I haven’t been posting because of work but I was able to rest for a week and just in time for the opening of Hello Kitty Online’s Open Beta. I had been waiting for a long time for HKO and luckily one of my fellow GoPets player (Noliai) was able to remind me of the Founder’s event. I was so happy that I was able to get in since I was able to register for CB before but had no time because of things happening in my life. -_-

So I was so excited and immediately downloaded the torrent file and I installed it after and waited until what seemed like eternity for HKO to be finally up and running. I was able to get in the game two hours after the game opened because I went somewhere (=_=) and I didn’t experience any hitch like other players did (lucky!). I decided to use my name as my characters name which is Thessalonica. Hah, I knew already that I’d get asked by other people if I was Greek because my name was taken from a city there. My Dad named me after the Book of Thessalonians. One even talked in Greek but I said I did not understand it. xD

So far I’m level 12 or 13 already I think. I’ve finally been able to reach Londan (that’s how they spell the map ingame…) and I’ve started my farm! Yay! My strawberry plants have died out already though. =_= Seeds are uber expensive. I need to get more drops from the creatures I stun so I can buy another batch of seeds. :) I was able to talk to several of my GP friends like FreedomDeep, Richter35, noliai, shug and Sassy. Hopefully they stay on the game. I’m loving HKO and if I did not have work, I think I’ll be spending more than 12 hours on it daily. Its so addicting. :D

So in case you see me walking around there, feel free to say hi. Its more fun to play when you have people to talk to instead of just walking around stunning monsters. xD

I used to hear that a lot when I was little and I still hear it when I see a MILO commercial on our local channels. Funny how I never thought of how much it meant before. I used to think that I can’t do great things because I was scared of how big these great things seemed to be. Lately I’ve been thinking I can do anything I want to do as long as I set my mind into thinking that I can do it. No matter how big a task might seem, it can be done as long as you have the initiative to start tackling it not as a whole but in pieces.

Imagine a freshly baked chocolate cake. It didn’t simply become a delightful and delicious dessert by itself. To make the cake, the baker needed to start from scratch. He had to determine which ingredients would be harmonious with each other, gather hisĀ  best ingredients, prepare its measurements into exact quantities, carefully mix and process them, then put them into a prepared oven for a set time to allow these once different ingredients to cook and rise up to the occasion. After it has cooked, the baker then lets his base cake cool down and after it does, he then carefully sets on top of it the beautiful and fragrant chocolate frosting he has made while he was waiting for the cake to cook.

A task or a project no matter how you look at it is just like a cake. You start from nothing, even at times a mess, but after you have given your time and passion to it you finally get a cake that everyone enjoys and appreciates in the end.
