How are you all doing?

It’s been a while since I wrote a post on this blog and I’d like to tell you why.

I used to write quite often about my adventures in the Hello Kitty Online game, but for a few months now (since before Christmas!) I have not been able to find any more quests. It seems my game is a little bugged. I have nothing left to do because I cannot find any new quests on any of the maps. It’s sad really because I had a group of friends I was playing with and we used to do things together, now they have gone on ahead and I’m stuck wandering around looking for quests, talking to GMs for help and jsut getting frustrated.

I’ve even considered just cancelling my character and starting again, but to redo all those quests from scratch? I don’t know if I want to do that…

So the less time I spend on the game the less time I spend here because I had nothing more to write about, no reason to actually log in here because it just made me upset that I couldn’t go ahead.

Anyway, I hope that you are all having fun and that you enjoyed a lovely Easter break!

Unfortunately things are really hectic around here at the moment and I cannot keep up with blogging no matter how much I might want to sometimes.

So this is to say I’ll be away from my blogs for a while, not sure how long though.

This Week’s Questions:

What do you / did you want to do when you grow up and why?

If you are all grown up now, have you managed to make that dream come true?

My answers:

Well, I’m a dreamer so I’ve had many jobs occupy my dreams about my future! When I was in grade 1 I wanted to be a teacher because I loved the smell of new books and all the stationary and I like being bossy! (I’ve now been a teacher for 2 years!) and when I was still in elementary school I wanted to be a police woman so I could help people and lock bad guys up (not going to happen, LOL…) Then later on in high school I wanted to be an air-hostess, I absolutely loved flying and love the feeling I get at the airport! (I’ve now developed a fear of flying so this is another dream that won’t happen…) I also contemplated architecture since I was tops in my grade for technical drawing and really loved geometry too… (I don’t think this will happen… but you never know!) I later dreamed of being a beauty therapist (and became one - for almost 2 years!) that’s when I came to Italy and studied to become a teacher… At some point I also wanted to be a tour guide! (I might take a course one day, it still interests me!) Now I have lots of interests and I’m sure I’ll never stop learning new things - I love learning new skills and until I find the job that makes me happy and I can do what I enjoy for a living, I’ll keep on studying and searching for my personal dream job! I’m sure it won’t at all be what I expect it to be… but either way, I’ve been blessed so far to always work in a place I loved, except only once, but that was temporary anyways! ;)

 Wow! It’s the tenth week of Sunday Social!

I’m just about to leave for a wonderful day at the lake with my family but *somebody* is late so I have a few minutes to do this before we leave - which leads me to today’s question…

This Week’s Questions:

Have you ever  been late and no matter how hard you tried, everything seemed to go wrong and just make things worse?

Tell us a story about when time was against you and you wished you had a superpower and could stop time!

My answers:

This happens to me quite often actually! I think the clock hates me!

Here’s a typical scene in my house in the mornings:

I set my alarm and it doesn’t go off… or I set it to PM and not AM, eek!

Then I can’t find this shirt or that pair of jeans or those particular earrings that match the outfit… it’s such a rush!

Then I start dropping things… it’s a disaster!

Then just as I finally think I’ve got everything done and I go out the door, I remember I’ve forgotten a very important book or my umbrella, or the scooter keys, or something else and have to dash back into the house! This sometimes happens multiple times in a row!!

Then on really bad days, the scooter decides it doesn’t want to start!?! Argh!!

*whishes to just crawl back into bed and start over*

Phew! Fortunately today is NOT a day like that! I’m early for once, Woohoo!!

I have no time to tag today - they’re calling me to leave now!

Hi there friends!

No, it’s not Sunday today, you haven’t mysteriously lost a day! :)

I just had some time so I thought I’d post some ideas I have had about Sunday Social.

One of the things that might prove to be difficult or negative about Sunday Social is actually the most important part - tagging 3 people!

Why is tagging 3 people so important?

Well, the whole idea for Sunday Social was born from the desire to find new and active blogs to read and to create a kind of blogging community with other bloggers. Many new bloggers are discouraged from blogging when they log on daily only to find they have no comments and dont know if anybody is reading what they write.

Blogging is a very good method to improve writing skills, discuss things with others, share ideas and experiences, etc. Just sharing what you have done or your hobbies or thoughts can also be very helpful in relieving stress and you’d be surprised how many friends you can make through common interests too!

The problem is I know it’s hard to find new blogs to link to each time, some people are having trouble with that, including me! But I have some ideas…

So what’s your idea, Nemo?

Since it’s difficult to find 3 different blogs to link to each week, even linking the same ones occasionally or rotating is ok, there are not that many old, interesting and active blogs out there as far as I can see. People tend to start then give up, but maybe if they are included in something like this meme, then they will see that their writing is not going unnoticed!

Another easy way to get more people involved is to link to some blogs that appear in the “Latest Posts” area of our dashboard! Many of the blogs linked in there are brand new, but that’s ok, they are active at the time of linking. That way we can get some new participants involved too. I’m sure they’d appreciate that they are getting some spotlight and new readers as many of them are new to SanrioTown and blogging and we “veterans” can make them feel welcome and at home! ;)

Another idea I’ve had was in regards to the questions I post each week…

Think of your best holiday - tell us about the destination and why it’s your favourite! My answers:

I’ll have to say Sweden, Stoccholm to be exact. I really loved the organisation, the clean fresh air, the friendly and helpful people, the clean city - no litter, everything was just beautiful! I’d love to go back there again. I really loved the way their roads were divided into lanes for cars and bicycles - even the roads that were being worked on still got divided to cater for pedestrians, cyclists and cars! Fantastic! And another great thing is their nature conservation - all natural sources of water (rivers, lakes, etc) are drinkable!! Now that’s cool! :)Here is my list of 3 SanrioTown blogs for this week:
