“Special”-my new favorite Chinese word.

This morin’, while my mom was fixin some books, I found this PILIPINO-ENGLISH-CHINESE dictionary. I asked her if I could have it, she said yes.

I want to know a few Chinese words, well, ‘cuz I’m practically 3/4 Chinese, and sometimes, I can’t even understand what my other relatives are talking about. So, there.

I’m still trying to memorize the Chinese Alphabet:

I got this from a forwarded email, and this is true.

There is a little girl in China who lost her legs in an accident, and her name is  Qian HongYan. Her family is poor, so they couldn’t afford to buy her prosthetic legs. She uses a basketball to help her move, and uses 2 wooden props to drag herself… Here are some pictures:

Today’s the start of our looong weekend! Today’s Independence Day, so we don’t have school ‘cuz DUH! It’s a holiday… Tomorrow, still, there’s no school ‘cuz it’s a holiday too but I’m not so sure which holiday…

And if we don’t have school today & tomorrow, Thursday Friday + Saturday & Sunday!!!

Well, done with our homework since yesterday… On Monday we have a quiz on the Dewey Decimal System. Look, I memorized it already:

Hey everyone,

Today is the third day of my new Grade 7 life…

Our school started last June 8, Monday. I was happy to see my friends, but when I was placed in section 3, (last year I was in section 4), I became lonely. It’s hard to adapt to my new environment, but I guess it’s a bit o.k. now ‘cuz I’m already friends with my new seatmate, Kate.

Our new students in the class are Angela, Shayne, and Clarisse.
Angela, I don’t really know her that much, actually… But I’m already friends with Shayne. With Clarisse, she’s a filipina but lived in Florida all her life.

Our teacher in the class is Ms. Evie. I just met her this year, so, I’m still getting used to her. Well, there’s nothing much to say ’bout her but she’s kind, and good at handling our section.

ELECTIONS, ELECTIONS…

We also had our elections today. Soo, here are our elected officers of 7-3:

Well, tomorrow we don’t have school ‘cuz it’s our INDEPENDENCE DAY.

We celebrated Philippines’ INDEPENDENCE DAY in school today, and we had to stay under the SUN! It’s was sooo HOT today in front of the flagpole.

And on Friday, we don’t have school neither…
I can’t remember why. But I know it’s a holiday… :P

 Nothin’ else. Our formal lessons start on June 15, Monday.

I’m tellin’ ya’ll this, ‘cuz this is just what I know…

We all know what the 3 R’s are. Of course, there’s the reduce reuse recycle. But we got a new one, don’t ya know?

It’s called REFUSE. Basically, we know that Refuse means to, well, refuse. But in the “Care for the Earth” thing, it means to refuse using plastic bags during groceries, etc.

Here’s the 411 on Plastics!

Do YOU know where plastics go after they dont have any use no more?
Did ya’ll know that plastics stay on the earth forever?

AND! When we throw plastics, they are usually being placed in the ocean, where it clogs dams, and kills fishes. ‘Cuz fishes will eat anything that’s available for them to eat. Now, people eat fish. And when the popularity of the fish dies, we will starve. And take note, the fish in the sea has a really BIG impact on the life of humans.

Here in the Philippines, did YOU see our dumpsites already?

And it really hurts me that a LOT of Filipinos die because of those dumpsites.

Soo, now, do you see the Plastic Problem?

Please, if you don’t want to be affected by the environmental problems in our Earth, try to do the Refuse thing. It’s very easy to buy big bags for your groceries, not small bags, ‘cuz usually, the groceries won’t all fit in the bags, and you eventually have to use plastics…

Hey Ya’ll!!!,

This is still me, and it’s been a looong time since the last time I wrote here on my blog.

Okay, let me tell you what I’ve been doing since I stopped writing in my blog…

k, here it goes… it started when I was studying for my exams, I had my exams and as usual, I passed. Summer came, a few relatives from Texas came here in the Philippines, and we spent 3 wonderful weeks together!
When they left for Texas last Apr. 23, it was a sad day for us, but we still talked together on the computer. Nothing much happened after that. We just enrolled, bought books, I did my book report (on my own!).

That’s pretty much what happened during my summer… And now, I’ll be going back to school as a 7th grader on June 8… Time does fly fast, doesn’t it?

I’ll be writing again soon…
