Hello everyone! Isn’t it nice to open today’s news with something happy? ^_^

WWE: New Smackdown champ Undertaker is 16-0 after making Edge tap like a baby, but the man who stole the show is none other than ‘Taker’s kid brother Kane, who not only won 2 matches in a row, but ended his 10 year title dry spell by defeating Chavo in 10 seconds!! Kane has officially set a new record, and now joins The Ultimate Warrior as one of the very few to beat a WM competitior in under 30 seconds!! Congratulations Kane!!!! Kane is your NEW ECW champion! YATTA!!!!

CM Punk beat the odds, and the frazzled booking team, by snatching the victory in the Money In The Bank match. Punk outlasted 7 other competitors and about three emergency reshcedulings to obtain a title shot, good for ANY of the 3 main titles for one year. Punk was not the only former ROH star to appear, as Matt Hardy ran in to prevent MVP from stealing any kind of victory at the PPV! CONGRATS PUNK!!

In other news, Shawn Michales ended Ric Flair’s WWE tenure with Sweet Chin Music. Before delivering that final blow, Shawn was quoted as telling Flair “I’m sorry… I Love you”. As Shawn left his boyhood crush behind, himself highly emotional, Ric embraced his family.  Shawn was highly reluctant to face Flair, as Shawn was just recently let back into Canada, after a specific incident invoulving a match with a different icon. Shawn still fears the upcoming fan backlash, over being the man to retire Space Mountain.

OVW standout Beth Phoenix beat Maria in the BunnyMania match, which was inturrupted by the jealous and overbearing Santino Marella. After the bout, an irate Snoop Dogg beat the crud out of Santino, and then went and kissed Maria!! (Wait, isn’t he married?)

JBL beat Finlay in a match that saw chairs, steps and even Finlay in flight. Scary… I hope Finlay will recover soon. Hornswoggle came to his dad’s aid after the match.

Mayweather used a cheap tactic to defeat Big Show. Since the 7′2 crowd pleaser was too much for Floyd, Floyd used brass knuckles to get a knockout win. If this had been an actual match, Show would have sent Floyd’s limp body flying up the ramp. Let’s all hope Big Show was properly compensated for his time, especially since his surprise return was spoiled by Floyd to begin with. Now let’s see the return of a face ‘Show!! (Pretty please??)

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Randy Orton got a cheap shot in to retain the Raw title.

Well, that’s all for the moment. Tune into Raw tonight for the fallout and some of the best stuff. The show after a major PPV for TNA or WWE is usually the best of the month for that brand so check your listings!

As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

CONGRATULATIONS UNDERTAKER, KANE AND C.M. PUNK!!!

Hello Wrestling Fans!! With Wrestlemania 24 just a few hours away I have TONS of news.

TNA: Rhocka Kahn attended WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony yesterday, sitting with a gaggle of FCW talent. Buisness owners and fans alike have tons of stories flying around about Jeff Jarrett and Johnny “Ace” Laurinitis being seen together at a local bar with several other wrestlers, and other tales of Shannon Moore and Chavo visiting TNA staff, but so far Rhocka’s spy mission is the first one to be on official WWE television, not to mention all of the free publicity Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Team 3D has been getting, as their images and likenesses are being randomly inserted into EVERY SINGLE WWE promo tape for WM24.

WWE Hall Of Fame: In a complete disreguard for the legends on hand and on high for Saturday’s event, the whole ceremony was aired live via wwe.com, and a sloppy edit aired later Saturday night on USA, effectively cutting out almost ALL of the legends honored. WWE’s attempt at honor once again fell several hours too short, and it was once again left to the kindhearted wrestlers to save McMahon’s hiney. For a complete recap of everything you missed, head on over right now to ImpactWrestling.com’s full, uncensored report at http://www.impactwrestling.com/Content.aspx?ID=17319. And for those of you who don’t like using “smark” sites (Very few people do, myself included), the full Hall Of Fame special will be apart of the upcoming WM24 DVD set in a month or so. (Really, this is a good site.)

Well, that does it for now. I will have a full recap of Wrestlemania 24 after the PPV, with highlights and any late breaking news, heading into Monday’s post PPV Raw taping.

As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. See you in a few hours, okay? ^_^

Hello everyone! I just have a small piece of news for today for you wrestling fans.

TNAWWE News: Do not hit the reload button, you did read that right. With Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando of all places, WWE has the nerve to not only set up a fan show this weekend, prior to the PPV at Universal Orlando (Where TNA Impact is taped), but to also tell all WWE SuperStars that they cannot fraternize with TNA talent, at all. However, a few clever wrestlers have figured out that what you do during your off time is nobody’s buisness but yours. With that said, a few WWE stars have broken the TNA taboo, but one unlucky man was caught live!

During Thursday’s live Impact show, WWE star Robbie McAllister of The Highlanders was filmed in the crowd! TNA cameras zoomed in on his face, and even posted his full real name, and his occupation. Robbie realized too late what they had done, and helplessly tried to hide his face, but by that time, he was already on both of the big screens, and viewers at home had already started calling fellow wrestling fans with the news. WWE is said to be livid with Robbie, who was supposed to be out on injury leave accourding to WWE.com. Poor guy!!

In other news, Impact saw the return of Sting, as he has now aligned himself with Christian Cage’s team for Lockdown April 13th. However, after Sting got the pin during a pre-PPV showcase match featuring himself, Christian, Rhyno and Kevin Nash vs. Team 3D, Tomko and AJ Styles, Sting was clubbed in the head with a beer bottle by returning star James Storm. James has offered his help to Team Tomko. Samoa Joe assured fans via sattelite that he still plans to take the title off of Kurt Angle, who’s wife Karen has just taken the kids and moved out of their Pennsylvania home. Joe has been training non stop in California, in a prefabricated cage, to ensure he will be his usual 100% for Lockdown. Awesome Kong defended her title against ODB, Jay Leathal took So Cal Val on a date to the gym, only to have the snooping Sonjay Dutt butt in rudely, Johnny Devine won a match against Alex Shelley, after hitting him in the head with the camera tripod, LAX beat Scott Stiener, Petey Williams and Rhocka Kahn (Despite Scott’s training of Petey, which now includes electrocution), and Booker T made Bobby Roode bleed in a First blood match for the win.

Now, I’d like your opinion on something that was brought up tonight.

In a video package, Kip James (Billy Gunn) argued that the reason why he turned on BG James (Road Dogg) was because after helping BG break into WWF, teaming with him, and acting as family to him, BG turned his back on Kip after Kip literally handed BG the tag title shot in the feast or fired match back on Thanksgiving 2007, and made his life misrable with arguments and secrets, before ousting Kip altogether as a partner, choosing his father Bullet Bob Armstrong.

However, BG insists that he didn’t turn his back on Kip, but did take the tag title shot Kip gave him to fufill a lifelong ambition to hold the belts once with his dad, Bullet Bob.

My question to you, did BG turn his back on Kip for his own gains, or is Kip just being whiney? Could this storyline could develop into either a match for an upcoming PPV, or into the duo rekindling a friendship? Post your comments!

Well that does it for today. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates, but things have been slow. Yes, even with Raw and ECW, there just wasn’t much to report on. But I’ll try anyway.

Sailormoon: The main feature of letter writing campaigns is to get as many people as possible to join you. So here we go! Everyone, send your friends and fellow Sailormoon fans to http://blog.sanriotown.com/rasslinkitty:hellokitty.com/how-to-save-sailor-moon/ so we can really get a move on things! If you are really serious about bringing back Sailormoon, then this is the first step to take, and it’s easy too! And don’t forget to vote for my blog, okay?

WWE: With Wrestlemania 24 going LIVE this Sunday, you’d think they would have a stable card. Several more emergency rewrites have been set in order this week, as Candice can’t make it to the PPV, due to clavical surgery. Her replacement is Ashley Massaro for the BunnyMania match. Also, several superstars have been pulled, rebooked, then pulled again for the 24 man rumble match! On ECW Tuesday, Snitsky sloppily won a 24 man preview match, which showed a different lineup than the original match card. Questionable wrestlers for the card are Super Crazy, Big Daddy V, D.H. Smith, Charlie Hass, as well as a who’s who of other rebooked talents. Hopefully, WWE can make it up to them, instead of lumping everyone into ANOTHER dark match. Speaking of Charlie Hass, congrats go out to him today, as various news outlets are reporting that Charlie, his daughter and his wife, Tough Enough 2 winner and former TNA star Jackie Gayda, are expecting another baby. YAY! Hope all is well with the cute family! In other news, The Hall of Fame ceremony airs this Saturday, and this years inductees include Peter Maivia (Angel), Rocky Johnson, Jerry Brisco, Jack Brisco, Mae Young, Ric Flair, Eddie Graham (Angel) and Gordon Solie (Angel). Also, sidelined star Gregory Helms is reportedly feeling fine enough to train again. The agile former Cruiserweight Champ has been suffering from nerve damage. Take it easy Gregory, and hope you’re doing better!

TNA: Sting returns to the TNA lockerroom tonight, after months of contract negotiations. TNA Impact airs LIVE tonight, as they are a short two weeks shy of their next PPV Lockdown.

ROH: Larry Sweeney continues to cause headaches for everyone, as he threatens to sell more people to WWE. (If he likes them so much, why doesn’t he LEAVE for WWE??) Another person causing headaches seems to be Sunny. The bubbley Tammy Sytch keeps trying to lure young hopefuls into her corner, while annoying Lacey. Some of the boys are kind enough to smile politeley, and back away slowly, whilest Lacey has made her ideals known. Lacey writes about the threats she’s been getting from Sunny in a post on the Age Of The Fall’s blog, at ageofthefall.com. Look for the logo at the bottom of the page. On a strange note, some newspapers are reporting that Sunny is only using her indy and ROH apperances to gain attention, so she can return to WWE again, and clean house with the Divas. No further information is available at this time on Sunny’s plans, or why she keeps trying to rub herself all over men young enough to be her sons. Ah well, that’s Sunny afterall.

Mixed media: Kudos go to Sid Vicious, as the Psycho one himself is now feeling 100% better, after a long injury. Could a major return be in the works? Also, you may have heard all about it by now, but in case you haven’t, Hulk Hogan, estranged wife Linda, and irresponsible son Nick are facing a lawsuit from the family of the man Nick seriously hurt in a car crash last August. The young man, who is an Iraq War vet, was left in a brutal state after the crash, and will need medical assistance for possibly the rest of his life. His family will sue on his behalf for damages resulting from the crash, and for the Hogans using visits to the boy for publicity’s sake. No word yet if bemused Brooke Hogan will be named or not. Speaking of Brooke, news agencies are reporting that VH1 is picking up a new show, starring Brooke, called “Brooke knows best”. The spin-off from daddy’s “Hogan knows best” is reportedly in preduction. Former OVW sensation Jason Saint is currently filming a movie, about four friends enjoying their last summer before college. Check out the movie’s early press and casting information at: http://www.myspace.com/thelastsummerpp!!

Well that’s that for today. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Vote for my blog! ^_^ Until next time!

Hello everyone! News came in plenty steady today, so you will have enough to read! Let’s get to it:

Sailormoon: Several news outlets including Yahoo are reporting that Japan has a new official Anime Ambassador in Doraemon! Doraemon will hopefully liven up worldwide interest in anime, as well as greet new countires with a friendly outlook. With that said, Sailormoon and many other titles could see a revival of sorts! Hopefully NOT like what’s been crassly done to Speed Racer, but nonetheless, here’s a link to this happy new story, which even refrences Sailor Moon herself: http://inventorspot.com/articles/anime_star_doraemon_ appointed_japans_cultural_ambassador_11865 On a related note, I have started a NEW campaign to bring Sailormoon back! Follow the directions on my latest post : http://blog.sanriotown.com/rasslinkitty:hellokitty.com/how-to-save-sailor-moon/

WWE: SmackDown featured Chavo vs. The Undertaker in the main event, and to the delight of the crowd, ‘Taker beat Chavo silly, as Edge, Ryder and Hawkins looked on at ringside. However, after the match, the ringside trio preformed an assault on The Deadman, resulting in the trio carrying off a three man conchairto. Edge then added to this with several more chair shots to ‘Taker’s back. An interesting note, that it took 3 men to do TNA Star Christian Cage’s trademark move. Speaking of TNA, former TNA tag team champions The Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) and former WSX sensation Luke Hawx were tossed into a match with Big Show, as Big Show prepared for some more light training before next week’s WM24 debacle with Floyd. Each of the former TNA and WSX stars are taller, stronger and more wrestling trained than Floyd, yet all three were KO’ed, the worst off being Chase Stevens, who was socked in the face, landed on his head, and promptly passed out. Kane had a match with Chuck Palumbo, only to have the contest stopped, after Khali and Mark Henery interrupted the match. Khali tossed Kane and Chuck aside, but was then slammed hard to the canvas by Mark. Victoria was voted off the Diva contest, leaving Cherry as the only favored prospect. (Try telling that to the management team.) Good luck Cherry! Also, MVP invited Y2J to the lounge, and after the two got into a comedic back and forth routine that left fans giggling, MVP climbed a ladder, to show off how he wants to win Money In The Bank at WM24. Jericho respnded by pushing the ladder over, launching MVP into the ropes. Also on the card, Funaki once more was unfairly forced to job Edge, as the Edgeheads helped, and Batista made short work of Domino. Also Festus wowed the crowd with his improved style and fast beating, but Festus and Jesse lost a match against Miz and Morrison for the tag belts, when Miz took advantage of an already beaten Jesse.

TNA: Several newspapers are reporting that TNA is being sued by current AAA star Konnan. Konnan states in the suit that he was unfairly treated due to race, and thinks it’s unfair that TNA retracted their offer to help Konnan pay for his life threatening kidney surgery last year, even sending him a fine for an unpaid loan, yet several of the older “white” wrestlers new to the roster are addicted to drugs, yet nothing is done about them. Konnan also fights for the younger talent, enforcing what all the fans at home agree is true, that TNA is focusing to much star power on the older, WCW based wrestlers whom have battered bodies and yet ask for (and ARE given) ridiculous amounts of money, when the younger, more indy based TNA stars who put TNA on the map (AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoe Joe) aren’t getting adequate pay, and in the last year have been reduced from main event stars, to background comedy relief to the shegrin of the fans. No comment from TNA as of yet.

ROH: Ring of Honor is happy to announce that this May, when they make their debut at the Hammerstien Ballroom, yes, the very same Ballroom that hosted the original ECW, that during that same weekend, Naomichi Marufuji and Takeshi Morishima will return to the company, after a brief stay in their home counrty of Japan! Takeshi and Naomichi were recently seen in a AAA taping two weeks ago, in a match with Kenzo Suzuki and Abismo Negro, respectively.

Mixed Media: ESPN Classic starting at Noon/1pm today will air a UWF marathon, highlighting such stars as Cactus Jack, Capt. Lou Albano and many many more! This is a great way to spend the Saturday before Easter, so don’t miss it!!

Well that does it for now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone! I have some HUGE updates for everyone, so let’s get to it!

In Memoriam: Sadly, The wrestling world has lost one of the top heel managers in Gary Hart. Mr. Gary Hart died this week at the young age of 66, due to Heart Disease. Condolences go out to his family at this time. Gary began his carrer in the 1960’s as a wrestler, and later became a famous manager, feuding against the Von Erich family at one point. A few years ago, he was even spotted aiding young wrestlers at the defunct Orlando Florida based MLW. A hit in various organizations, including the WWWF (Now WWE), Gary Hart will be greatly missed.

Sailormoon: Toei Animation’s website has updated with three new adresses you can snail mail in reguards to bringing back Sailormoon. Detailed instructions will be on a separate page on THIS blog on bringing back Sailormoon titled “How to save Sailor Moon”. Look for it, okay!?

WWE: Another odd suspension blamed on the wellness policy has a member of The Rock’s family on a 30 day leave from FCW. Details are sketchy as to EXACTLY which member this is, but WWE will have a full update in the coming days. In other news, Larry King Live has once again bumped WWE’s segment, promoting WM24, in favor of a story on the war.

TNA: Impact saw fallout from their last PPV, as Sharmell made her triumphant return, after a long injury, only to be bothered by Bobby Roode, Payton Banks (Rain), and an irate Jim Corntette, who thinks it’s a good idea to lock Booker T and Sharmell in a cage against Roode and Payton at Lockdown, April 13th. This will come back to haunt him, but the fans will approve. Rhyno reluctantly joined Christian’s team, after he lost a match with Tomko, due to AJ Styles hitting him before the end of the match. AJ was however acting out of nervousness, as not only is he trying to live up to Tomko’s expectations, but he’s also trying to patch things up with Kurt Angle, trying to befriend Karen Angle, and Cornette lobbed him at Booker T. The latter of which sent AJ screaming “I’M NOT EVEN S’POSTA BE IN A MATCH TONIGHT~ THAT’S NOT IN THE SCRIPT!!!” . Aj would later lose in this heated fight, yet on the upswing, AJ has been “adopted” by Team 3D as their new nephew. (Awww!) Kurt Angle beat several MMA fighters, after stating that he wants to go all out and have an MMA based match with Samoa Joe at Lockdown. Kurt is now on edge (pun not intended), and views Karen as “non-existant”. Could a divorce be on the way? We shall see ….

ROH: After the sad news of BJ Whitmer’s departure so he can focus on getting better, some happy news comes our way, as there is a new article on Kouta Ibushi’s US debut for the middle 10 days of April! Ibushi, a star from the DDT promotion, wowed audiances last year, when on July 15, he was featured in a contest in which his flying acrobatics and fast paced form shocked and delighted wrestlers, promoters and fans alike.

Well that’s that for right now. As always, stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!

Hello everyone. No Sailormoon news today, however, I can point out that several news outlets have been referencing Sailormoon as a classic, by which other animes attempt to either copy or live up to. Google news it sometime! Anyway, onto wrestling news:

WWE: ECW aired live Tuesday night, showcasing Colin Delaney vs. Chavo in the main event. Colin’s latest fight was brough on when he tried speaking to ECW GM Armando Estrada, as Armando was adressing Chavo’s fears, knowing that at WM24, Chavo’s belt goes on the line against whomever wins the 24 man battle royal~ The same battle royal that Kane, Khali and Mark Henry will participate in. Chavo would later beat his fears out, by winning against Colin, who just wanted to sign a WWE contract. CM Punk, Festus and Jesse won in a 6-man-tag-team-match against Miz, Morrison and Shelton Benjamin. Punk played with Festus, waving his hand in front of Festus’s face, when the large star was in his usual zone. Kofi Kingston defeated James Curtis, to the delight of the crowd, and Kane mopped the floor with Elijah Burke in an EXTREME-ly short match.

ROH: Sad news to report, as BJ Whitmer has left Ring Of Honor, after a glorious run. BJ was well loved by fans, especially during his last appearance, when he turned down Sweeney’s offer. BJ is one of the toughest wrestlers to grace ROH’s ring, known for his stiff hits, his shocking combos, and his ability to turn competitors inside-out! BJ needs time off to heal up some nagging injuries, and you can read a full story on BJ’s departure and the legacy he leaves behind at rohwrestling.com. On a happy note, Jack Evans is doing much better, having recovered from his facial injuries, and will return April 11th! Also, ROH is debuting a new buisness article, set to update every so often, focusing only on future buisness goals. ROH this year plans to head south, with upcoming shows and events in Virginia and Florida. Did you know that the Man Up PPV is the best selling ROH PPV and DVD of 2007? It’s true! (I have a copy, AND I saw it live! AWESOME. ^_^)

Mixed Media: Today is Sting’s birthday. Sting was born on a Pisces-Aries cusp, meaning that he’s unpredictable, tense, and always energetic. He is 49 years old today.

Well that’s that for the moment. As always stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. (Yes, manga and comic books DO count!) Until next time!

Hello everyone! Sorry about missing St. Patrick’s Day, I was busy trying to sort out all of the wrestling news! There’s a sighting for you Sailormoon fans too, let’s get to it!!

Sailormoon: If you get The N channel, tune in 2:00 pm central, 3:00 pm eastern, as they have brought back All That. Why is this important? Wait for the “Lost on the Island” skits, in the beginning of each island skit, is a short movie with the 6 inch Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mars dolls from BanDai floating in the water with cheap Nickelodeon clothes fastened over their fukus!! They appear for about a minute, so look closely! You can catch All That reruns for an hour on The N, so every other episode has the Sailor Senshi dolls!! This is the first time in TOO LONG we have had a consistent daily program slot for ANYTHING Sailormoon! And with The N’s new 90’s themed teen and adult blocks, could this be a new network for the Sailormoon anime?? (Or even the cruddy PGSM??) Leave a comment at the end of today’s blog!

WWE: Raw aired live St. Patrick’s Day to a packed, yet bored crowd. Y2J and Big Show were both set to face each other, after a confrontation ensued when Y2J made some unfriendly comments to Big Show’s face during the Highlight Reel, yet one small problem made this match come off as high powered, yet odd. Who do you root for? With both men taking the tweener side, it was too hard to tell heel from face as the two fan favorites butted heads later in the night. CM Punk beat Carlito with a Go To Sleep, when Carlito wasn’t paying attention. Despite the WWE.com skits, Carlito just didn’t seem that into the match. Bad booking has a way of doing that. Santino Marella bothered guest Snoop Dog in a short segment about BunnyMania. Umaga defeated Brian “Spanky” Kendrick and Paul London, after spiking London. During the match, both Spanky and London were heavily beaten up by Umaga, yet as the match drew to a close, Spanky shocked the crowd by deserting London. Was this because he needed immediate medical attention (as he WAS wincing in pain) or is there something else behind that 5′5 frame? Time will tell. Since Finlay was at the bedside of Hornswoggle, JBL decided to beat up another Irish wrestler for St Patty’s Day. Colin Delaney. JBL clothslined and smacked around Colin, until he couldn’t get up again. JBL got the win, while Colin lay there, twitching. Vince McMahon battled and lost to Ric Flair in a street fight match. Vince showed his age in the contest, as he was unable to subdue Flair or even set up a table quickly. Subway fanatic Jared was sitting ringside, and gave Jerry The King Lawler a sub, just in time for Canice Michelle and Maria to score a miracle win over Victoria and Jillian. Santino would then steal Jerry’s sub, after hitting him, and then Santino ran off with Jillian and Victoria. However, this wasn’t the worst of it, as after Raw’s broadcast, it was reported on WWE.com that Candice has once again managed to injure herself. There appears to be a major problem with her clavicle region, and her role in Wrestlemania is uncertain. It was also announced that tomorrow’s ECW taping will feature news on the next Hall of Fame inductee! Could this mean that he/she is a hardcore legend? We’ll see! Y2J got himself DQ’ed in his fight with Big Show, by using the IC title against Show. This was not a brainy move on his part, as Big Show returned the favor by punching Y2J in the face, as Y2J’s body was already in high speed motion, having just bounced off the ropes. Y2J may have a black eye, but that is uncertain at this time. His face was swelling though, and he had to be escorted away by a nearby ref. Celebrity Kim Kardashian was introduced as the hostess for Wrestlemania 24. (Like we needed one???) She snubbed Big Dick Johnson during his dance number, but wanted to invite the viewing audiance to this year’s event. As Triple H was the guest GM this week, he scheduled Randy Orton and John Cena in a 17 on 2 tag team match, with the stipulation that if Cena walked away, he forfiets his spot on the WM card, but if Orton walks, he loses his WM AND is stripped of the title. Randy tried in vain to get Cena to just lay down for the first guy, but Cena refused to back down. The match however was thrown out, when the ref got scared watching 6 of the Raw stars kicking the heck out of Randy. HHH then came out and pedigreed Randy and Cena.

TNA: Reports indicate that debuting at either the PPV or a house show, was none other than Brian Hebner, son of Earl, nephew of Dave. Brian was last seen on tv during a SmackDown episode, and is known for being a sloppy ref, but having a great skill at beatboxing.

ROH: Well, it’s official, Larry Sweeney is now THE most HATED man in ROH. Yep, ain’t no doubt about it baby! Larry has no want for leadership, booking or promoting, but he does have a thirst for the most underhanded, idiotic takeover ROH has EVER seen in it’s 6 years. So hostile, it makes CZW’s 2006 invasion seem harmless. (That hurt to type that.) Since it’s too much for me to stomach, check out what rohwrestling.com has on the matter:

March 17th: Larry Sweeney has started his hostile takeover of Ring Of Honor. Sweeney has made it clear that he isn’t after ROH management or ownership. Sweeney has sent word throughout the locker room that he is signing as many talents as he can to representation contracts. Sweeney then says he will lead these men to the top of ROH and increase their value. He will then sell them to Vince and make a profit for himself and for whoever signs with him. Will Sweeney lead ROH talent out of ROH? So far Adam Pearce, Brent Albright & Shane Hagadorn sold their souls to Sweeney as The Hangmen Three have dissolved into Sweet & Sour Inc. BJ Whitmer refused and as a result is out of ROH and off all upcoming shows after an attack. It is possible that last night was Whitmer’s final night in ROH. However, all is not coming up aces for Sweeney. SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey has taken a leave of absence from Sweet & Sour Inc. and several members of the ROH locker room have privately expressed disgust to Sweeney’s plan. This is going to be something to watch closely as Sweeney brings the business side and politics of sports to try to corrupt ROH.

Yes, you read that right. This is what happened to Matt Sydal!! Sydal was a top indie prospect whom everyone adores, when at a Chicago show, Sydal agreed to a deal with Sweet & Sour Inc. Nowadays he’s stuck in FCW~WWE’s new Florida territory, wondering why Vince and his cronies can’t be bothered to book the kid in a decent, NON-JOBBING tv match. WWE has taken enough of a toll on ROH, having whisked away CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Sydal and many others, only to have the boys injured or unbooked ON PURPOSE, so that they CAN’T wrestle for anyone else. Now this??? Larry needs to be stopped. Larry’s last known WWE tv spot was a few years ago, when he posed as Nick Hogan, in a Hogan don’t know best skit with Randy Orton. Larry’s lust for WWE could be satiated, if he were to sell himself next time, instead of actual talent. Speaking of invasions, Eddie Kingston barged in during Sunday’s ROH show, demanding Ruckus either stay with The Vulture Squad, and become his new enemy, or leave them behind and rejoin BLK OUT with fellow members Sabian and Robby Mireno. Ruckus was last in BLK OUT during his CZW tenure, but has within recent months began a transformation under the wings of Jack Evans and Julius Smokes. Ruckus has yet to decide where his loyalties are, as he was unaware there was any sort of problem between himself and BLK OUT, that would result in this bizzarre twist. Also Sunday night, Bushwacker Luke defeated Shane Hagadorn, Sara Del Ray defeated Kylie Pearce, Davey Richards defeated Dingo with a Kimura submission, Tyler Black defeated Delirious, Claudio Castagnoli and Go Shiozaki in a Four Way to earn a ROH title shot later that evening, to wit Tyler lost to Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Steen defeated Roderick Strong with a package piledriver, Ruckus and Jigsaw pulled off a miracle win against BJ Whitmer and Adam Pearce, The Briscoes defeated Joey Matthews & Jimmy Jacobs in a highly brutal No Rules match after a Spike Jay Driller, Brent Albright defeated Erick Stevens, afterwards was the incident with Sweeney, as when BJ refused Sweeney’s offer, BJ was laid out with a spike piledriver on a chair, resulting in an IMMIDIATE injury, and Bryan Danielson defeated Austin Aries.

Whew! That’s alot to take in. Now you know why it took me a day to sort through it all! That’s about all for right now. As always, stay clean and healthy, and read a good book when you can. Til next time!

Hello everyone! No TNA news today, but everything else is covered.

Sailormoon: The Ottawa Citizen posted an article today about a new book titled: Truth and Rumors: The Reality Behind TV’s Most Famous Myths, and in it is a story on weather or not Sailormoon causes convulsions! The book shoots down this claim, though some people are still warey of watching anime, ever since the Porygon episode of Pokemon that was pulled worldwide, despite creative editing after the first airing caused most of Japan’s youth to suffer seizures back in the mid 1990’s. Your comments as always are welcome at the bottom.

WWE: Heartfelt condolences go out to Jeff Hardy, as J.R. reports that Jeff’s house burnt down this week. Jeff and his lady Beth were luckily off the premises when the blaze came forth, but Jeff lost his dog, as well as his home in the fire.

ROH: Ring of Honor had a star studded event in Dover NJ Friday, as filming for The Wrestler got underway. A new set debuted, just for the filming. Among the fans in attendance was Oscar Winner Marisa Tomei! The actress was said to have been impressed with ROH’s style. However, another visitor last night was none other than Eddie Kingston of CZW fame. Kingston hassled Ruckus during his match, and it is unclear at the moment exactly why Kingston was upset. Hello everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates again. There just wasn’t enough to report. But all that’s changed now, so here we go!

Sailormoon: Okay, still no official news, BUT how about a bargin? I recently found a hot site to buy Sailormoon DVDs from, not sure about how “official” they are, but I bought two sets, and they are SO CLEAR!! This site has weekly bargins and they update often. The adress is: http://www.animecollector.com/cgi-bin/buy?a3=sailor+moon check out the Sailormoon R set! When you buy the Sailormoon R set, you get a bonus disc with the lost episode 67~ An episode that hasn’t aired in Japan in 15 years!!! If you still haven’t seen the uncensored Sailormoon, then this is a great way to cut a deal.

WWE: Highlights from the Chicago Wrestlemainia press conference aired during SmackDown Friday, headlined by Big Show’s feud with Floyd Mayweather. Floyd was sporting a cast over his faintly bruised elbow, yelping that it was as bad as a broken arm. Floyd will still participate in Wrestlemania 24, with hopes to break Big Show’s jaw. Floyd will be paid more than 5 million dollars for his WM appearance, prompting outrage from fans. Loyal WWE Fans argure that it’s unfair for Floyd, a non-wrestling celebrity to be paid that sort of cash for a WM apperance, when superstars such as Kane, Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk and many more won’t even SEE that kind of money, even if they work for the WWE non-stop for the next three years. While still hurt, most of the wrestlers are taking this in stride smiling cheerfully, while many of their fans meanwhile are contemplating OTHER ways to spend a Sunday night on March 30th. This publicity stunt may have just cost the WWE a fourtune in now LOST PPV sales. On SmackDown, Big Show dominated in a match against Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore. Though the former WCW stars were strong enough to still be awake after the bout, the duo were left physically devistated by Big Show, who literally didn’t even break a sweat. Maryse was booted off of the best SmackDown diva contest by fans via text vote. Cherry and Victoria seem to be in the lead with fans, though WWE is pushing for Michelle. MVP retained the US championship against Batista in a No Holds Barred match, when Umaga got involved. It was also announced that at a recent house show, MVP stole a spot in the Money In The Bank match in a fight against Jamie Knoble. Morrison won a spot against Miz, bringing the total MITB challengers to 7: Morrison, MVP, CM Punk, Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Ken Kennedy. What was to be a 3 on 2 handicap cage match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair vs. Edge and his minions, turned into a 4-on-2 match, as SmackDown GM Vicky added Chavo to Edge’s team. Shawn’s arms were in the hangman position for most of the match, leaving Edge’s team to beat and bloody Flair. The cage has shrunk since the last match, and now stands about 10 feet tall, with a small door~too small for Edge, and NO room for team members to stand during the match, so this became an impromptu Tornado Tag. But just as the cocky Edge was about to celebrate, the lights went black, then went back on to reveal The Undertaker! ‘Taker made short work of Chavo and the boys, while Edge made a fast exit over the top of the cage.

TNA: Impact aired Thursday with plenty of news! At long last, Samoa Joe will get the title shot he’s been denied for too long against Kurt Angle at Lockdown! Lockdown of course is the once a year extraviganza where ALL matches are in a cage!! Samoa Joe came out in a buisness suit to adress the crowd, saying that he loves and respects his fans, but if by ANY reason he walks out of Lockdown WITHOUT the title around his waist, he will QUIT TNA. Could ROH be his backup plan? Stay tuned! Also at the April 13th PPV, Christian Cage will pick a team of three to back him up against Tomko’s team. Christian so far has Kevin Nash, while Tomko has AJ Styles at the moment. Kurt Angle won a match against Kaz, due to Rudy Charles discounting each of Kaz’s pins. Rudy counted to three for Kaz on four different occasions, but still counted Kurt instead, to the shegrin of fans everywhere. After the bout, Karen Angle came out and told Kurt she wants a legal separation. Kurt was OVERJOYED. Kurt has graciously allowed her to keep the kids, the house, and anything she wants, as he’d rather focus on getting beaten to a bloody pulp by Samoa Joe April 13th, then have to deal with Karen. Karen was hoping for a more devestating reply from Kurt, but ended up sulking away while Kurt beamed. Video clips from Jay Leathal and So Cal Val’s date started off sweet and charming, but were inturrupted by Sonjay taking Val’s hand and running off with her. Sonjay’s jealous crush my test his friendship with Black Machismo. Lockdown is also the event for the annual X Division Xscape Match for the X Division Championship. The first of several qualifying bouts saw Curry Man beating Petey Williams for a spot in the match. But afterwards, Petey was handcuffed by Rhaka Kahn and Scott Stiener, and then had a black bag placed over his head. No telling where this disturbing story will lead yet… Rellik and Black Reign brutally beat The Motor City Machine guns, but where then frightened off by Super Eric. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky savagely beat upon Roxxi during a fake makeover, which Roxxi was against from the get go. The two bullies had faked being Roxxi’s friends, just so they could humiliate her for fun. Velvet would later be beaten by Gail Kim in a match. But after the match, Angelina and Velvet antagonized Gail. And when Gail tried to leave, Awesome Kong sent her flying back in. Gail tried to beat on Kong, only to have Kong’s friend Saeed hit Gail with the Knockout Title. ODB then came out with a chair. Christy cheated to help The Rock n’ Rave infection beat LAX in an intergender match, when Christy hit Salinas with a Guitar Hero controller at full force. In the main event, Christian and Nash went up against AJ and Tomko, but were attacked by Team 3D for unknown reasons. Team 3D even attacked Survivor: Micronesia star Joel, who was sitting in the crowd.

ROH: Ring of Honor is currently on a tour of the East Coast, filming a PPV as well as scenes from the movie “The Wrestler”. Also this week is the current ROH PPV airing on various networks, some on a Sunday night! This is a great chance for you to see ROH in their greatness, so if your provider carries ROH, go order it and see what the buzz is about! Don’t miss Nigel McGuiness’s bout, that’s my only hint to you today.

Well, that pretty much does it. As always stay clean and healthy and read a good book when you can. Until next time!
