It has been a while since i did something “Bento” related. This one was very simple, more like a challenge to see how much time i spend doing this sort of things. 20 minutes exactly considering the food was already done (only arranged it) still it was very easy to cook.

Contents:

• Surimi salad with carrots and greens
• Lettuce salad with lemon dressing
• Rice with nori and greens
• Cheese and red sausages
• Crackers and small chocolate

This time we didn’t make it in time for the launchment like a year ago (which caused some minor family drama) but was quite inspiring anyway. I guess i’ll never get tired ot watching hot-air balloons floating all over and over, they are amazing! The adventure! the excitement!

Now there are basically two or three things that i instantly think while watching them: Jules Verne, Liberace and all that stuff about sky-pirates or pseudo-steampunk victorian romance from epic sky battles to small worlds floating over. Pretty romantic, i must say. I’ve never been on one (not very fond of heights) but the view must be awesome.

After that we went to see the expiatory temple at the city’s center. There aren’t many gothic buildings here in Mexico, since the new world was discovered and colonized in the barroque period.

Lol, i almost felt as if were in Notre Dame or something… :p
