Good morning everyone!! Yeah..i know it is early…Yesterday i slept at 3.16 a.m. , now i woke up at 7.44 a.m.. I just have too many things on my mind, i am worrying about my assignments, mock presentation and colloquium. It seems like i got so many chores to do. But i just cannot start my chores yet. I got no inspiration to kick start… :(

Anyway, let me just blog and hopefully i got spirit to start later. :)

Yesterday night, my boyfriend brought me to a Hong Kong restaurant, ‘Plus One Shabu Shabu’. Initially, he wanted to bring me to ‘Delicious’ at Jalan Tun Razak, but i told him 10.30 p.m. is their last call for main course. It was already 10.46 p.m. , if we go there, we only get to enjoy the dessert, which i don’t think i will full. Therefore, he brought me to the Shabu Shabu restaurant.

The outlook of this restaurant is nice. It just located at Jalan Imbi, beside ‘Imbi Palace Restaurant’. It looks like it’s price will give you a heart attack if you go in. Ha-ha! :D

When we seated, the waitress asked how to address my boyfriend. My boyfriend looked at her in a puzzled face, so i told the waitress my boyfriend’s surname. Then the waitress said it just for database purpose.

We started to look at the menu while…..

~yeah…taking photos….

After we made our order, a waiter told us to get our sauces at the sauces table. There are so many sauces to choose. I wanted to take the photos of the sauce table, but there were many patrons there; so i did not take that.

I only took the photo of sauces i chosen.

After the dinner+supper, we took some photos.

I would say that the ingredients are very fresh, the soup is strong and well-cooked. The prices are considered above average. The good thing is that you can choose to order half or one portion of the ingredient. In this way, you would not waste the ingredients; on the same time, we are able to try more different ingredients. One stone kills two birds!

Last Thursday night was the Hallowen party that organized by our Psychology Student Council. It was entitled as ‘A Magical Hallowen’. Each entry ticket was RM13.

I had rented a set of costume from AbsolutPitch, which they collaborated with our BPsych Student Councils to offered us a best price for costume rental.

This was what i wore:

Yeah…I got this sexy back Greek costume. I guess i was the special good character in this party! Others were all evils! :)

p/s:Actually there are more photos, but the memory is too big, so i am unable to upload… such a pity! :(

Oh ya, i forgot to tell you guys there are Harry Potter movie settings for around 1 kilometer along the hallway! It was fantastic! They were able to made the setting like the real one! I really impressed!

However, i think they were too focus on the Harry Potter part, and they did not have people to take care of the front and caused many guests thought that the event ended. On the second day of event, the vice president of Student Council asked me why i went back so early, they were intended to awarded me with the Best Dressed. Then i explained to him about the situation. He admitted it was his mis-management though. He said he appreciated my attendance and my feedback. He will improve it for the coming event. I am glad to give feedback! :)

Anyhow, it was my first Hallowen party. I was happy and enjoyed through the efforts of Student Councils in decorating the Harry Potter settings. I was delighted with the compliments from many people that liked my costumes. I awaiting their next year’s Hallowen! Hope they can organize it well! Ganbatte! :)

It supposed to be a wonderful relaxing Saturday, but we had to go all the way to Shah Alam to attend the voluntary placement. :(

There were 4 of us: me, Evie, Hilary and Alice. I was the one who drove. We met at lrt station at 8. 35 a.m. , which supposed to be 8.15 a.m. , due to Hilary’s lateness. I fetched them from lrt and we went on our journey.

It was quite a smooth journey, as we managed to find that place without major problem. But, the problem was that, none of us except Alice, taken the breakfast. We were so hungry. We tried to searched around any food stall, but the industry area doesn’t seems to be friendly to us. :(

When waiting upon the traffic light, we saw the signboard of Holiday Inn. Then Evie mentioned that her friend is working in this Holiday Inn, on pastries. We were so excited and decided to go there and check it out our breakfast!

It was a nice place. Seriously, i suggested we go there for a night after final exam. Evie likes my idea too.

Waterfall

We’ve been told that there are a cafe-terrace where serve ala carte near golf course. So we drove and moved toward the golf course from the inn.

The food and drink were okay, not too bad. The price is considered standard in golf course cafe-terrace too.

After breakfast, we soon went to the programme foundation. We went in a theatre to joined in the short overview about what is all about. Then we had to entered a conference room where we brief about the task that we need to do. It is an exhausting task! The task required a lot of time and money to complete it. I know it is VOLUNTARY, however, we are students. It is impossible for us to paying so much money and this is just one of our assignment! Phone calls and transportation are all on us! I guess i have to see my lecturer and talk about this issue…

After a few hours of briefing, we were given this:

nasi lemak take 1

~look nice the package, but with all the ants ran here and there…:(

nasi lemak take 2

~The rice was so cold! It seems like they bought and put for a long time already. :(

I know it sounds bad that i complaint about this. But i really hope they can consider our situation and the role as a student. They are full time worker who should dedicate all their times and money, by the way, they should get their monthly phone call and transportation allowance. But what about us? At first when we asked them, they said it’s just some basic date entry or collection. But now, it turns out to be a multiple task.

I am so tired now. I just wanna have a shower and sleep. Stop thinking that for a moment. Yeah, only a moment i have. :(

Today i had went to ChiLLax, which located at Wisma E & C. It is a newly opened restaurant that near our college. Since we’ve been hearing some coursemates talking about there, so we decided to go there check it out.

The first impression was good. The environment, furniture, lighting are all in good and comfortable way.

After getting seat, me and Hilary sat for a while and realized that it is a self-service restaurant. We proceed to the counter and looking at the menu. I had ordered a Roast Chicken with Mashed potato and a cup of hot latte, which both costs me RM18.80. It’s quite expensive though.

While waiting for our food to deliver to our table, we took some photos first.

After a couple of shoots, my hot latte was delivered. I was shocked by it’s size, as it was too small!

hot latte

~Eventually, this tiny cup of latte, which tasted more like 3 in 1 Nescafe to me, cost me RM5.90! Which is very not worthy! :(

Yen’s

~This is Yen’s fish and chips. It looks much better. But i do not try it, so i not sure about the taste.

Mine!

~This is mine. I know it looks really okay, but i tell you what, the whole dishes was cold! Only the french fries still in warm. (he said the mashed potato finished already, so substituted it with french fries.) Not only the chicken was cold, and it looks and tasted like not fresh as it’s been heated for many times, or was yesterday leftover. The sauce was cold too.

the culinary

~the waiter threw this culinary on the table. Really look like i owe him money. :(

Actually, i was quite disappointed with the food quality and the price at ChiLLAx. The food doesn’t match our expectations and don’t worth our money. It can be a nice place to have group meeting, but definitely not a good place when you are in a deep hungry state or deprive for delicious food.

p/s: I had wore my new Hello Kitty tee today! I supposed this brighten up my day even i had a bad experience in ChiLLax! :)

my kitty!

Today i had my counseling role play assignment. It was a group thing, which 3 persons in a group. Each of us need to rotate the position of client, counselor, and observer. Obviously, client and counselor will be interacting, while observer needs to observe and jot down counselor’s use of skills.

This will be carry out in the therapy room of Center of Psychology, which our lecturer had reserved for our assignment purpose. We will be videotape and audio record through the Circuit Closed Television to let us review when doing the report.

When it was my turn to be the counselor, i started off quite smoothly. In the middle of the conversation, i tend to became nervous as the client did not really talk much. I need to brainstorming immediately on the spot to respond to my client. It was quite hard. But i also got to see my strengths, which i well-used stem sentences, check-out, paraphrasing and summarizing. However, my weaknesses would be unable to set future expectations for the clients and cannot really respond appropriately to some situations that client eventually need me to talk.

It was a great experience. At least we knew and understand it is tough thing to do to listen to others’ problems and help them in it.

Me & hilary

~After the session, me and Hilary took a picture as memory. But Yen at outside, so unable to take a group photo of 3 of us.

Tonight i went to a Buddhist religion festival, which is just located nearby my house. It will continuously held for 9 days. Upon this festival, there will be many vegetarian food stalls, pearl milk tea and beverage stalls, clothes and accessories stalls, free captive birds, fortune teller, and many commercialize stalls.

I had a vegetarian curry pan mee and a peach pearl milk tea; my boyfriend had a kuey tiew mee soup and a cup of chrysanthemum.

What caught my eyes in this festival, almost every year, is the clay figurine. They come in varied shape and design. But the price is not cheap too. :(

I got one for myself just now.

~Is the Zhubajie from Journey to the West! :D

~My bibi trying to imitate Zhubajie??!!? I also don’t know. Ha-ha!

 ~Is me! Holding my Zhubajie!

This Zhubajie costs RM13!!! Never mind lah, once a while ma…. (lah & ma are the common Malaysian’s English!!)

I tried to get Hello Kitty clay figurine, but no single stalls know how to do Hello Kitty. :( It means our Hello Kitty really need license from Sanrio to process! Ha-ha! :D

This morning i woke up once the alarm triggering, as i slept quite early yesterday night. I had my morning shower, cold; and dressed in my Psychology tee. My experiment trial run was on today, so our group members would like to look neat and unity.

Since i just recovered from food poisoning, i only took 4 chocolate cookies as my breakfast. I don’t even dare to drink Milo, to avoid diarrhea again. :(

When i drove from level 2 to level 1 in the car-park, i accidentally treaded on the divider. Oops! I heard a loud sound of burst! I wondered this time my car’s skirting will be all ruin! I quickly stopped at an empty bay once i reached level 1, and i went to checked it out. It was lucky that eventually, nothing happen! Thank God!

I jumped on my car again and drove out of my condominium. Then i started to realized that my car seems to be a bit imbalance and the sound of machine broken and tearing apart. I was afraid and found a petrol station and stopped my car. I went down from car to checked again. This time, i was presented with a scene of tyre punctured! OMG! I immediately called my boyfriend and seek for help.

My boyfriend reached the petrol station in about 10 minutes. He took a look of the tyre and told me the tyre punctured before Chinese New Year too. So that tyre is kind of not in good condition already. Somehow, i felt relieved over his words. At least i no need to be guilty too much.

He helped me to changed the punctured tyre with the spare tyre.

  My bibi!

~He worked so hard to changed the tyre! I felt great to have him with me! :D

the punctured tyre

~See how terrible is the hole! Oh gosh! I know it may sound silly, but i did felt lucky. This is because the moment i realized tyre punctured was very near my house, so i still be able to got the faster assistance. It was the lucky one, isn’t it?

I reached my college half an hour late for my class. But, i felt great though. After the class, i had my lunch with Hilary. After that, we went to level 9 to prepared for our experiment trial run. It was quite nerve-cracking as the lecturer is kind of perfectionist; sometimes i felt we are not even in her average standard. :(

Once i stepped in her room, i observed around the room. I noticed her table was clean, i mean, too clean, do not even have a desktop on it. I mean the table just CLEAR, not even a pen holder. The papers in the bookcase were neat and tidy, angle to angle, not even single paper is run out of the range. The 4 walls do not have any poster, calendar, or a clock. I felt so ’alone’ in that room.

We were being assessed individually by having 6 questions each. I managed to score 4 1/2 marks out of 6. It was considered okay, but not satisfied, to me. However, she was not so scary as what others had mentioned. She was so good that she kept hints us on the answer.

Now, finally i can go on with the experiments after so many obstacles! Thank God!

On Monday, me and my group members were doing trial run with my research tutor. She was so kind that she brought others research tutors along to stimulated the trial run. (this was what she said!ha-ha)

AT the afternoon, me, Hilary & Evie went to take away some food for lunch. We went to Wisma HELP mamak stall because it is the nearest.

Indo mee

This is Indo mee. Actually is a type of instant mee, they just fried it. Soon after i had this, i felt a bit discomfort. However, i still hold it until 3 p.m.

Then, i rushed to return my uniform to the office to avoid deduction of RM50 for late return.

By the time i reached home, i ran to the toilet and vomited. Then i went to sleep. I felt so dizzy that i cannot even wake up to go to get a cup of water. :(

At 8 p.m. , finally i able to woke up. I went to shower and this time i kind of diarrhea. :(

Subsequently, i vomited once again and diarrhea once again too. :(

On the same time, i need to study for my today’s exam paper. It was a torturing. After a quick revision, i took some Chinese medicine and went to sleep.

This morning when i woke up, the first thing i did was vomiting. The Chinese medicine did not fully absorp and i had vomited out most of it. :(

But still, i need to drove to college, took exam, had group discussion, attended class and group discussion again.  Evie was so helpful that she offered me a packet of so called ‘good bacteria’ that will help me to fight with the bad bacteria inside my body. So i took it. Now i still feeling okay, without vomit or diarrhea again. Thank you, Evie!

I hope i’ll be all right by tonight! God bless me!

It was Deepavali on last Saturday. Me, my boyfriend, and 2 of our friends had planned a Muar trip, where my hometown is. (Muar is a small town located at Johor, Malaysia)

Friday

We returned on Friday night. It tooks about 2 hours to reach Muar from Kuala Lumpur. We reached there around 12 a.m. . The first place we went was not the motel, but the Ah Peng wantan mee stall! Ha-ha! Really cannot resist! But, the auntie said sold out already, left some wantan. Whatever, wantan then wantan! We ordered 10 wantan and shared among us! So happy~I also make reservation with the auntie for Saturday night, to avoid sold out again!

After wantan, we went to check-in. Thought we were going to sleep? NO, we went and searched for more foods! Ha-ha! But the Chinese stalls all closed already, so we simply chose a Malay stall, and settled down.

Tom yam bihun

~My tom yam bihun. I think this was under average, tasted not that good. The soup was not enough spices and tasted quite plain.

Hailam mee

~My boyfriend’s Hailam mee. This was better than mine, a lots. But still is not really above average. :(

After supper, we went back to motel and had a good night sleep.

Saturday

For your information, Muar is famous with a lots of delicious and authentic dishes, such as otak-otak, wantan mee, fried prawn mee, oyster egg, to be name a few. Due to the huge varieties and high demand of food from 4 of us, (actually mostly me & my boyfriend!) we had to woke up earlier to start our food journey, to avoid same situation of sold out happen again.

Me!

~My morning attire… This singlet was gifted by my elder sister, for no reason. Hehe…

Breakfast

~These were our breakfast…

After filled up our stomach, as a tour guide, i must bring them to Muar’s biggest shopping mall, yet smaller than Ampang Point in Kuala Lumpur…

Due to Deepavali, there was this decoration on the floor. I do not really understand the meaning and purpose of putting this; however, i knew this is Indian’s culture.

Deepavali decoration

The mall was really too small, so we finished loitering very soon. We headed to Shop-in, another shopping mall, Muar’s only cinema are in there; some more, the cinema are mini type. There is a boutique, Levin’s where they got the latest fashion apparels almost the same as Vivi, a Japanese magazine. The price are so cheap that you can eventually grab many clothes. A tee may cost RM15, RM19, or RM28. For shorts and skirts, most of the times are RM28. It is affordable for students to get their daily attires. I got myself a high-waisted floral skirt and a white long Hello Kitty tee! Love it!

Soon after shopping, we digested our breakfast. We bought sushi as snacks.

Me & sushi

Octopus Sushi

At the same time, we drove to Tanjung, a park that couples will go for dating, families go for picnic, and friends go for gathering. There is an area where monkeys gathered, and visitors are allowed to buy snacks to feed them.

It was exciting to fed the monkeys. All of us were so scared that the monkeys will run towards us and jump in the car, as we scrolled down the windows to fed them. So we constantly scroll down, throw the peanuts, scroll up the windows. Ha-ha!

It was quite energy taker. Therefore, we went to a cafe to have our tea time.

~It was quite expensive in this cafe. The waiters are not helpful enough. I felt so weird when i asked him one of the dishes that i do not know what is that, the way he explained sounded this: “It is a basket, place with 5 things in it.” Excuse me, does he solve my puzzle on what food is that? =.=”"

The other one thing i must do when go back to Muar, is hair wash!

after hair wash

~after the hair wash and hair blow, felt so good! :)

4 of us took a short nap before continue our food journey in the evening.
me me!

~My night attire! This floral skirt was bought in Levin’s in that afternoon. Ha-ha! I know i very efficient!

We decided to go to Bentayan and have our dinner. Bentayan is an outdoor food court with varieties of food stalls. I’ve been there since i was young. :) Memories…. We had ordered Oyster egg, duck noodle, otak-otak and yong tau fu.

Yong tau fu

~I only took the picture of this as we were too rushed to finished up the other dishes! Ha-ha! The fish cake looks so cute!

We need to digest ourselves for later wantan mee that we reserved on Friday night. So we went to Tanjung again, but not for monkeys, just to go for a stroll around there.

After the strolling, i called my hometown friend, Nicole to have a tea with us at Light House cafe.

We went back to motel soon after the tea gathering. Bibi had his sleep at almost 1 a.m. while i watched the Gandhi’s life movie until 2.30 a.m. only i went to sleep.

Sunday

We were supposed to check-out at 12 p.m. So we awake from our dreams even though i really felt so sleepy. :(

After breakfast, we went to feed monkey for the last time before we left Muar.

Monkey baby!

Cute boy!

The monkey should be very full at that moment. Ha-ha! Kindness of us to fed him so many packets of peanuts.

We went to take on a boat, which will round the Muar river about 40 minutes. Adults’ fare is RM10 while children’s fare is RM5.

~Got some food before got up to the boat. We just cannot live without food all the times!

It’s time to return after boat trip.

My car so dirty! The monkeys’ footprint everywhere! Yucks!

4 of us

~while waiting for my car to has its showering!

In the evening, i brought my Grandma along with us to have dinner at Star Restaurant. It can be considered as the most famous and reputable restaurant in Muar, delicious, fresh and not pricey.

We had 2 vegetables, 1 tofu, 1 pork, 1 fish, 1 prawns and buns, and three RM 10 sharkfins for the 3 guys and one RM35 sharkfin for my Bibi. Yeah, my Bibi had two! (they were indeed enjoyed!) We also had desserts of longans and pudding. What a contentful dinner for all of us! It only costs RM117 for all!

Finally, we returned to Kuala Lumpur at 8.30 p.m. Glad to had a short break!

Woke up with a happy mood! Dressed up nicely in a green dress with black high-waisted belt, and covered with my black long jackets. :)

I was very hungry since yesterday night. Ready, then i went to McDonald drive-thru to get my breakfast that i’ve been craving for! *I am coming! Lalala~* I had a Sausage McMuffin with egg, a hash brown and a cup of hot tea.

Today i had my Human Personality mid term. It was an hour and our lecturer gave false information regarding the total questions we have; she said is 60 questions, but ended up with 70 questions! Well, i know you may be thinking now, ‘ All right, is just extra 10 questions, what’s the big deal?’ But i tell you what, it really did matter. Because of our perceptions of 60 questions, we tend to adjusted our thinking ability according to the questions and time we have; thus, when we realized there was 70 questions, we became nervous and rushed to completed the questions. So, obviously our last part will be terrible. :(

Anyway, after the exam, i accompanied Evie and Hilary for lunch. I was still full with my McD breakfast, so i only got myself a cup of teh tarik! (malay’s style of tea+milk+their ‘pull’ way to make the tea smoother)

After lunch and a round of chit chat, i headed to my job briefing which is suppose to start at 2.30 p.m. .(it was 1 p.m. when i start driving from my college!!) =.=”

I reached there at 1.30 p.m. and i found parking and remain seated inside my car. I have Human Services exam tomorrow, i stayed in my car to read my materials, i was fully utilised my time! :) What a good girl i am! :D

I finished my briefing at 3.20 p.m. and i drove back to Ampang. I went to eyebrow threading near Ampang Point there. I really love that, even though it is very painful, but the effect can lasts around 2 weeks to 3 weeks before you need to trim again. And guess what? It only costs RM5! Cheap enough right? Hehehe….

I had my lunch and tea time at Oldtown White Coffee, with my dear joined me later for a cup of coffee. Then i stayed there to studied my materials until i finish 1 and a half chapters, only i was willing to leave there.

I finished all materials at 10.20 p.m. and i  had the yam rice that my grandpa cooked. Actually, i do not like yam. But he insisted i must eat, and said the yam is different, is from Thailand, the yam taste nicer and loosen. Well, i really don’t like, no matter how he said. But i still finished up because he was sitting in front of me and kept his eyes close on my plate.

Finally, i can online to check mails as whole day i do not have the chances to do so!

And here comes the surprise!

I received the October newsletter from Sanriotown! And under the bloggers of the month, i saw MINE! Oh my God! I was like, ‘Oh my God! I got that!’ Ha-ha! Cannot even hide my happiness! :D

Blogger of this month!

Thank you Sanriotown! I will continuously update my blog with more of my life and of course, Hello Kitty stuffs and events!

I LOVE HELLO KITTY!!! *muaks*

*I just realized i was the blogger of the week on 9th September 2009 too!

Blogger of the week!

Today is a DOUBLE HAPPINESS for me!

I am going to have my mid term exam tomorrow. I also need to pass up PSY 209 reflective paper tomorrow; resubmit PSY 205 ERB on Tuesday. I was kind of like dizzy and headache when so many things need to be done at once.

Saturday

I woke up at 1.30 p.m. .I wondered why, i seems like very tired, maybe because i had dream, a weird dream again. After i shower, my boyfriend came picked me up and i had my brunch at Tsim Tung restaurant.

 Cheese Baked Rice

~Yeah..It’s a Hong Kong style fish fillet cheese baked rice with white sauce, i asked for extra cheese some more! Of course, additional RM1 charged for that. Many people really cannot finish this dishes, but i can finish it ALONE! You can see how i love this! (or you can say i am just a big eater!)

I had promised to bring my younger brother go eat together after his works. Actually i was intended to surprise him by bringing him to meet with his friend, who he knew at Kluang. Both of the small boy did not know my plan. Ha-ha!

Upon waiting my boyfriend to fetch me, camwhore again…

Me!

~Me with my new Hello Kitty plastic cup with cover! Love it! The blinking eye Kitty so adorable! Do we look alike? :D

My study desk!

~My study desk with Hello Kitty lamp, Hello kitty plastic cup of water, Hello kitty mini ATM machine (is a coin bank!), Hello Kitty mini dustbin, and photo of me when i was 1 year old and photo of me and my boyfriend. On top right corner of the photo, there are 3 Hello Kitty key chains and 1 Hello Kitty memo stick that full with encourager for motivation purpose! Hehe… :)

Sunday

I studied until 4 a.m. in the morning. Then i set my alarm clock at 12 p.m. so that i can wake up and study. Well, i did woke up and showered and had a mini vegetarian mooncake and a cup of Milo as my brunch.

I started to study and i felt hungry. But i need to wait for my boyfriend to fetch me as he drove off my car. Guess what, i had been waiting until 5.30 p.m only he came to fetched me.

Sweet and spicy chicken chop with rice

~It’s sweet and spicy chicken chop with rice. It was quite delicious, the only thing is that the chicken kind of like over-fried and it became very dried and a bit difficult to chew. Overall, it was a okay dishes. Oh yeah, this is from Station 1 cafe. Feel free to try this out!

I returned after my proper lunch+tea time+dinner. I left 1 chapter to follow up and jot down some notes.

Me again!

~Me studying… Argh…I not yet do my reflective paper….. I am going to do it now… Catch up with you guys soon! Wish me luck for my mid term! Thanks lots!
