When Kikyo was still alive, she was a kind a gentle woman who had great spiritual power. She was very intelligent, but she was also very sad because she longed to be an ordinary girl without duties and powers.

This cosplayer got Kikyo’s hair better than Arisa. Although both girls still have their own appeals. Which one do you like better?

Half-brothers, each fulfilling his own destiny. Neither of them are right, and neither of them are wrong, for they only fight for what they believe in to be right and true.

I’m just a little sad this photo is so small and that we can’t see their faces too well. But I really like how this photo was taken. I wonder if anyone knows where to get a higher resolution of this? And how do they compare to the other Inuyasha and Sesshomaru I’ve posted before?

Sesshomaru is the older half-brother of Inuyasha. He is a full fledged Inu Yokai (Dog Demon, literal translation), and is usually stoic and hard to read.In the beginning of the series, he is a ruthless enemy of Inuyasha, wanting to take the Tetsusaiga from him, but Sesshomaru soon becomes compassionate towards Jaken, his servant, and Rin, an orphaned human who showed him kindness while he was injured.

This is a really beautiful cosplay of my favorite yokai of the series! He looks so peaceful, sleeping by the tree. No wonder Rin took a liking to him the moment she saw him.

Anyway, moving on…

Kikyo is a priestess or “miko” in the anime and manga series “Inuyasha”. She is the keeper of the sacred Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls) who fell in love with the half - human, half - dog demon Inuyasha. The couple had planned on using the Sacred Jewel’s power to turn Inuyasha into a full - fledged human so that they could spent eternity together, but the antagonist, Naraku, tricked them into thinking that they were betrayed by each other, resulting in Kikyo’s death and Inuyasha’s fifty year slumber on the Goshinboku (Sacred Tree).

Kikyo’s Resurrection and the awakening of Inuyasha by Kikyo’s Reincarnate, Kagome, gave them a second chance to clear things up. Unfortunately, Kikyo perishes once more in the hands of Naraku, separating them once more…

Beautiful cosplay this pair! Makes me wonder if the Inuyasha in the background is the same Inuyasha I featured last July… Hm…

A rather, redundant title for this one… But the title of this anime is in fact the character’s name after all.

Inuyasha, whose name literally means “dog spirit” is a half demon, half human being, rejected by both races. He embraces his demon side more than his human side, but hates being referred as a “dog” or “puppy”. He has a half brother, Sesshoumaru, in whom he shares the same father.

Great choice of scenery, pose, and costume. You can hardly see how his fake dog ears are attached to his head. Wonderful job on this one! Though I’m not sure if this Inuyasha is a male or female cosplayer…
