I like taking pictures - mainly of scenery. I’m not really a people picture taker kind of person. And I’m not really a person who likes having my picture taken either lol

I would love to take a course in photography but I’ll need a new camera.

For now, my newest hobby is lomography.

What is lomography you ask? Lomography is casual snapshot photography. Usually the cameras used are considered “toy” cameras. Characteristics of pictures are: over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring and/or “happy accidents”. For more information, click here.

The motto is “Don’t think, just shoot”.

The ten golden rules

1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go.
2. Use it anytime — day or night.
3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
4. Shoot from the hip.
5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
6. Don’t think.
7. Be fast.
8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you’ve captured on film.
9. You don’t have to know afterwards, either.
10. Don’t worry about the rules.

I have a photobucket and a flickr account - right now you can view the photos that I have on flickr (see link on the right). Only a small portion of my pictures are on flickr - one day I will get around to uploading everything.
