Hello Kitty Online receives another positive review, this time from Examiner!  Tucson Video Game Examiner Tara Foulkrod took a peek at the North American closed beta of Hello Kitty Online and she liked what she saw.

According to her review:

“The graphics are smooth, and what you would expect from the Hello Kitty world.  Very detailed and very much from a fantasy world.  The controls are easy to master, and the quests are relatively easy to finish.  Very child friendly, and very friendly in general.  I’m going to give this game an 8.0/10…”

One of the unique aspects of Hello Kitty Online is the integration of online social networking services. We are now improving that further! We are expanding Hello Kitty Online’s blogging features through Adventurer’s Journal: an in-game feature that allows players to post real time blog entries about their farms and houses.

Players will be able to show everyone their farm and house status, their wonderful farm designs, new furniture, interior arrangements and more in their blogs. A special in-game window will allow you to update your blogs and post some in-game images without leaving the game!

Starting today at exactly 12:00 (GMT+8), Gloot.net will be hosting their Commercial Preview for HKO. This launch serves as their Open Beta, where players will be able to access the Item Mall and enjoy special events led by the Game Masters.

To participate in the commercial preview, sign up for an account at SanrioTown South East Asia, download the client from the Gloot.net download page, and log-in to the game using your SanrioTown SEA email address.

SanrioTown just released a new theme for all our bloggers, and this time it’s featuring a map that we’re sure all of our HKO players are familiar with — Sanrio Harbour! This map marks the start of the adventures in Sanrio Land, so new and veteran players alike will surely find this theme endearing.

To activate this map, log-in to your SanrioTown.com account and click on “New Themes” in your blog’s control panel. Click on “HKO Harbour” and voila! Have fun recording your adventures in HKO!

The Philippines is now in on the Hello Kitty Online fun! HKO Philippines, which is published by Level Up! Games, will be having their very own Founders’ Beta soon, and they’re inviting people to be part of the first group to enter Sanrio Land through the Philippine portal. The first commercial final release of Hello Kitty Online is now live in Indonesia! GOGAME, the exclusive publisher of Hello Kitty Online in Indonesia, announced the game’s commercial launch on July 1, 2009.
