On this day the one and only legend that is Sonic the Hedgehog has turned 18, congratulations dude!

me and him go back a long way, i first played his games back in 1994 when i got my first games console, the Sega master system, i can still remember never being able to finish sky high zone on sonic 2 or jungle on Sonic 1 (which i still have not been able to complete to this date).

for such a legend to still be entertaining the masses is a truly amazing feat by anyones standards, right?

the first computer game i ever played and my first experience of Sonic was Sonic 2 on the master system

what was your first encounter with the blue dude with an attitude? in game? on TV? or in the comics?

with all the news of bigger more powerful computers and consoles hitting the shops and phones that can do more than needed what do we do with all the technology we don’t use anymore? sell it? trade it? destroy it? or leave it in the loft to rot over time?
I never do anything of the sort i still have my old sega master system from the early 90s and still play it and i still use VHS tapes for recording only because I do not want these great pieces of tech to be forgotten. In fact today i bought myself and old sega Game Gear and a Gameboy Advance SP just so i can re-live some of my old gaming past times. is it not bout time people started to look at what we used to use?

I’m generally considered to be quite a heavy gamer, yet recently i have found more retro games to be more entertaining. I mean how many people would trade a nintendo Wii for a SNES? not that i’ve done that of course =0)

on another note i have decided that a V-log is not going to work out so i am not going to continue
