Whenever I start to come close to payday, I start browsing Ebay. If I have some money over after bills and food has been payed I always try to buy something fun for myself. Here are some of the things I have my eyes on.

A Hello Kitty Bathrobe! What more could a girl ask for? I’m in need of a bath robe, I’ve gone a whole year without one and really miss it, so maybe this will be my next Hello Kitty buy? 

And then we have cell phones. Ok, I bought a new cell phone less than a year ago, but it doesn’t have Hello Kitty on it. We don’t have cell phones this cute in Sweden! =^.^=

Why don’t swedish McDonalds have theese? I never go to McD anymore (I like Burger Kings burgers better) but if they’d put theese in their Happy Meals, I’d buy meals until I got them all!
But no.. I’ll have to do with Ebay. Theese 2 are my favourites so it’ll probably be one of those (or both).

Did you know that today (September 21st) is the International Day of Peace? I didn’t until today. Reading about it makes me feel like it is something I’ve heard of before, but not much or I would have remembered it.

I quote from the site I just linked to:

And today I added a new item to my collection. Again, it’s candy/toy, and again it’s from where I work. The candy is too sweet and I don’t like it at all, but the item is well worth the money for me.
It’s a Sticker Dispenser full with cute little Hello Kitty stickers. Well not only Hello Kitty, it’s other snario characters as well (My Melody, daddy Anthony and so on). Isn’t it cute?

I am really curious by nature. So when I read sugar-trips blog, I really enjoyed looking into her bag. It’s fun seeing what others carry with them on an usual day. I’m gonna be a copycat today and do the same meme.

“Show the bag you use everyday in a photo. Show everything that was inside of the bag, honestly! Arrange items neatly, don’t just dump your bag out and take a quick photo or we might not be able to see what’s inside very well! List what your items are!”

This is my favourite bag. I bought it used from a member on a swedish cat forum and got it really cheap although it looked brand new. And inside I have the following:
*My pink umbrella - if you bring it, you know it wont rain
*My wallet - the Hello Kitty one, of course
*Hello Kitty bandages - cause I’m clumsy, as you know 
*Pain Pills
*My MP3 (2GB) - which is new and which I love! It’s so pink and tiny, how can you not love it? Bought really cheap on Ebay
*My gloves - cause Sweden is cold
*A tiny flashlight - you never know when it might come in handy. I also won it when I participated in my first talentshow singing - got 1st place *proud*
*My cellphone - explanation unnecessary
*My calendar - personal and mostly “designed by me” through this awseome swedish webpage where you can make your own personal calendar
*2 LipBalms
* A small mirror
*Nail clipper, nail file and tweezers along with some hairbands - not sure why I still have those hairbands in there, not much I can do with them now that I cut off my hair…
*Hair spray - or my hair will go flat instantly

Right before I headed off to work I saw that the official HKO blog had just put up a post about an exclusive new interview with ten ton hamster.

Unfortunatelly I was late for work, so I couldn’t read it, but I was only going to work for 3 hours so I wasn’t too bumbed out about it. I did skim through it though and got stuck on “Some of you might have been lucky enough to have gotten into the Founder’s Beta coming in October.” I freaked, cause I hadn’t received a mail and I quckly went through some blogs and the forum to see if anyone had gotten it. It seemed like noone had (or noone was telling) so I calmed down for a bit.

But.. At work there was some people who had called in sick and 3 hours quickly became 6 hours. It was horrible! I couldn’t concentrate on work cause all I was thinking about was reading the interview and updating my mail for more news about Founders’ Beta. I gave back change to the wrong person, I didn’t gave back change at all. I mixed up the grocerys and so on and so on…

At last I just got home and logged in. 1 new mail! That’s when I started hyper ventilating and I haven’t stopped yet. I got in! I’m “now officially a Hello Kitty Online Founder!”

*jumping around like a crazy cow*

Have you got your mail yet? If you haven’t, don’t despair. For one thing they probably need to send them out in batches, so you may get it soon. For the other they are still trying to increase the number of Founders and are still asking for more people to send in e-mail (they even said so in the mail about me being a Founder).

Anyways; back to the interview. There are some interesting things to read in there. Some of the Founders’ Beta-things I noticed was the following:
*”There is a Founders’ Beta coming up that will run from October 8 to November 5.”
*”They also get to keep their characters and possessions even after the end of the Founders’ Beta.”
*”Hello Kitty’s birthday is November 1st so we are planning a special in-game celebration for the occasion.”
Now that makes me very excited (even more if that’s possible).

I wish there was a faster way to make friends here in Sanrio while we wait for HKO to start. Forums are fun, but sometimes pretty still and unmoving. Blogs are fun, but when I’ve visted the last 10 updated blogs I have nothing more to do. I really wish there was a Hello Kitty IM I could download. Then I could add people and talk to them when they are online.

Of course, I could always use some other IM, but it seems weird to say “hey, can I get your MSN/AIM/Skype/[insert whatever IM you can think of]?”. It would be easier to say “Do you mind if I add you?”

Ah, anyways.. I’ll just wait for my IM-dream to come true (or wait for the HKO, which will probably come sooner)

So it seems that the 20,000 slots have been filled. But they are trying to increase the quota, so if you haven’t sent your e-mail in yet, you need to hurry up! 

But the part that I got stuck on was:
“To those who have already applied, please keep checking your SanrioTown account. We will be notifying you this week to let you know if you are one of the Founders.”

You know what that means, don’t you? No sleep for noli! I will be parked in front of the comp 24/7, checking my mail every 2 minutes. Just making sure I got in. So, good luck to you all, hope I’ll see you in-game in october
