Here I am again!
While I was figuring out this whole SanrioTown thingy, it accured to me… Just 1,5 day of work and it’s time for my vacation! FINALLY! This whole year I didn’t have a vacation or what so ever. Oh well… Just a week to Spain and once in a while I got a day off. But maybe you’ll understand, just one week off in a year is NOT ENOUGH! Yeah, I hear you askin’: “Why didn’t you got your vaca earlier?!” Well, my beloved Hello Kitty lovers, because I couldn’t. This trip has been organised by my grandfather. This time of year would be the best to go to Indonesia. The Moluccan to be exactly. For those who don’t know, it’s a group of ilands next to Indonesia.
So for 3,5 weeks I will be sitting in the sun, swimming in the blue sea and just relax… Get my mind of my freakin’ hectic life in Holland! (Yep, Dutch girl in the house!) It’s a little bit scary because of the bombexplosions over there, but they say it’s still save enough to travel to Indonesia. I pray to God everything will go nice and save!
But still, I’m excited to go! Because we’re going to my family! My granddad goes every year and now it’s my turn to go back to my roots. Meet my fam and see how they live there. One thing’s for sure… It’s not the luxurious life I’m used to.. Not that my life is extraordinary luxurious, but if you put it next to what they have, it is! Electricity is not taken for granted.. Every now and than the power will shut down and they’ll have to wait til it goes back on. No washingmachines… One of my aunt’s will go and wash our clothes in the clearest water in the mountains! Can you imagine? Everytime you want clean clothes, you have to search for clean water and then wash it. We’re all too spoiled if you ask me! This is one of the reasons I wanted to go there. To see how they live and don’t take my life for granted!
Hmm, just a few days and I’m of to a warm country! Can’t wait… All the rain, wind and cold is depressing me. So Indonesia… SEE YA IN A FEW DAYS!
