More Temporary Jewelry by Katharina Ludwig
In addition to the Ice Jewelry by the same designer mentioned in the previous post, here are more temporary jewelry made out of other unconventional materials:

The whole point of this Temporary Jewellery collection, according to Katharine Ludwig, is to emphasize that wealth, beauty, and status, things that are usually associated with jewelry, disappear (or dissolve) easily when they’re not being taken care of.
The water soluble yarn necklace looked appealing to me… that is, until I found out it was made out of water-soluble yarn.
More eccentric/philosophical pieces in her site. Check out the Organ Bottle accesories (water bottles shaped like human organs - stomach, kidneys), Sugar bowl and spoon (yes, they’re made out of sugar!), Memory Scarf, and the Pigment shirts (which are kind of cool, really!).

Those are very interesting. And it’s sort of a good message she’s sending about how the richness will fade if it’s not taken care of.
I actually like the artificial sweetener necklace!
And thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. ♥

ohosoalyse: This collection is actually pretty cute and I identify with the message more than Ice Jewellery collection. This makes more sense to me.
mrsawesomeplanet: hahah I’m wondering about the same thing. If you check out her blog though, you’ll see more “philosophical” type of work. They’re more like works of art than accessories…

i hope she can make jewelries made of chocolates or m&m’s.

osang: those will redefine the word “temporary” because of the rapidity of its disappearance. hahaha!
