Designer… nails?
I found this feature and photo at Shopaholic Universe. This is the official Christian Louboutin manicure, featuring the ever-famous black and red combo. The manicure features black nail polish on top, and red polish underneath the nails. Of course, you’re wondering, how expensive is it (since it’s Christian Louboutin, after all!)? Well, ladies and gentlemen, lacquering up your nails with these two colors will set you back 35-80 pounds (P2,800-6,400) (according to Shopaholic Universe). I have no words.

Wow, if a pair of CL shoes is included in that deal, then by all means, lacquer my nails with some o’ that CL. But otherwise… I’ll stick to cheap DIY polish.
Hand me that bottle of Caronia.

Nice shoe = deadly weapon?

Wow! Expensive! Then you’re going to remove them for like after a week. @_@ Yes, DIY nail polish indeed or go to a reasonable salon for the service but bring your own nail polish bottle. (they actually lower their fees if you bring your own)

how about nail cremes from TFS?
Caronia somewhat leaves a nasty stain on your nails.

Cookie: Hmm now that you mentioned it, it could be! It looks like you can knock someone unconscious with it. haha!
fairlady-z: Yes, it’s going to be really painful to have to remove them when they’re all chipped and ugly… Oh I did that the first time I went to the salon for a manicure, but they didn’t give me a discount!
Can you suggest a salon that does?
dianasyaya: oooh u know i lurve me some Face Shop polish… heheh! I was just trying to drive my point home with the cheap nail polish thing… Caronia is dirt cheap, but I wont use it on my nails. They chip so fast!

That is too much! I’ll stick to DIY nails too, thank you very much.
Caronia party!

Same here and I think I am quite good at doing nails. HAHA. Okay okay, at least for one colour coating. I always paint my own nails. Also I think it isnt one of the most long-lasting kind of thing. Even if you use super duper tough paint, your nails will still outgrow the paint in about a week’s time.

I’m not good at using nail polish so I stick with reasonably priced brands just like Face Shop (I did get Shiseido nail polish on sale. I hope they put those on sale again XD). It’s fun to experiment. Sometimes I just apply a thin coat then remove after a day or two. It’s such a waste if I use really expensive brands.
As for the salon that reduces the fee when you bring your own bottle, try Aura Salon along Katipunan Road. I think Piandre also does that.

fairlady-z and tingal97: YES, I absolutely agree. Buying expensive polish is such a waste! I never even get to finish half a bottle! The only way to use them up is either to paint about 100 nails or use them as art supply.
Oh… I heard Piandre at Timog (?) does really good eyebrow waxing
(Went a bit off topic there. :p)

I’m not a fan of polishing my nails bec I don’t like the stain. I prefer the unpolished look hehehe
Have you tried eyebrow threading? I think that is another alternative to waxing. You can still have pain but it is tolerable.
