Hey everyone!! Rememeber that I told you that I would make a story for my next post? So, here it is! Hope you enjoy. it’s the Siopao Brothers. Yay for Sio and Pao!

                                                  “Scare Beware”

After the Siopao Brothers had escaped the island they were stranded in, they boarded a ship. And of course, all the people there wanted to eat them. So, now we see our good old friends Sio and Pao, running away from the hungry people. Even though they just ate lunch, perhaps they needed dessert. “Aah! Get them away from me!!” Sio cried. “Hey, you’re not the only one who needs those people away!” Pao replied.  “We must eat them!” cried one person. “No way! They’re mine!” said another.  Sio and Pao ran in a corner, but they realized they were in a dead end.  The people caught up to them. “Finally! we can eat dessert!” said one, drooling with delight. As they approached the two, Sio said,”Is this the end….?” Then suddenly, a voice crackled in a speaker. “Everyone, we’ve made some improvement in our cafeteria. We have now a dessert bar where you could eat all the dessert you want! In a cheap price,” it said. All the people listened attentively. “Did he say a dessert bar?” asked one. “Of course he did! Now let’s go and eat!” replied another. They quickly raced off into the cafeteria. “That was a close one,” said Sio.  “if that annoucement didn’t reach us, we could have been goners!” “I know, we’ve better be more careful around other humans. They could make a meal out of us you know,” replied Pao.  “Yeah, except Hannah and the chef.” said Sio.  They quickly went to a box, which is their room. It had the words Siopaos’ Room written on it with a marker. Not the prettiest room, but its very comfortable for the Siopao Brothers.  It had a couch, but it was really cotton; so was the bed. It had a table, which is really an old pencil case. They had a flashlight as a bulb. Technically, it sorta looked like a toy room. But the Siopao Brothers call it home. “Pao, when do you think we should get out of this ship?” asked Sio. “When we reach a place where there is a city, and most importantly, with people on it. I don’t want to be stranded like we were in that Island.” replied Pao. “Say, what do you think that island is called?” asked Sio. “Well, since no people lived there; and its quite a small island, so I’ll call it, Tiny Survival Island.” replied Pao. “Tiny Survival Island huh? That’s a pretty catchy name,” said Sio. “Yup. Since it was small and we had a tough time in there, so I called it, Tiny Survival Island.” said Pao. When night fell, the Siopao brothers slept soundly at their box room.  Meanwhile, they don’t know that something, or someone, wants to take a bite out of them.                                                                  

“Are we ready?”   ”Yeah. And we’ll be ready for it.”

“What was that?” asked Sio, waking up. “What’s the matter Sio?” asked Pao. “I swore I heard something out there,” replied Sio. “Let’s go investigate.” said Pao. They went out of the box and looked around. Nothing. “Maybe it as just your imagination.” said Pao. ”But I swear I heard it,” Sio insisted.  Then they heard a creeping sound. And it was getting closer. “P-pao, I think something is behind us.” Sio said slowly. “Gotcha!” said a voice from behind. Sio and Pao jumped away. They saw four people, drooling at them. “Uh, hello, good evening,” said Sio slowly. “Good evening,” replied  one. “W-what are you doing so late in the night?” asked Pao. “We’re here for a midnight snack.” replied another. “Oh. is that so? No wonder you’re drooling.” said Sio. “That’s not what he meant Sio, He means us!” Pao exclaimed. They pounced on the two but luckily, they dodged and ran away. “We won’t miss next time,” said the leader. They ran after the two Siopaos. “I hate this!” Sio cried. “Being on a ship isn’t so great after all,” said Pao. “But remember what the chef said?” asked Sio. Just be careful then, it’s a dangerous world out there, “Yeah. he said that it’s a dangerous world out here; especially for us.” replied Pao. They turned to the left, where they bumped into a person. As the four went after them, the person said,”Leave them alone! They’re more than just a midnight snack!” They quickly scurried away like spiders. “Who are you?” asked Pao. “You know me,” the person replied. “Her voice sounds familiar,” said Sio. “she couldn’t be…..” “Hannah!” said Pao. “That’s right,” she chuckled, turning on the hallway lights. They remember her pretty long hair, her brown eyes, her warm smile, and of course being the daughter of their creator, the chef. “What are you doing here?” asked Sio. “My father sent me here. he was worried about you two,” replied Hannah. * * * ** *

“Hannah, I want you to come here,” said the chef. “What is it father?” asked Hannah. “I’m worried; about Sio and Pao.” said the chef. “Why is that so?” asked Hannah. “Well, I know they said they would be careful, but, it’s just that since they are siopaos, and siopaos are food. They could be in danger a lot of times, since people love to eat them.” said the chef. “Especially the skin,” replied Hannah, chuckling. “Listen, I want you to go with them on their adventures. No matter how hard their adventures might be, I want you to go.” said the chef. “Me? Go with Sio and Pao?” Hannah asked, startled. “Yes.” replied the chef. “Well, I’ll do it! It’ll be even more hard for poor little Sio and Pao without me,” replied Hannah proudly. “That’s good.” smiled the chef. She packed her things, and was ready to go. As she was about to go, her father came. “Hannah, it might be hard for me, without you here, but it’s for the sake of Sio and Pao.” said the chef. “I will father,” said Hannah. “I will.”

“Wow, who knew that he really cared for us,” said Sio. “Yeah. Underneath that hat of his, I guess he really cared for us.” replied Pao. “But that still doesn’t explain why are you here too.” said Sio. “It was a coincedence. I too, was taking a ship ride as well,” said Hannah. The next day, they were finally going to drop off. “Natatic Island, we’re here at Natatic island!” a voice yelled. They took off the ship and they were finally at Natatic Island.
