Miso-glazed Sea Bass

Makes 4 servings


1/3 cup sake
1/3 cup mirin
1/3 cup white miso paste
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs soy sauce
4 (180 g) sea bass fillets (~ 3/4 inch thick)
1 stalk green onion, chopped


1) Mix sake, mirin, miso paste, sugar and soy sauce together. Add fillets and coat well with mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 to 6 hours.

2) Preheat broiler. Remove fillets from marinade. Broil fillets 6 inches from heat source until cooked, ~10 mins. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve.
