Graduating from the Soul Society’s Academy after only a year, Ichimaru Gin became captain of the 3rd Division after serving under Sosuke Aizen as the lieutenant of the 5th Division. He joins Aizen when he escapes to Hueco Mundo in order to fulfill Aizen’s plans to “change the world”. The only person he seems to truly care about is Mtsumoto Rangiku, a childhood friend and lieutenant of the 10th Division under Hitsugaya Toshiro.

I have no idea why he’s carrying Gin’s portrait. Maybe to show that the old Gin as a captain is dead and a new Gin, labeled a traitor, is born? It’s scary at how similar they look though. Nice cosplaying!

When they were young, Zero came to live with Chairman Cross as his family was attacked by a pure-blooded vampire, Hio Sihzuka. Yuki reached out to him as she thought her family had probably disappeared the same way, despite not remembering any of it. Yuki gave Zero a sense of purpose and holds her dearly, not knowing that fate can be even more cruel than he imagined.

Beautiful cosplay! I love the rose petals in this picture. At least now the Ze-ki fans will stop trying to kill me… but Kana-ki is still a nice pairing too. I wonder who will end up with who in the end?

Though she plays a more minor role in Advent Children than in Final Fantasy VII, Tifa did battle against Loz and later, against Bahamut SIN. She has shorter hair than her original character design mainly because animating long hair was proven to be quite difficult.

She looks like an older, more mature version of Rinoa to be honest. But I think a few people will get mad at me for saying that. Beautiful cosplay though! And the characters for the cosplayer’s name means “little fish”, Xiao Yi. Great cosplaying!

Actually, I’m not sure whether this is intended to be a cosplay of Ayanami Rei or Ikari Yui.

You see, Rei is only a human vessel, something created in order to contain a soul. She was created by Gendo who had lots his wife during a test experiment on an Eva Unit. Yui disappeared, and it is said her soul resides in Eva.

With such a hair color, this cosplayer appears to be more like Yui than Rei, but I don’t recall Yui wearing a plug suit, so I think Rei would be more suitable. Beautiful cosplay!

The heir of the Yagami Clan and rival of Kusanagi Kyo, Iori wields pyrokinetic powers and is a berserker due to the Orochi demon blood running through his veins. His ancestors helped seal the Orochi Demon along with the Kusanagi and Yata clans. However, the Yagami clan betrayed the Kusanagis, and ended up being cursed the the Orochi. As a result, the Yagami clan have demonic powers that cause them to die at a young age.

Quite impressive. I think this photo has been around the internet for a while. I remember seeing it several years ago, but never found it again until now. Great work!

King Enma Jr., who is more commonly referred to as Koenma, is the son of the ruler of Heaven. He is at least 700 years old, and carries a pacifier that gathers his pure Reiki or spirit energy. When released, the energy acts as a powerful seal to contain dangerous demons.

Although he has an adult form, Koenma commented that he prefers to move around in his baby form. Maybe it’s because of his weapon? I mean, he’s be laughed at for having a pacifier at this age, right? Not that it makes him any less cute.

Anyway, impressive cosplay. I really miss watching this series too. Great work!

The Magic Knight of Water, Ryuuzaki Umi is an only child who is quick-tempered and reluctant on fulfilling her role as one of the three Magic Knights of Cephiro.

During her journey to becoming a Magic Knight, she often wished to return home because of a fencing tournament she is participating in. It is this desire that prevented her from becoming a true Magic Knight, but she overcomes it eventually and revives her rune god before Hikaru or Fuu.

Beautiful cosplay! I believe she’s using her natural hair or some hair extensions, but I like this cosplay a lot even without the blue hair. Great work!
