Hello everyone! News came in plenty steady today, so you will have enough to read! Let’s get to it:

Sailormoon: Several news outlets including Yahoo are reporting that Japan has a new official Anime Ambassador in Doraemon! Doraemon will hopefully liven up worldwide interest in anime, as well as greet new countires with a friendly outlook. With that said, Sailormoon and many other titles could see a revival of sorts! Hopefully NOT like what’s been crassly done to Speed Racer, but nonetheless, here’s a link to this happy new story, which even refrences Sailor Moon herself: http://inventorspot.com/articles/anime_star_doraemon_ appointed_japans_cultural_ambassador_11865 On a related note, I have started a NEW campaign to bring Sailormoon back! Follow the directions on my latest post : http://blog.sanriotown.com/rasslinkitty:hellokitty.com/how-to-save-sailor-moon/

WWE: SmackDown featured Chavo vs. The Undertaker in the main event, and to the delight of the crowd, ‘Taker beat Chavo silly, as Edge, Ryder and Hawkins looked on at ringside. However, after the match, the ringside trio preformed an assault on The Deadman, resulting in the trio carrying off a three man conchairto. Edge then added to this with several more chair shots to ‘Taker’s back. An interesting note, that it took 3 men to do TNA Star Christian Cage’s trademark move. Speaking of TNA, former TNA tag team champions The Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) and former WSX sensation Luke Hawx were tossed into a match with Big Show, as Big Show prepared for some more light training before next week’s WM24 debacle with Floyd. Each of the former TNA and WSX stars are taller, stronger and more wrestling trained than Floyd, yet all three were KO’ed, the worst off being Chase Stevens, who was socked in the face, landed on his head, and promptly passed out. Kane had a match with Chuck Palumbo, only to have the contest stopped, after Khali and Mark Henery interrupted the match. Khali tossed Kane and Chuck aside, but was then slammed hard to the canvas by Mark. Victoria was voted off the Diva contest, leaving Cherry as the only favored prospect. (Try telling that to the management team.) Good luck Cherry! Also, MVP invited Y2J to the lounge, and after the two got into a comedic back and forth routine that left fans giggling, MVP climbed a ladder, to show off how he wants to win Money In The Bank at WM24. Jericho respnded by pushing the ladder over, launching MVP into the ropes. Also on the card, Funaki once more was unfairly forced to job Edge, as the Edgeheads helped, and Batista made short work of Domino. Also Festus wowed the crowd with his improved style and fast beating, but Festus and Jesse lost a match against Miz and Morrison for the tag belts, when Miz took advantage of an already beaten Jesse.

TNA: Several newspapers are reporting that TNA is being sued by current AAA star Konnan. Konnan states in the suit that he was unfairly treated due to race, and thinks it’s unfair that TNA retracted their offer to help Konnan pay for his life threatening kidney surgery last year, even sending him a fine for an unpaid loan, yet several of the older “white” wrestlers new to the roster are addicted to drugs, yet nothing is done about them. Konnan also fights for the younger talent, enforcing what all the fans at home agree is true, that TNA is focusing to much star power on the older, WCW based wrestlers whom have battered bodies and yet ask for (and ARE given) ridiculous amounts of money, when the younger, more indy based TNA stars who put TNA on the map (AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoe Joe) aren’t getting adequate pay, and in the last year have been reduced from main event stars, to background comedy relief to the shegrin of the fans. No comment from TNA as of yet.

ROH: Ring of Honor is happy to announce that this May, when they make their debut at the Hammerstien Ballroom, yes, the very same Ballroom that hosted the original ECW, that during that same weekend, Naomichi Marufuji and Takeshi Morishima will return to the company, after a brief stay in their home counrty of Japan! Takeshi and Naomichi were recently seen in a AAA taping two weeks ago, in a match with Kenzo Suzuki and Abismo Negro, respectively.

Mixed Media: ESPN Classic starting at Noon/1pm today will air a UWF marathon, highlighting such stars as Cactus Jack, Capt. Lou Albano and many many more! This is a great way to spend the Saturday before Easter, so don’t miss it!!

Well that does it for now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!
