A distant relative of Hio Shizuka, Maria acted as her vessel when she infiltrated Cross Academy. Once there, she told Yuki she had the secret to keep Zero from falling into level E, and in order to gain that secret, she must do one of two things: sacrifice herself, or kill Kuran Kaname.

You can probably guess what Yuki chooses in this photo. Both of them have really well-made dresses too, but didn’t Yuki give that rose on her choker to Zero? Great work still! Thank you for uploading this!

Kuran Kaname is the first ancestor of the Kuran clan who was taken from eternal slumber and forced back into the land of the living by his own descendant, Rido Kuran. While Rido’s purpose in reviving Kaname was to make use of his powers, Kaname was able to kill his master by the use of a “white pawn stained black”, Kiryuu Zero.

Quite impressive that the cosplayer is able to capture Kaname’s look. I love the eyes and how they seem to look right through you. Wonderful job!

When they were young, Zero came to live with Chairman Cross as his family was attacked by a pure-blooded vampire, Hio Sihzuka. Yuki reached out to him as she thought her family had probably disappeared the same way, despite not remembering any of it. Yuki gave Zero a sense of purpose and holds her dearly, not knowing that fate can be even more cruel than he imagined.

Beautiful cosplay! I love the rose petals in this picture. At least now the Ze-ki fans will stop trying to kill me… but Kana-ki is still a nice pairing too. I wonder who will end up with who in the end?

So technically, this week’s unknown cosplay is actually "known". But I’m a little confused.

From the site info, this is Shiki Senri, Kaname’s younger cousin who works as a model along side Rima. But I asked a few people and they think he looks more like Kuran Kaname himself despite the red hair.

So I leave it up to you guys to decide. Is he cosplaying as Shiki, or as Kaname?

Childhood friends Souen Ruka, Ichijou Takuma, and Kuran Kaname are Night Class students of the Cross Academy, and fellow vampires.

Ruka is loyal and dedicated to Kaname, even to the point of loving him. Her feelings are left unrequited because Kaname has chosen Yuki to be his lover. After discovering that Yuki is Kaname’s pureblood sister, Ruka comes to accept Yuki and remains dedicated to Kaname in a mature and level-headed attitude.

Yuki is the adopted daughter of Cross Academy’s headmaster, Kaien Cross. She is a first year student who acts as a Guardian to keep peace and harmony among the Day Class, consisting of mostly human students, and the Night Class, which are composed of vampires.

Despite her affection for Night Class Leader and President, Kuran Kaname, she has a fear of vampires due to her childhood experience of one of them trying to bite her. Kaname is an exception because he was the one who saved Yuki, but after she witnessed his vampire nature of feeding on one of Night Class students, she became distant to him, though her affections stubbornly remained.

Little is known about Kuran Kaname’s unofficial bodyguard, Seiren. She is quiet, reserved, and obey Kaname’s orders absolutely. She is also the first to defend Kaname against any threat, barely restraining herself from killing Zero when he threatened Kaname with the Bloody Rose.
