I’m so excited with this new kaiju piece. It’s actually meant to be customized by selected artists, thus the blank state. The look kinda reminds me of the pocket kaiju, Super Puncher that was released last year during Uglycon Tokyo.

Note that all of the My Friend Dave pieces are works of art. They are not toys that can be played with and thrown in the air or be given to the dog. All of the pieces that will be made are special and one of a kind and should be treated with utmost care.

Almost had a heart attack when I saw the custom Babo line-up made by Bwana Spoons for the Grass Hut show for the month of September. He made 10 special Babos for the event!

I already bought one before the show even opened to the public. Was tempted to get more than one, but toy budget didn’t allow me. Hehe. Can’t wait to get mine after the show. XD

An Uglydoll with cute puppy dog ears.  That’s Uppy (sounds like puppy). XD

I’m very happy with this year’s SDCC. All of the Uglydoll-related goodies in my want list were acquired…plus more stuff that I wasn’t expecting! XD

Fans were told that the very last production Uglydoll Kaiju piece was the Pink Babo which was sold during the last day of the convention. It’s not the end of the Kaiju line though since customized pieces will show up soon. Wasn’t expecting for them to show up this quick! XD

Play Imaginative will be releasing the mini Ugly Dolls Handphone Strap & Zipper Pull at Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) on 14-16 August 2009. It will hit the stores shortly after STGCC.

More reason to go to Taipei Toy Festival…
