Egg Carton Spiders

Supplies needed: this is an easy way to make spiders using egg cartons, crayons or markers, scissors, and pipe cleaners. Googly eyes are a nice touch.

1.    Separate one cup from an egg carton. 2.    Using the point of a scissors, an adult should make 8 small holes (4 on each side) at the base of the cup. 3.    Insert a pipe cleaner into each of the holes for legs. 4.    Draw a face and decorate the body.

Use it as a Harvest Planter:

Scoop out the inside membrane and clean. Fill with a little water and use as a vase. Fill the vase with natural twigs, grasses, and harvest mums for a beautiful autumn centerpiece.
