Geeez…I haven’t posted here lately. It doesn’t mean that I totally abandoned my Uglydolls fandom. I have just been pretty busy lately. I still buy Uglydolls and other Horvath-related stuff even if I’m busy! Hehe.
Let’s see what I got so far…
- Menta Ice-bats (Both blue and white eyes that was released last 2007 at the first Deharavath. Yey! Been jumping up and down with these. I’m glad I waited and didn’t pay flipper price. XD)
- Uglydolls Postcard Set
- Little Uglys Babo in Purple (Also wanted a Babo’s Bird to match it but it was out of stock.)
- Uglydoll Kaiju Babo with cookie shop (Solid Blue and In the Dark versions. I already have these, but the local store had them on super sale. LOL!*)
- Uglydoll Kaiju Ice-bat (Clear Glitter version. My third one!* O_o Will probably have it customized.)
- Flatwoods Monster (Fire-type version. I want to complete all 13 versions. XD Oh no…my shelf space!)
- Grass Nut Bear Qee
- Signed and doodled (by David Horvath) Bossy Bear book
- God Noupa
- Little Bony plush
- Toothy Turtle (Yellow GID and Standard version)
- Super Puncher
Hmm…I still lack a lot of stuff. @_@ Oh well, will just wait when the price is right.
*LOL! What’s the deal in buying the same thing over and over again? XD Some collectors have a rule to always buy in duplicate or even triplicate or even more. — One to open. One to keep. One to show-off. One to customize. The list could go on. Hehe.

An Uglydoll is actually getting more attention than President Obama. O_o
See that turquoise doll clinging to Sasha’s bag? That’s actually Babo’s Bird! Hehehe.
Check out the full story here.
Because of this, I think the Uglies will need their own Secret Service now. XD

Uglycon 3 (Uglycon GR2 NYC) just started last December 6, 2008 and they have a lot of really cool stuff, mostly handmades and plushies though. Here’s one of the exclusives they have.
It’s Poe! I hope I can get one at a cheap price. I have to adopt one for my exclusives family. Hehe.
Saw some paintings from the pictures of those who attended and they were all great. I think each painting is $400. Yikes!

I mentioned in my previous post about Icebat’s brother. Well, here they are together now!
BROTHERS! XD

These are both Uglycon versions, but from different years. Red Icebat was from Uglycon Tokyo 2008. The other one is Sleepy Chilly Icebat from Uglycon GR-San Francisco 2007.
They both look so adorable! So soft and cuddly, too! XD

Ok, I didn’t attend Uglycon Tokyo. I sure wish I was there to buy those acrylic paintings…Oh well…next time!
Got these cool event exclusive stuff from the store though.
*versions
Winged Black Abima (edition of 25) Uglycon Tokyo 2008 Exclusive
Seasick Babo (edition of 100) Uglycon Tokyo 2008 Exclusive
Red Icebat (edition of 25) Uglycon Tokyo 2008 Exclusive
Among the 3, I couldn’t decide what to get. I already had my eyes set on the Seasick Babo to pair up with my Little Sailor Babo. As for the Winged Abima, this might be the only chance to own him in his winged form. Icebat, on the other hand, is a favorite when it comes to special pieces, and his brother is already waiting for him. So, I ended up getting all 3!

I got this photo from Flickr (my.pink.butterfly.).The owner sure has a lot of Uglydolls and he/she made this color wheel using his/her precious dolls. Really creative! XD

I still don’t have that much dolls. I want to own a lot one of these days. But right now, I’m focusing on completing the vinyl and kaiju figures. Even though the solid pieces are few, they’re very hard to find. I must focus! Hehe.

BOO! I really love this Uglydolls! XD He’s so paranormally cute!
"Ugly Ghosts can be found way out beyond the back exits of Uglytown. If you ever decide to go camping near those trees just beyond the gates of the big city, you may be lucky enough to see one! Boo! Boo! Is that some sort of scare tactic or is he trying to tell you his name? Or is it Karaoke night? Hard to tell. But one thing is certain…Ugly Ghosts are good to have around if you can find a way to make friends with them. Try leaving out some sweet snacks under the bed."

We’ve seen him at the tags of the Uglycon 2007 Sleepy Chilly Icebat plushies. Now he’s finally here! First seen at SDCC 2008, but they’re not really convention exclusives. Even the Kaijus are not exclusive and will be available online for those who weren’t able to attend the convention. 400 pieces of the plush were made. I hope I will be able to get one. Hehe. XD

I got this 16 inch Spider Boom plush a month ago.
The mother of all spiders. She’s really huge and can be used as a pillow! But I’d rather not sleep on her, she’s safely tucked in her ziploc bag to keep the dust and dust mites away. XD
*GASP* HAIRY SPIDER!!!
