Tonight i had given a chance to enjoy my late dinner (coz’ was around 10p.m.) at an authentic French restaurant, which is name as ‘La Bouchon’. Why i said i was given a chance? This is because my boyfriend had worked for this restaurant for their air-conditioner, and the boss said he would pay RM1200 and the balance RM300 for my boyfriend and his family to enjoy meal at his restaurant. Is kinda barter right? Food for service! Ha-ha!
When i first reached, i was quite satisfied with the atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant. We sat down on the table that they already reserved and prepared for us.
They served these for us:
It was so hard!! I need to pull the bread at the same time when i bit it!
But i do like this:
A round slice butter! Taste and smell good!
After a while, the waiter served up some pastries.
Maybe i am not so use to French food. The round pastries with a black thing on top, i felt it was a bit sour, and i don’t like it. For the square one, it was acceptable.
I had ordered a roasted honey duck.
The duck meat were not cook enough, you still can see some blood there. I think this is to bring out the freshness of the duck meat, just like beef, if it is well-done, you cannot really taste the freshness. But to me, the duck meat taste quite awful, so i did not finish it.
Anyway, we did took some photos there. But the light was too dim, so the photos may seem blur.
She was trying to acting funny on the table napkin!
Here is my darling, with his cool posing!
There are a fish pond outside the washrooms.
All the red wine corks here!
These are all the bottles they put there, i think for decorations purpose.
I love this one!
Finally, it was me!! I wore this little black dress to match the atmosphere! In fact, my hair was clipped with a flower clip at the back, but can’t see from this picture…
Okay, here comes the highlight of the meal. Guess what? This dinner costs around RM700!!!! Which means we need to add up another RM400 after deducted the RM300 from the boss!! What???!!! 8 of us went, but only 6 ordered main courses, 3 drinks, 2 half dozen escargots, that’s all. We did not ordered much. You know what, we can use this RM700 to eat at Victoria Station for so many meals! All of us said it was a losing proposition. At the end, my boyfriend only earn RM800 from this deal…
