in disbelief and mild shock over Jeff’s suspension. In other news,  further reports from last night’s Raw taping indicate that the brawl between Floyd Mayweather’s crew and Big Show’s posse was completely UNPLANNED and UNSCRIPTED! I wrote about this incident in my post from yesterday, you can check it out for details on the tv side of things. Reports also indicate that the brawl was even more brutal than what was shown on tv, with the fight having spilled out around the ring and behind where the camera guys stood. Many people walked away punched and bruised, after Shane McMahon, who had also been attacked by one of Floyd’s men, got the crowd under control. Stay tuned…

ECW: ECW was HOT tonight, having aired live in Chicago, Illinois to a pro-Punk crowd! In a shocking move, the show opened with a Tag Team Title contest under extreme rules! The match was headlined by Tommy Dreamer (In a Cubs jersey) & Colin Delaney vs. Miz and Morrison. The match featured Colin lighting up the crowd with death defying acrobatics and hard hitting weapon based attacks, while Tommy went all old school, pulling the boys into vintage ECW style! The match only came to a screeching hault, when Miz put Tommy through a backwards table which was positioned only on the middle rope. A move so dumb, even a newbie would NEVER try. ECW GM Armando Alejandro Estrada (did I spell it right?) made an announcement for Wrestlemainia. Since there isn’t a #1 contender for Chavo’s ECW heavyweight title, there will be a 24 man battle royal at WM, the winner of which will face Chavo later that night for the belt. After this, Stevie Richards was tossed into a match with Khali. The match was so quick, I literally blinked through it. No, really, Stevie got in the ring, I blinked, Khali got the pinfall. After reviewing the tape, I can now see that Khali won via a powerbomb. Afterwards, Mike Knox got in the ring and sloppily attacked Stevie. It is uncertain where and even WHY this storyline is going, but one thing is for sure, it’s ugly. In a hot, high flying match, Kofi Kingston defeated Deuce with a Kofi Kick. Kofi’s star is only rising higher each week, with the crowd behind him every step of the way! Festus made an unexpected visit to ECW, and won a quick contest against Elijah Burke, after flipping the loudmouth quite a bit. As reported earlier, Punk won the emergency Money in the Bank match in a tug of war style match. V and Punk took turns dominating, but when V fell to the outside, the win was in Punk’s grasp. However, a win had to be coaxed out of the referee, who was having trouble counting to 10. CM Punk got his crowd roaring, and the crowd helped the ref learn to count in NORMAL PEOPLE TIME. Before Punk could celebrate, Matt Stryker barged into the ring, shouting his displeasure in the outcome. Matt was then greeted with The Go To Sleep, and as he promptly collapsed, Punk’s fans cheered loudly!

ROH: If you live in the areas where ROH is headed friday and Saturday, GET GOING NOW!! ROH on Friday and Saturday will be filming the MOST IMPORTANT SCENES from the upcoming Micky Rourke feature “The Wrestler”, about an older ex-wrestler, foucused on getting back in the ring, following a major health crisis. ROH is having a $10.00 sale on the tickets, so head straight to rohwrestling.com for details on correct night and time.

Wow that was alot! Well, as always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone! There isn’t any Sailormoon news today, but here’s the wrestling end of things:

WWE: The three hour Raw Wrestlemania Rewind was NOT a full WM card, as the people they wanted in tonight’s matches now work for TNA. :-P None the less, the show did have some HUGE moments after all. Congrats go out to Chris Jericho, who won an impossible match against Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental title. The match dragged on, and both men were hurting, but somehow, Jericho scored a pinfall victory. Nicolai Volkoff and Iron Shiek made a shocking return, but more shocking was the introduction of their opponents, Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda!! But just as the four were going to have one of the few WM rematches, they were rudely inturrupted by Jillian, who disrespected all four, and then made a poor attempt at singing. Rotunda then hoisted her up into the airplane spin, and spun her so fast that she tumbled all the way home. To the gentlemens’ dismay, their match was then cancelled for no good reason. The Undertaker decimated mark Henry in a casket match, Kane jobbed HHH, (poor guy, I like Kane!!) Umaga and Batista battled briefly in a non match pre-WM set up, Cena and HBK went to a no contest, when Randy “in need of a hobby” Orton bothered them, Finlay got himself DQ’ed in a bout with Ken Kennedy, when he used his “beatin’ stick” to take out his frustrations about JBL’s evil on the boy, CM Punk had a weird match that saw Edge cheat to a victory, but the most newsworthy story of the night happened to Big Show!!

It all started when Shane McMahon brought Big Show and Floyd Mayweather to the ring for a pre-WM weigh in. Big Show came in at a lean 441 pounds. (He’s 7′2.) Floyd sopping wet just barely clocks in at 159 pounds, making him only 9 pounds heavier than Spike Dudley. Floyd had come down to the ring with his posse~ mostly prominant and well to do rap stars and other celebrities. A video even aired earlier that night, showing off Floyd’s home, and his legit bags o’ money. The crowd began booing Floyd. Big Show said pretty much “So? That’s your posse eh? Well then, how about you meet my crew.” To wit, the outside of the ring was suddenly filled with heels, faces and tweeners, good guys, bad guys, from all 3 brands, all of whom had come to rally behind Big Show. The crowd followed the wrestlers. Floyd began taunting Big Show, flinging dollar bills at him, when Big Show tried to talk Floyd out of his March 30th beating, for Floyd’s health. Big Show took the bills Floyd tossed, and handed them over to the wrestlers at ringside. Floyd made it a point to harass Big Show, claiming that he could take Show’s jaw out. After much insipid squawking from Floyd, Big Show eventually had ENOUGH, picked Floyd up, and tossed him to the outside, where several wrestlers broke Floyd’s fall. However, when Floyd got back up, he was crying, holding his arm, wailing that something must be broken. At this development, Floyd’s posse began hitting the wrestlers, and an all out brawl took place, with even Shane being tossed down the ramp by one of Floyd’s angry crew members. The referees lost all control, as fists went flying at every turn, the commentary went silent, until Shane was able to get the rowdy crowd under control. Floyd now claims that his elbow is hurt. Doctors are still evaluating his condition.

TNA: In an update from yesterday’s PPV highlights, fans who saw the PPV live are all a buzz that Johnny Fairplay was in attendance with the mother of his daughter Piper. He was also with another friend from his survivor days, and was heard hassling some of the wrestlers, including Salinas, Brother Ray and D-von.

ROH: The Ring of Honor PPV is being moved for the first time, to a classic Sunday night showing! Check your listings, and in the meantime, the ROH page has been updated with not only the latest hot sale, but also the news area has added a link to Jimmy Jacobs’ blog. Check out his latest posting, as he comments on how he and Alex Shelley don’t get along!

Well, that does it for right now. As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello Everyone! Okay, so I’m about 3 hours late as I type this, but I do have all the hot news you need to hear about for wrestling, so here we go! (By the way, no Sailormoon news yet.)

WWE: From the lazy booking department, tonight will feature a 3 hour Raw, devoted to WrestleMania Rewinding, as current employees will be tossed into rematches from the last several WM events. Despite nagging injuries, some of which stemming from an all too brutal match against Chavo on last week’s ECW taping, CM Punk is still scheduled to be in action. This will be interesting to see if WWE can even place Punk on the Wrestlemania rewind card AT ALL, seeing as how the former ROH champion has only been on TWO Wrestlemania cards. What’s more, his first WM, he was only stationed as a backup gangster for John Cena, and was not allowed to compete. CM Punk’s second appearance in WM history saw him in a Money In The Bank match against The Hardy Boyz, Finlay, Ken Kennedy, Edge, Randy Orton and current TNA STAR~ Booker T, who was brought to the ring by new TNA STAR~ Sharmell. With this said, Punk can NOT be in a Wrestlemania Rewind match, since one of his five opponents is in TNA. Besides, it was a Money In The Bank match, which Kennedy won, meaning that the winner of the bout gets a title shot, which he can use at ANY time within one year of his match. Once again, the booking dept. is absent.

TNA: The PPV aired to a hot crowd in  Norfolk, Virginia Sunday night. Fans are reporting that prior to the three hour spectacle, some were able to get autographs from Jay Leathal and Traci Brooks for $10, with proceeds going to charity. Aww! That’s cool. :-) Here are the results:

LAX won the #1 Tag team title contendership in a bout against The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) and the Rock n’ Rave Connection (Jimmy Rave & Lance Hoyt), Jay Leathal beat Petey Williams with help from So Cal Val, who was then chased by Rocka Kahn, Eric Young became Super Eric and he teamed with Kaz to beat Rellik and Black Reign, Awesome Kong dominates spectacularly, defeating Gail Kim and ODB,
Shark Boy and Curry Man beat Team 3D in a Fish Market Street fight, however, due to a bet made with Cornette over their collective size, Brother Ray and D-Von may not have to be weighed before each match anymore. Impact will have more on this this Thursday.
Due to Payton’s help, Bobby Roode won a strap match against Booker T, with the stipulation that Payton would be allowed to whip Traci Brooks 10 times upon Bobby’s win. A distraught Booker T was forcefully manhandled away from the ring by security, and then Payton delivered her 10 lashes, even hitting Traci’s ear. But when the abuse was supposedly over, Bobby snatched the strap and whipped Traci himself. However, just as he was about to become more violent, Booker T’s wife Sharmell appeared out of the clear blue sky, and began whipping Bobby with her own strap! Security tried in vain to subdue the pint-sized former WCW valet, only to be strapped away themselves. Jim Cornette even made an attempt, and Sharmell was quick to whip the TNA match maker aside. Eventually she was restrained by a very frightened security team. Rhyno beat James Storm in an Elevation X match, bringing Rhyno’s E-X score to 2-0. James had been sober throughout the frightening match, but ultimately lost his grip, and crashed through a table. EMT’s arrived shortly there after to collect him. Samoa Joe, Christian and Kevin Nash defeated Kurt Angle, Tomko and AJ Styles in a six sides o’ steel cage match when Tomko got too cocky, and was quickly made to tap out by Samoa Joe! Although Karen Angle was absent from the PPV, Jeremy Borash delivered a message to AJ, declaring that Karen has an announcement planned for Thursday’s Impact.

ROH: DDT Promotion’s Kota Ibushi is all set for his mid-April tour of Ring Of Honor! One of Japan’s hottest prospects, Ibushi-san will spread out his tour over a week or so, in several matches to be fought in several cities! To find out where Ibushi-san will wrestle in the US, head on over to rohwrestling.com.

Mixed Media: A&E Biography this week is sporatically playing wrestling documentaries throughout March. Sunday saw the edited version of “The Unreal Story Of professional Wrestling”, a documentary that was filmed in the late 1990’s, lists WCW and WWF as the only two major promotions, and despite evidence of ACTUAL injuries, questions the validity of the SPORT. Anyone who doubts wrestling should take their inqueries to Mick Foley, Terry Funk, Sabu, Rhyno, Samoa Joe, or any other sane, anti-suck-up wrestler. There should be about One hundred million of them at least, in the United States. For everyone else who’s smart enough to know when a wrestler needs EMT’s legitimately, can watch this show ONLY for the spots that have wrestlers on it, and NOT for the “experts” who claim they know so much about sports, yet have NEVER even done anything more physical than to tie their shoes.

Are the storylines real? Usually no. Is the action real? YES. That’s REALLY a guy bleeding in the ring. That’s REALLY a guy’s spine hitting the canvas at 25 mph. They don’t make blood packets or color changing bruise makeup. It’s real. I dare any non believer to buy a ticket to an ROH event, and sit butt up against the ring. Go ahead. Now wait for the first guy who’s face is turning blue to lean over you. Watch his eyes. Check his cuts. Feel like being stupid? Doubt it now? No? Well then, I rest my case.

And that does it for right now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone! After yesterday’s HUGE news, today was actually quiet. However, TNA has a PPV this evening, so expect another HUGE go of things right here Sunday-into-Monday.

Happy Daylinght Savings ending for those of you observing it today. Set your clocks back one hour today, as it’s Spring forward time.

WWE: SmackDown aired sporatically amongst various regions Friday and Saturday, due to basketball games which dominated the early weekend. Speedy recovery goes out to former WCW and ROH star Jamie Knoble, after a brutal match with Big Show. Jamie had protested SmackDown GM Vickie’s ill-thought booking, but was sent in anyway. During the bout, Big Show delivered several hard chops, and out of fear, Jamie low-blowed Show, causing him an immediate DQ. However, it’s not nice to low-blow somebody, so Show began to punish Jamie. He placed Jamie standing up against the turnbuckles, chopped him, and then backhanded Jamie’s ribs, possible cracking one, as Jamie began coughing up blood, and went into convoulsion-esque-shock. Officials had to be very careful in hoisitng Jamie to saftey, while Big Show cut a promo, to avert the crowd’s attentions. Also, Batista was counted out unfairly in a US Title match with MVP, so next week, MVP will once more put his United States Championship on the line against Batista in a no holds barred contest. Speaking of contests, WWE is holding a bizarre one, proving that the booking team is out to lunch. For the next several weeks, Victoria, Cherry, Michelle, and non-wrestlers Eva Torres and Maryse will square off in different pagents, to determine a “top diva” for SmackDown. The winner will recive a custom made motorcycle. This week was swimsuits, but Victoria was forced to act goofy by the manegment. (Poor Victoria, I like her!) Cherry however, seemed to have the crowd behind her, as the former OVW starlet bashfully showed off a polka dotted bikini. The winner will be announced next week, pending text votes from fans. The Undertaker lost a match to Edge and his team, via usually neglectful referee Nick Patrick. Nick, a former WCW ref and second generation star, payed little attention to Edge’s blatent tricks. Also, Kane beat the snot out of Chuck Palumbo. Kane first beat Chuck in an August 2001 Raw taping, that saw Chuck and Sean O’Haire get creamed by The Undertaker and Kane in a steel cage. Speaking of cages, next week, for no apperant reason, Ric Flair will face Edge and his team in the 16 ft structure. Shannon Moore defeated Deuce, and Festus, CM Punk and Jesse, defeated Chavo, Miz and Morrison.

TNA: Rumors of his departure seem to be true, as Raven’s profile has been officially removed from TNA’s official site.

Well, shockingly that’s it for right now. Come back after midnight for the latest scoop! As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can.

The Rasslinkitty

Hello everyone! Sorry for the two days off, but there wasn’t much news then! But today will more than make up for that, so let’s get to it!

Sailormoon: Okay everyone, don’t be alarmed, this technically has VERY little to do with Sailormoon, I just want to point out how Toei works, so you know what we’re up against. Okay? Brace yourself. Toei and Disney are partnering in a new project to develop a series aimed at Asian children ages 3-13 in a new series called “Fireball”. Fireball will be one of at least three non-Mickey/non-Princess/non-Pixar projects on the horizon. Disney has reported little success in Japan with the dubbing of such titles as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, but Disney is impressed with Toei Animation, which is owned by Toei~ the movie company responsible for such hits as Godzilla (Gojira) and Gamura. This is the first time in several years that Toei has had a working relationship with Disney, since the then Disney operated DiC had Sailormoon from 1994/1995 to 2000. Although Disney had a memorable run with Sailormoon, even co-producing all three Sailormoon movies with Pioneer/Geneon, the only Toei anime Disney is mainly concerned with at this time is Digimon, which is currently airing new episodes on Toon Disney’s Jetix block, with another new episode airing Monday.

WWE: Since several markets are complaining that the NBA has once again had SmackDown! moved, I will post-pone results until Saturday or Sunday. Gomen Nasai!

TNA: Well! This is an interesting week. Judas Mesias aka Ricky Banderas is said to be leaving TNA soon. Mesias, who’s group Secta de Mesias dominates most of AAA’s storylines has promised to fufill any and all obligations to TNA, before leaving. It is unclear when his final taping is, as he may just stick around for a PPV or two. Speaking of which, TNA has a PPV this Sunday, which will see Amazing Kong put her belt on the line against Gail Kim and ODB. Impact this week was mostly exhibition matches with last minute PPV tie-ins. Samoa Joe lost an odd first blood match to Tomko when Tomko cut Joe’s arm with a chair, AJ Styles either lost or jobbed to Kevin Nash, depending upon your viewpoint, and Christian Cage won by a referee whim in a cage match against Kurt Angle. Because the two had fallen to the outside at the exact same time, TNA decided that instead of looking at the tape the way a SANE manegment team would, that they would instead leave it up to much disliked ref Earl Hebner. Earl for once sided with the near-face Christian, but Christian would soon succumb to a beatdown from Kurt, AJ and Tomko. Booker T and Bobby Roode will be forced into a strap match at the PPV, where the winner’s valet can whip the other valet after the bout. (Can you hear the NAACP dialing TNA yet?) In a fun battle royal, Curry Man won the chance to name the stipulation for his match Sunday. However, since he only speaks Japanese, TNA let Shark Boy steal Curry Man’s winnings, and let Shark Boy name the stipulation in the match against Team 3D~ A Fish Market Street Fight. (Yeah, I know…) Rhyno defeated Mesias, and then smashed to bits James Storm’s belt, prompting James to fight Rhyno as Jackie Moore looked on. Sunday, the two will be in the WORST most SCARIEST MATCH on the planet, the Elevation X match. There, the two will duke it out 15 feet high on two miniscule pieces of scaffolding, until somebody falls off. Last year saw Rhyno win the same match against AJ Styles, as frightened fans and wrestlers held their breath, praying that both men would live after the match. This match type should be BANNED from wrestling, as the stakes are too high. It’s bad enough to fall from a steel cage, but the Elevation X setup is too small even for a small child to walk on, let alone fight on. And with Jame’s klutziness and Rhyno’s previous life threatening injuries, one can only wonder where TNA’s booking dept. is?? Also, Kong defeated Salinas in a quick bout, following Salinas’s partners Homicide and Hernandez flipping Saeed’s dress. Kong said through a letter that she has no beef with the gorgeous Salinas, and even apologized for the oncoming brutality before the match. (Ain’t she sweet? ^_^) And also, it was announced that LAX will face off against Jimmy Rave and Lance Hoyt, and The Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Team #1 contenders spot, and Rellik and Black Reign will team up against Kaz and Eric Young. Also, Matt Morgan will soon be joining American Gladiators if all goes well. If he accepts the offer, this will be a major development, as American Gladiators is currently aired on NBC, the same network that on occasion airs WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, and is also owned by the same people who own USA, where Raw is aired! O_O

Did you know that Viacom owns both Universal Studios (where Impact has been filmed) and the NBC/USA/SciFi networks? (Home to Raw and ECW!) Did you also know that in 1996 and 1997, USA had a kids block that aired Sailor Moon, Sonic, Super Mario Bros. and Mighty Max? The WWE-TNA-Sailor Moon-Sega-Nintendo-DIC connection is SCARY, is it not? (Sailormoon, the first three Sonic series and Super Mario Bros. were all courtesy of DiC at that time, for those of you keeping score.)

ROH: The ROH PPV debuts this weekend!! Depending upon which PPV provider you have, this blockbuster event will only be between $9.95 and $14.95, so don’t miss out! Also, next week will see Go Shiozaki, Delirious, Necro Butcher, Davey Richards, Tyler Black, Claudio Castagnoli, Erick Stevens and Brent Albright in a weekend tournament, where the winner will face Nigel McGuiness for the ROH world heavyweight title. To get the full and accurate details on who’s facing whom and on what night and town, PLEASE visit rohwrestling.com! For Florida fans, while you are at rohwrestling.com, don’t forget to check out details on ROH’s springtime events for Wrestlemania weekend.

Hulk Hogan Newz: Okay, normally since he doesn’t belong to any one company, I would usually stick his news in the “Mixed Media” column, but since he’s had a rough time of things, he can have his own segment for today. Estranged spouse Linda Hogan/Bollea, wnats a court order, preventing the former WWF/WWE champion from even mentioning their divorce to second child Nick. Linda claims that Hulk is filling Nick’s head with secret info on the divorce, and may be poisoning the law breaking son. No proof has been seen officially, but Linda appears to want what’s best for the boy. Hulk does too, but perhaps the soon to be ex couple have alternate ideas on the matter. In the meantime, Hulk is allegedly working on a new project with Eric Bichoff. Rumors have been flying as to what this might be, but the only thing solidified at the moment seems to be that Eric and Hulk are looking for the right TV network.

Mixed Media: ESPN’s AWA showings are gaining a great fan following, with fans of all ages staying up late to watch the 1986 matches with the legendary greats. Young fans love seeing then  27 year olds Martty Janetty, and his then tag team partner The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, long before Shawn’s tatoos, long hair extensions and gravely voice, while older, more nostalgic fans love seeing Former TNA and WCW personalities Larry Zybisco and Scott Hall during much different times. Younger fans may not recognize Scott with thick brown hair, puffy muscles or with a Magnum P.I. Mustache, nor would they recognize Larry with his poofy yellow mullet, as most people now see Larry on occasion with short, dark gray hair. Fans who are parents or older siblings, are introducing such beloved stars like the late King Kong Broody, and Buddy Rose, as well as reviled heel Col. DeBeers~ who was also in UWF, to generations that were not even born yet, when these greats were the talk of the town. AWA features many famous superstars, when they were just barely more than rookies, and this week was filled with tapings documenting the feud between Larry Zybisco and the team of Scott Hall and the late Curt Hennig, and even showed the late Sherri Martel, and for just a few moments, a shy little rookie named Leon White~better known as Big Van Vader! This was some time before Vader had his first gimmick as Baby Bull. (Awww!)

Well that’s that for right now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone! It’s been just a mere 18 hours since my last post, and still no news on the Sailormoon front. It’s the waiting game, I know. Bear with me everyone!

WWE: ECW may be short one top star after tonight’s taping. CM Punk faced off against Chavo for the ECW title. But unfourtunately, this match turned out to be UGLY. Punk’s main downfall came early in the match, when as he was leaping to the top rope from the outside, Chavo pushed him, causing Punk’s feet to trip up between the ropes, and the Chicago native screamed as he landed on the side of his head. It was several minutes before Punk was able to get back in the ring. From then on, Chavo targeted Punk’s bad knee, and the rest of the match featured overshot jumps and botched finishers, as Punk has very BADLY hurt. No word yet on his condition, but hopefully SOMEONE might have POSSIBLY gotten the boy help, as shamefully AGAIN, referee Scott Armstrong did NOTHING to help either man. Scott is one of four older brothers to TNA star BG James, and is one of five sons of Bullet Bob Armstrong. Scott often times will just stand there, paying more attention to his nails than the match, and his calls are usually unfounded. Scott has no clue about when a man needs the EMT’s, so too many injured ECW stars end up on the of duty roster due to negligence. ECW also saw a confused Kane, beat up James Curtis in a quck squash match, while Chuck Palumbo drove his bike around the ring. Since Chuck hasn’t wrestled Kane since 2001, nobody knows why Chuck would drop his storyline with Jamie Knoble, and bother The Big Red Machine. Also, Shelton benjamin ended Stevie Richards short winning streak, working on Stevie’s arms during the whole bout. And Colin Delaney got himself and Tommy Dreamer DQ’ed, when he SNAPPED, wielding a chair against Miz and Morrison. A boy can only take so much! Colin and Tommy will challenge for the belts next week.

TNA: In a WCW vs. WWF like event, TNA is allowing several of their staff to buy tickets to the WWE Hall Of Fame special Wrestlemania weekend. While most of the undisclosed wrestlers are going out of support of Ric Flair and Mae Young’s long awaited inductions, at least one or two will be going as spies. Turnabout’s fair play, WWE. And as long as they pay their tickets, things should pan out just fine, right? (Who am I kidding?)

ROH: Congratulations are in order for Takeshi Morishima! While in his native country of Japan, Morishima-sama picked up the legendary GHC heavyweight title last weekend. Morishima-sama is the first man EVER to hold BOTH the ROH and GHC titles!! Also, after a breathtaking match against GHC Heavyweight Tag Camps Takashi Suguira and Naomichi Marufuji, The Briscoe Bros. are ready for a rematch with The Age Of The Fall. They want it at the next PPV taping March 16th, but it is unclear who they will face off with as Tyler Black and Necro Butcher are in a tournament to see who will challenge Nigel for the belt that same night. Rest assured, fans will be given the fight of their lives! March 14, 15 and 16th will be a special weekend as ROH films not only a PPV, but also parts of the upcoming movie “The Wrestler”, if you are in the area… BUY YOUR TICKETS AND SEE!! Check Rohwrestling.com for further details! Also that weekend, Kevin Steen will accept the challenge for a rematch from Joey Matthews. Joey, formally known as Mercury in WWE, has had an impossible time earning anyone’s respect in any organization, due to his “Better than u” attitude problems. Steen is on a long list of people who don’t like him, and welcomes the challenge.

Well that does it once again. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can.

Hello everyone! Nothing new on the Sailormoon or TNA front, so let’s get to today’s news.

WWE: WWE has released former TNA and IWA Puerto Rico star Apolo, and former ROH dark match talent Silas Young. Apolo’s release may be due to his legal woes, but Silas’s shocking release may be blamed on downsizing due to the merge of wrestlers from OVW to FCW. Silas is a bright young athlete, who was seen briefly jobbing Miz a few months ago in ECW. Yes, you read that right, Silas threw the match for Miz. With that being said, Silas will have no trouble finding work. Will an ROH return be in the works? In other news, Mae Young will FINALLY be inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Mae, a former NWA Women’s champion is a legendary wrestler known for her scandelous antics and her extra strong style. Mae can beat a man of any age and of any size at nearly any match, and even intimidates Team 3D! Even in her 80’s, Mae still competes when she feels like it. In lesser news, Raw was broadcast live via HD from a lukewarm Indionapolis crowd Monday. William Regal decided to take the next 3 weeks off (Though he will still attend shows and sit in for commentary) and will give Cena, HHH and Randy Orton each one episode of Raw to book. It was Cena’s turn last night, so he booked HHH and Randy in a match that ended in a DQ. (Cena got invoulved.) Also, Finlay made an appearance, confirming everything JBL said, saying that Hornswoggle McMahon is actually Hornswoggle Finlay, and that the boy had NO CLUE what was going on. (That makes the kid’s 1st 6 months hard to watch now.) Finaly confirmed he had conspired against Vince McMahon with the aid of Vince’s son Shane, daughter Stephanie and wife Linda. However, Finaly’s night took a turn for the evil when JBL appeared via sattelite, attacking Hornswoggle. As the lights went out in Hornswoggle’s room, all you could hear was the boy crying and yelling. Although fans are still taking this as storyline only, the FACT remains that Hornswoggle still can’t move his right side like he used to, and he REALLY IS hurt badly. (Just want you to know.) Jericho brought back the Highlight Reel, joking that his talk show was what spawned all the fake shows he had to sit through during his time off. “Carlito’s Cabana…. The Cutting Edge, Are you Smarter than a Snitsky, Cooking with Goldberg AND ALL THE REST” he joked. Jericho then brought on Jeff Hardy, and the two agreed that until Wrestlemania is over, the two are not friends, but enemies. The segment ended with Jeff kicking Jericho and giving him the Twist Of Fate. Though the commentary freaked out, Y2J and Jeff seem to be having fun with this playful rivalry. It was decided in a match agaisnt Cody Rhodes that Carlito will be joining Y2J and Jeff, as well as Kennedy and Shelton in the Money in the Bank match. Carlito is featured in a new commercial, in which he has a freakish encounter with some demonic seagulls. Speaking of freakouts, Maria attempted to reveal her Playboy cover, only to find Santino’s head plastered all over it in very um… “special” positions. :-O Santino argued that Maria was as good as his property, and that he forbids the cover shoot. Maria, snapped! Maria informed Santino that the shoot was done A LONG TIME AGO, and that the decision was HERS, not his. He argued that she must be on her peiod, claiming that women at that time of the month are crazy and stupid. This boarheaded and stupid comment was greeted by a quick fist from Jerry “The King” Lawler. Maria at WrestleMania will face off in a ladies lumberjack match, M.C.’d by none other than Snoop Dogg. In other quick fist news, Big Show laid to waste an MMA fighter, Brandon “The Thrill” Hill. Hill was knocked out and then tossed out. Two times during Raw, Floyd Mayweather attempted in vain to cut a promo against Big Show. Floyd has a hard time keeping up with the topic of conversation, and came accross as a weird fanboy with ladies makeup. The crowd once again rallied behind the “alleged heel” Big Show.

ROH: ROH booker Gabe mentioned that this week’s PPV was one of the best tapings ROH has produced since at least the beggining of the year. Since ALL ROH shows are spectacular, hearing Gabe say this means that this show is nothing short of incredible! The PPV debuts on television March 7th. PLEASE check your local listings for time and channel, as you can’t miss this! The show is headlined by the explosive bout between Austin Aries and Nigel McGuinness, both of whom have been facing some frustrating events! Speaking of talent, please check your lisitngs also for an upcoming episode of MTV’s Made, as former/returning stars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, alongside ROH alumni and TNA star Samoa Joe will be featured training a young boy to become a wrestler! Their student is a young teenager, who wants to become the hero he knows he can be, by achieving his dreams and finding a place in the world.

Mixed Media: Bill Goldberg is said to be launching a new coffe drink titled Jackhamer Java!

Well that does it for now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until later!

Hello Everyone! Well Sunday was considered a rest day for the world, so today’s news is short. This is good. An overworked wrestler is an injured one. Rest=Strength.

Sailormoon: I have some good news for you! Funimation is rereleasing SlayerS onto digitally restored DVD. If they can scoop SlayerS up, then they might scoop up Sailormoon, and did I mention that Funimation has a better working relationship with Toei than Cloverway did? ^_^ Toei even coughed up ALL 13 DBZ movies for Funimation, so keep that in mind as talks keep going. Let’s all pray for Sailormoon uncensored for television! ^u^

ROH: After much coaxing from Julius Smokes, the shy Jigsaw unmasked near the end of the latest video wire! Gone is the red and black mask, revealing a thin boy with dark hair, and a new lease on life. Exactly how this will affect him his next match remains unseen, but it appears as though Jigsaw has come out of his shell, and is more than ready to shine! Also of note in this week’s video wire, Ausitn Aries as you know, had recived an offer from The Age of The Fall, as Lacey, Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black extended a seemingly warm olive branch, as they say they understand Austin’s recent frustrations, but Austin also recived attention from Sunny! Tammy “Sunny” Sytch came down to the ring to Eric Bichoff’s WCW theme (AC/DC’s Back In Black), and told Austin that she could offer him things “he ain’t never had before”. If looks could kill! Lacey cocked her head from side to side, as Jacobs and Tyler both agreed that Sunny isn’t as wholesome as she thinks she is. While the two sides argued, Austin politely took several steps away from Sunny, and told all four wrestlers that he needed time to mull it all over. Austin may still feel comfortable as a singles competitior, but it’s well known that Austin is a well loved wrestler among his peers. Also, Nigel reminded fans that he cares not what you think of him (This is directed at you snobs who jeered him when the man freaking got HURT and needed SURGERY.) and he also issued a warning to other wrestlers, saying that you will never get that belt off of him without a SERIOUS bludgening.    (That really goes without saying. His lariat is the stuff of legend and he wrestles like mad!)

Well, shockingly that about does it. If you have a good processor, I highly recommend watching the ROH video wire, if you haven’t yet. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

WWE March 02, 2008Okay, if I hit the button right, you should see somewhere on today’s blog an ACTUAL image taken from wwe.com! Apperantly, WWE has been keeping a closer eye on it’s competitors than originally thought. Fist they were sending their scouters to ROH events, and now they are posting news on TNA, ROH and Chikara! What seems like friendly publicity is probably one of Vince’s shcemes for another war. With so many Chikara and ROH talent already scooped up by WWE, it’s obvious that Vince feels his company is lacking, so what better way to save SmackDown and Raw, then to abduct the competition’s load? Hence Vince now having C.M. Punk, Colt Cabana, Matt Sydal, Yang, Silas Young, Colin Olsen and others. Proof positive of course that ROH has most of the best stars you’ll see today, but still… VINCE BACK OFF DUDE!! And give Kane a title shot already, what’s wrong with you?

Sailormoon: Talks are still ongoing. In the meantime, don’t forget to search Google and Ebay for the DVDs already out there. You NEED the uncensored cut, and also, these will become even more valuable should a new North American deal be reached.

WWE: Monday will see Big Show face off against an un-named fighter. Will this person be a boxer, MMA star, UFC opponent or an indy kid? Check in to see!

TNA: Curry Man maintains a strong following with the fans. Recently, he has started growing out his hair, you can see his long locks poking through his mask. Curry Man not only fits into the current “goofy” style TNA is aiming for, but he also does well to take the fans’ minds off of the dissapearance of several more prominant wrestlers like ROH legend Christopher Daniels. (LOL, get it??)

ROH: Ring of Honor has made a bold stand against Larry Sweeney by pulling all footage of his attack on Allison Danger from the newswire! ROH known for it’s hardcore~pure style and their openness and freedom has found Larry’s actions to be repulsive at best. Nobody is talking about exactly what he said, did, or even if it will make the DVD or not, but one thing is certain, whatever he did was HORRIBLE!!
(I mean wow, even AOTF got away with the blood edit in September…)

PWO: ECW’s Colin Delaney aka Colin Olsen teamed with his brother Jimmy to face off against Josh Prohibition and Johnny Gargano. Gargano and Prohibition used their usual underhanded tricks to score a win. Gargano is one of the most despised wrestlers to have come out of Ohio, as Gargano’s main opponents seem to be the handicapped. On numberous occasions, he has been defeated by Gregory Irons~ A kid with real brain damage and a deformed arm, Zach Gowen~ who has one leg, and even their resident homeless guy. Gargano’s best match was back in August when Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin took pity on the wannabe star, and jobbed him. Gargano had no clue they threw the match. In other news, one of PWO’s main commentators, Jamie Scott has been suspended due to his over the top, evil commentary. He was on loan to PWO through Sports Time Ohio, but the network found his actions to be too controversial, so his voice this week was dubbed out! Scott’s commentary has been criticized for being judgemental, sexist, and almost racist at one point, and so PWO for now will only have one man on commentary.

AAA: This weekend’s taping saw ROH and Noah sensations Naomichi Marufuji and Takeshi Morishima in action! Morishima-sama teamed with Kenzo Suzuki and Abismo Negro, while Marufuji-san teamed with Charly Manson and Chessman. Any time the ROH stars entered the ring, the match’s intensity picked up, and fans were treated to a show of stamina. Near the end of the match though, Morishima turned on Kenzo, when the bossy Kenzo accidently bumped Morishima in the head. Fans cheered wildly as Morishima helped Marufuji score then pinfall. After the match, some of AAA’s resident heels attempted their usual boring pile in to stop Morishima, but Morishima got the crowd going by clocking each heel but good! Morishima walked away with an even bigger fanbase than before, and Marufuji walked away with a new friend in Charly.

Mixed Media: ROH, WSX and PWO star M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, Nosawa and many more are gearing up for XPW’s revival! It’s coming soon, so stay tuned!!

Wow that was alot, wasn’t it folks? Well as always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello Everyone! Not much going on in Sailormoon news, so today’s post will be wrestling related, okay?

WWE: SmackDown! saw a WSX crossover as Joey Ryan from That 70’s Team was knocked out by the Big Show in a handicap match. Ryan had been teamed with Jay Garland in the brutal bout, which ended when  Big Show closed his hand into a near fist, and sent Ryan into Lala Land. Ryan is a Pro Wrestling Guerilla star, who was featured heavily in WSX as an asthmatic wrestler, who usually keeps his inhaler in his tights. Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore defeated Deuce and Domino, after Yang hit a second moonsault. In a heated back and forth contest, Chuck Palumbo defeated Jamie Knoble via pinfall. Although they both technically count as heels, both men have been getting cheers from the fans, while Michelle McCool has been recieving notable boos. Bautista and Kane defeated Khali and MVP in a grueling match. Miz and Morrison made a rookie mistake, by editing various promos Jesse and Festus had cut when they debuted, to make Jesse seem like a gay alien abductee. Festus then cleaned house and mopped the floor with Miz and Morrison. Balls Mahoney made a surprise appearance, only to job Big Daddy V. (Why can’t they have a fair and hardcore match for Balls? I wanna see ORIGINAL ECW!!) The nonsense was cut short, when The Undertaker came down to the ring, beat them both, and then informed Edge that it was now time for Edge to send someone out to face him. Edge sent Zach Ryder. Zach, although having plenty of help, was still decimated by the Undertaker. Taker put Zach in the new version of the triangle hold, made Zach bleed, and then Taker lapped up the kid’s blood.

TNA: TNA claim that this Thursday will see a brand new segment on the show, highlighting wrestlers at home. Stay tuned…

ROH: Check your PPV listings on March 7th for the new ROH PPV Rising Above! The show is highlighted by Nigel McGuiness vs. Austin Aries for the title, and also features Delirious vs. Brent Albright, Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima, and much much more!

Mixed Media: Be sure to keep checking every night between 12-2 am on ESPN Classic, as the AWA show has been moving around since it’s debut Thursday. The privious episode featured the late Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and his dad Larry “The Ax” Hennig. Each taping features some of the most popular and legendary wrestlers from when they were just indy kids! Thursday’s taping featured Shawn Michales and Martty Janetty, before they were a tag team, and also showed briefly a rookie Vader! In other news, Hulk Hogan’s nephew King Dave Bollea, wants Floyd Mayweather to give up his match with Big Show and face him instead. Hulk’s nephew has no faith in wrestling, preferring the less than honorable MMA style of fighting until somebdy can’t move anymore.

Well that does it for now. As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!
