so i was hoping to start with a fresh new year to try accomplishing my resolutions again. yesterday 1/1/09 i woke up late around 9am, ate oatmeal w/flaxseed, eggs and white bread, apple, thai noodles w/chicken and mushroom soup. walked for 1/2 hour.

today 1/2/09 had oatmeal for brkfst, meatloaf, tapioca pudding, apple, yogurt for lunch, pita chips, and veggie noodle soup for dinner. walked for 20 minutes today, woke up around 7:30am. spent about $16 today.

Yet again trying to aim for perfection. At least 21 days of sticking to my goals. Brkfst: Cereal & soy milk. lunch: chicken noodle soup, tea, dinner: veggie soup, water, cola, soy nuts. Woke up at 6:30am, walked 1 hour. want to do laundry and buy some kibble $41, dinner $20, and maybe a kong.

gratitude journal: 5 things i’m thankful for today:

1. good health, no pain and lucid

2. wealth, having a good paying job being able to buy the things i want

3. freedom, living in a democratic country not ruled by dictators

4. health & wealth of my loved ones

5. my significant other, not having to be on the singles scene - oh so pathetic when i am

Starting over for the millionth time, this time my goal is to make it at least 21 days. Brkfst: cereal, Lunch: brown rice & tofu, bacon bits, Dinner: Udon soup & gyoza, sweet ice tea. walked 1/2 hour this morning, woke up at 6am, would like to wake up at 5am to have more time in the mornings, ate a little healthier, spent $65 on a static mat. $10 on plastic tarp.

today i had cereal for brkfst, lasagna, rice n’ tofu for lunch, and dinner yet to be announced. woke up around 6am, i am waking earlier and taking more walks but still haven’t mastered the art of eating healthier. got a long way to go. Spent $16 on a new collar and plastic bowls.

Halfway into year 2008 and my new years resolutions didn’t last very long, 3 weeks at most i think. ok, now i will attempt to start over once again. i have been pretty good with waking up early n’ more exercise lately but still binging on junk food.

so, as of today, sunday, june 22, 08, i resolve to attain my 7 goals to a better life.

Woke up around 7:20am, got to work on time. forgot my breakfast. had some pretzels, whole wheat spagetti w/tomato sauce & ground turkey, yogurt, apple. dinner I had a chicken caesar salad but it had a lot of cheese and was drenched in creamy dressing. later had a stomachache. Note to self to never eat the caesar salad again. walked about 1 hour. have a long way to go to get in shape again. just read an article on bbc.co.uk that say a belly over 32 inches is higher risk for diseases and i’m over 32 inches. i want to lose 20 lbs. this time i won’t fail!

Starting over yet again. It’s so so hard to stay on track with New Year’s resolutions. Failed so many times and restarted to have a perfect record. It’s the striving for perfection that kills me everytime. So today I’m going to try starting over again. Woke up at 7:10 am which is earlier than usual for me, would like to start getting up at 6am but I need to go to bed earlier. Ate oatmeal and apples for breakfast. The day is not over yet so we’ll have to see how it goes.

woke up at 8:05am today - i really wanted to sleep more, it was soooo hard to get up, but i didn’t want to have a headache again so i forced myself out of bed. didn’t really eat healthier, jogged for 10 mins, walked for 30 mins, spent $7 on groceries. did laundry today.

brkfst: oatmeal w/flaxseed oil, lunch: canned chicken noodle soup, canned italian wedding style soup, pomegranate, 9 bite-sized chocolate wafers, french onion sun chips, coffee w/sugar n’ cream, dinner: beef noodle salad

woke up at 7:20am, about 5 mins late for work. used less internet today, no exercise, didn’t buy anything today. ate semi-ok

brkfst: oatmeal, HK fruit snacks, lunch:apple, beef stroganoff tv dinner , wheat crackers, dinner: chicken tacos, fried nachos

woke up at 7:30am about ten mins late to work, less Internet goal achieved today, ate healthier, but i spent $6 on household knick knacks from a going out of business store. walked for 1 hour.

brkfst: oatmeal & flaxseed oil, lunch: teriyaki chicken & white rice, broccoli, walnuts, dinner: grilled chicken, meatballs, okra, mushrooms, white rice
